HI Kiro, how many months before he became the beast ? It's wonderful transition from fry to an adult, I watched this video many times and still love it! Hope you have some information about some time line from fry to this beautiful beast! Love the solid kok and the pinkish color!
I wouldn't recommend a 2 feet, 60cm tank for a full grown flowerhorn. At least a tank of 1.2m length would give enough space for a full grown flowerhorn. I've seen one that grew to 60cm which is rare but still possible.
@@pantonsfishkeeping3512 beware of white spots. I can tell youre new in fish keeping, or perhaps youre into this for years but didnt know that this can cause whitespots..
@@ianart2599 I’m aware that a temperature fluctuations of more than 4*C can stress a fish out enough to bring on whitespot but unless the temperature difference is an intense swing he shouldn’t have much to worry about, where I live we have flash flooding which would emulate a situation like this, sudden forced rapid changes in water chemistry and temperature, the local fish never suffer and if one were to I would assume an already compromised immune system would be at fault here, I understand that what he did here was not ideal although I was only trying to express that there is no way for you to be sure that this fish died from a rapid acclimation, you know that the parasite for whitespot or ich is growing in all aquariums regardless of water chemistry or quality and it’s the fish itself whether it be stressed (which will bring it on) or it may already have a case of whitespot. As for mixing the bag water with the tank water, only really an issue when introducing a fish to a community and not an obvious either quarantine tank or isolation tank, the water may bring something with it but the fish was previously in that water, it will have already had it’s effects if any and assuming you’re doing proper water changes then a little bit of bag water won’t 1. Kill your cycle and 2. Harm the fish as it was already in that water to begin with. I hope you understand what I was trying to say as I think your original comment was an over reaction, I myself don’t put the bag water in but someone who does isn’t going to surely kill a fish.
From where did you purchase it.
I also want to purchase.
I have the same flowerhorn pn I can't indentify if it is male pr female
Which water filter are you using?

Just this day purchased a kamfa flowerhorn hope it good grow same as yours😍😍
Hi Kiro, how many days it takes to grow the hump/kok? I have one after 2 months the kok looks same as first time.
Hi, just enjoy the proses. You must know your fish is female or male, if female it's impossible to have a hump/kok
majority of the time the kok size depends on the genes of the parents so maybe your flowerhorns genes are not that good

Im pretty sure this.fish didnt survive. TIP 101: avoid combining the water from the plastic into your tank.
How are you pretty sure of that? Yes it a was rapid acclimation but that’s not a sure way to kill a fish although it definitely has it’s risks
