Extremely informative video. Thank you so much. I've been searching for metatarsal support shoes and this really helps. Stores (even big brands) in India do not have this information and are clueless in providing the right shoe.
I love the video it was very informational. I struggle with severe plantar fasciitis. I have a low arch and I land heavy on my heel and wear evenly left and right. Not sure what shoe I should get for day to day wear and casual running.
Now i'm confused. I have low arch close to flat feet for both feet. It should be overpronate. BUT my shoe wear was on outside for both feet! So my arch said i am overpronate But my shoe wear said i am supinate
Can you help me recomminding a shoe for my mom 65years old, and she have knee pain She don't run but she walk (daily morning/evening) and walk on steps around floors dauly.
I have high arch feet and I experience some knee pain and tibialis anterior pain when running and exercising high intensity. I need a running shoe for a 1.5miles 3times a week for 5-6weeks. Which of the shoes would you recommend? (I intend to land flat when running and have wide feet, incase that matters)
Ok... So... If I figure out my foot shape and gait... What is a good walking shoe that could also be used for casual running? My family and I are going to DC for a 16 day vacation in April. The last time we walked a lot was Disney and after only 1 day we were all in a ton of pain. Help!
Until you know your foot mechanics it is hard to give you a solid recommendation. If you want to do some running in the shoe, we can suggest getting a running shoe, not a walking shoe. If you are going to be on your feet for long periods of time, a max cushioned model will be a good choice as well. Hope this helps! www.holabirdsports.com/collections/running-shoes
i dont run, i just want to walk! have sole pattern of supra ? , the underpronation on most my shoes with exception of neutral pattern on a heavy soled espirit runner/leisure shoe. my ankles heels and calves are torture everyday, i just get through my shift, get home limp on the carpet and into the recliner with my feet up for the rest of the day - thought it was just general aging. do running shoes recommendations include those of us who dont run but just want to be able to walk around for the day without pain. And what about sandals etc, i have hot feet from all the pain/inflammation? #sweetrelief
You can filter the running shoes on our website to show just the shoes that are best suited for people who over pronate. Check it out here: www.holabirdsports.com/collections/all-shoes/Type_Running-Shoes+Foot-Mechanics_Overpronation+ Thanks for the question! Hope we helped.
@@DubTuck002 mine got worse too the first two months of transitioning while my foot gained strength. Nearly gone now and my ankles feel so much stronger! also i actually was able to naturally rebuild my arch. Hope ur plantar fascitis improves, its horrible waking up with foot pain 🙏🏽
@@alexsifuentes2465 I tried it for a year with no improvement. 😔 Even eased into it for a couple months. I'm doing everything I can to avoid surgery. How long have you used those shoes?
