Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:
RV tours / walkthroughs
Camping destinations
Hiking
RV modifications & DIYs
RV Cooking
And much more…..
So I invite you to come along with me on this ongoing RV journey.
This may be the perfect van for my retirement. I used to be very fixated on 'it must be 4x4 or all wheel drive' but am really warming to the Promaster chassis. As I get older my priorities are changing.
Yes, it has compromises as all vans do, but the compact size opens up a lot of remote spots within the limits of where the chassis will take you.
For me, I want something to take me to remote/dispersed camp spots on NFS/BLM/State land, and supplement that with Hotel/Motel stays for laundry and bathroom luxury on occasion during the Summer to escape the Phoenix heat. Plenty of those opportunities here in Arizona and neighboring states.
Thanks Ruby.
Glad you liked this RV. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and Thanks for Watching!
Glad to see you back Ruby💞,, hope all is well with your home and things are getting back to normal, nice RV,,
Hello Randy, thank you for the warm words! Thanks for watching!
Her voice is so relaxing..… ASMR
That's because her brain is simple and innocent.....
Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Ruby... it looks a lot like what I’ve been looking for. Keep up your videos. Love ‘em....J.
Hello John, Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you so much for watching!
What a great looking camper van and so much storage. This van was well thought out. I don't need a pop-top but it would come in handy for any visitors. Good review Ruby. Cheers 😘🥂😘
Glad you liked it however keep in mind that it did not have a generator or a AC unit. The engine AC did work well as an alternative. Thanks for Watching and supporting my channel.
Wonderful demo of this RV. This lady gives a very thorough tour and I appreciate that. The huge design flaw is their is no seating in the back when the Murphy bed is in the upright position because of the passenger side cabinets hanging right above where you would sit. It relegates this area to sleeping and storage only which is a big problem when you are talking about a space this small.
Hello Jamie, Thank you so much for the compliment. For some people, having the storage space is what they are looking for and do not need extra seating. Personally, I would also need a microwave, TV, and AC. Thanks for watching!
@@Adventure-Mom I get your point about storage and sleeping space. It just seemed strange that it looked like a seating space on the passenger side of the rear section but the overhead cabinet was too low. Great RV van though!
I'm so glad you survived the hurricane. The video you took was amazing. I'm hoping to get a class B next year probably the same model you have.. and hopefully I'll see you on the road God bless ❤️
Hello Russ, Thank you for the compliment. I really enjoy my B-Class RV and revel often. I am sure you will love having a B-Class. Thank you for supporting my channel.
Another great video. Please don't stop making videos.
Hello, Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching my videos!
Love the new overland storage system!!!! Great review as always!
Hello Daphney, I loved it as well especially since it can be set up for use as an outdoor kitchen area. Thank you so much for watching my videos!
Beautiful!
Hello DocDave, Thank you for the compliment and thanks for watching and supporting my channel!
Ruby, we plan on taking delivery of a National parks 59P on Dec 8th, and hope to get an AC unit installed, most likely with lithium battery upgrade for batteries. Maybe you can do vid on our van with upgrades?
Great video. have a great week.
Hello, great to hear from you! Glad you liked the video. I hope your week goes well too! Thanks for watching!
Amazing how much more room the Dodge offers. They are really nice. Love mine!
Hello Richard, I agree the Ram platform does provide for more interior space. Glad to hear you are happy with yours! Thanks for watching!
You do the best reviews Ruby. Would love to see you cover the Thor Rize/Scope 18G. It's a new floorplan and looks very interesting. Thor has a short video on it but nobody does detail like Ruby. They don't even show how the bed works in their video.
Hello Chris, Thanks for the compliment. I have been on the lookout for the 18G and will do a review once I see it. From the online layout, it looks like it could be a winner. Thanks for supporting my channel.
Ruby, thanks for the great review. I am torn between this one and a Thor Rize or Scope I like the Ram chassis. You have any thoughts?
Ruby, thanks for your content! We are similar to you in going from a Swift 20T to a Tranquility but the 20L for garage space. Would love to chat and see more about ideas for using space.
I enjoyed the Tellaro but just did not like the Ram platform. I have done many modifications to my Sanctuary 19P to make it fit my needs and would be glad to chat about them. Feel free to drop me an email at www.RubyAdventureMom@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!
Very nice tour, Ruby, thanks!
Hello Greg, Glad you liked the tour and Thanks for watching!
@Adventure-Mom Ruby, I have another question for you on this Solis video tour. You showed us the wet bath, and mentioned that it is a little tight. In the fore-aft direction I can see that the space is limited. I wonder can that space be improved if the cassette toilet is rotated out of the way? Finally, in terms of head room, the height of the shower stall seems OK, since you have head room. However I guess that depends on how tall you are; if you don't mind me asking, how tall are you? Again thanks for showing the Solis, as it is one of the RV models that is at the top my list!
Hello Greg, There is a small improvement when you rotate the toilet, but nothing significant and I am 5'4". Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
@Adventure-Mom Thanks for providing that info. Now I can get an idea of how I will fit into all these wonderful RVs that you review!
Beautiful Detailed Review. Thank You 🙏. I’m seriously considering this unit or the Thor Sequence 20A with the pop top. Which one do you like more between these two?
