  • Jan had a middle cerebral artery stroke in January 2010 aged 31, this is the second year of recovery.

    His recovery is incredible. It has really encouraged
    me to never give up. MS will never get the best of
    me, there is no quit me. God is the one helping us
    to walk and to keep going.

    i had multiple hemorrhages in my brain stem, 3 to be exact, everything went wrong im lucky to be alive. my stroke happen in Sept 2012. god bless never give up hope. great job!

    Loved watching your progress through the years! I am a 3rd Year Speech Pathology Student in Australia.     My mom just had a stroke too she saying words slowly and still feeling a little better

    Hi, Great to see Jan make a godd recovery in year 4! i am going through something like this with my partner who had 2 brain haemorrhages and a brain abscess while having a heat infection in Aug 2015. Unfortunatley he is not recoverying a quickly as JAn but there is hope he will still improve, he has right side paraysis with some movement in his leg returning, his speach reading and writing have all been badly effected. I just wondered what rehab facilities Jan went to especially later on after he was discharged as i am sure Mat would benefit from more treatment. Thanks

    I know how he feels I got a vasulies witch caused 4 mini strokes which I'm still recovering from

      Same here my mom had a tia mini strokes she was able to get upstairs she is eating little by little gets tired a lot and gets frustrated as well

      +Rakesh G, about 3 to 4 months before we didn't own a wheelchair but about a year before it was a good pace.