It really depends on how you are going to use it. I loved some of the unique features of the Solis but it's somewhat of a minimalist RV. For me the better option is the Sequence because it comes standard with AC, a microwave and would have a bit more room. Let me know what you decide. Thanks for watching!
Does the backseat has lower anchor and tether?
nice
Hello, I am glad you liked the RV. Thank you so much for watching!
Have you driven any of the new '22 up Promasters? How does the power compare with the new 10sp transmission vs the old 6 speed? How do you like the power vs your Sprinter? Thanks for the videos!
Hello, the 9 speed transmission definitely helps keep the power more available, however the engine is still the same engine and could benefit from more torque. The sprinter definitely has more torque allowing it to cruise at highway speeds without continuously downshifting.
Thanks for watching!
Waiting for you to review the new Airstream Rangeline😀
I will definitely be touring one as soon as one comes in. Thanks for watching!
No basin in the bathroom is poor. I question the need for this to sleep 4 people, and for the need for the second double bed. I can imagine 4 people travelling in this for more than a few days would become pretty tight. Some of the 2nd bed area could've been used for a larger bathroom. As Ruby said, the bathroom was already small without a basin in it. Seems like an ideal RV for 2. Make a smaller back end a lounge area with a TV, and put a microwave in the kitchen.
Hello, I agree that using this RV for frequent camping with four people could be tight and uncomfortable. I believe that it is a great option for those traveling and camping with small kids or even for those that only occasionally have one or two extra people come along such as those with college aged children. Thanks for watching!
What is dimensions of the bed?
Did you ever open and close the pop up top? I don't think I could so I didn't even consider it
Yes, we did open and close the pop top but it can be somewhat challenging however it did have a nice latching system. Thanks for watching!
WOW your beautiful!!!
Thanks for the compliment and Thanks for Watching!
Great RV and presentation. But no sink in the bathroom?
I prefer to have a sink in the bathroom as well. Thanks for Watching!
We saw this rv at the Tampa RV show. It doesn't have an AC unit. How often do you use the roof AC on your RV?
Hello Robert, you are correct that this edition does not come with AC. For me, AC is very important and gets used quite often as I like camping in warmer climates. Thanks for Watching!
This also comes in non-poptop with an AC and some dealers will add a generator for you. Very expensive but at least you get to the best of both worlds. Wish they just included like the PX
i been binge watching my god this woman is so gorgeous
LOL, thank you Kobe for the compliment and for supporting my channel!
@@Adventure-Mom can you wear shorts for your next review thank you
That would be a great adventure rig for weekend warriors.
👍
I agree! Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Max, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for watching!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Do you accepts trading for a car?
Love it however, no Aircon?
Correct, No AC or generator. Thanks for watching!
That's the kind of rearview mirror I wanted but the Thors didn't have them
It's certainly a nice feature to have. Thanks for watching!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hello RK, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
No A/C, what are they thinking, Northern/Alaska sales only, LOL... love the review.
Hello Todd, Yes I would agree that AC is a must for me as well but this RV is more for the minimalist RV camper as it did not even have a generator. Thanks for Watching!
Dear Ruby another great tour by you 🌹. Not a bad small van. Just ine issue for me, the front on view of the RAMs us just butt ugly. I could never iwn ine of these.
Hello Max, quite a few others have commented on the front look of the van as well. Thanks for watching!
They have a whole new front end bodies on the way. There's a few out there. They're on the way for sure or looks a billion times better. That looks so aged the old ones
Cute 😍…..but no Volta system?
Nope not on this RV and no generator either. Thanks for Watching!
Love to see them put lithium in this.
Hello Coco, I agree and was surprised that it did not have lithium as it does not have a generator either. However, I guess it does not need a generator as it does not have AC either. Thanks for watching!
Let’s check the rear, she says. Yes, let’s.
Thanks for watching my video!
No AC??
Nice rear!
Thanks for watching!
That back area was really poorly designed. The Murphy bed could’ve been designed a lot better so the upper cabinet could’ve been deeper. That should have been an easy change that Winnebago definitely dropped the ball not doing. Other than that though I like the design except for the fact that they couldn’t find a place for a microwave. One thing that’s bugging me about a lot of these vans is they don’t offer an option for a propane or an induction cooktop… It seems like something that they could/should offer.
Hello Thomas, Thank you for the comment. This RV seems to have been targeting the minimalist camper with kids as it did not have a generator, AC, TV, or microwave. Thanks for Watching and supporting my channel.
👍👍👍🌹👏👏👏
Thanks for Watching!
@@Adventure-Mom THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMPREHENSIVE AND INTERESTING REVIEWS! СПАСИБО ЗА ВАШИ ПОЛНЫЕ И ИНТЕРЕСНЫЕ ОБЗОРЫ!
I see they're making up for the lack of room for the sewer hose on the side by adding the storage to the bottom.
Hello, it's nice that the sewer hose storage is now in located in the back underneath the van freeing up the space for the use of the overland drawer system. Thanks for watching!
No A/c ?
Hello Laura, AC is available as an option on the 59P without pop-top.
Thanks for watching!
No tv sorry winnabgo still can't build them right after all theses years
Tie your hair back.
Hello Edward, thanks for the input and thanks for watching!
