I like camping. Haven't done it since my childhood though. This gives me a lot of nostalgia, because it reminds me of the old family vacations we used to have on the Croatian island of "Krk" (not a typo, hehe) back in the 80s. We would park my grandparent's trailer basically right on the beach and fall asleep at night to the sounds of the waves gently crashing against the beach and a slow and mournful rendition of "Quantanamera" wafting over the sea, from a pier night club on another beach. Then you wake up to the crisp ocean breeze and take a morning stroll past the medieval harbor of a nearby town, full of fishing boats, to eat pastries for breakfast at one of the beach view cafes. Nice memories.
Love this video! I'm with you Chris and not really into camping, but glamping is the way to go. Great location and so close to the beach. The trailers look like fun. Your Traveling Princess looks like she enjoyed it, she is already a great traveller. Thanks Chris
That looks really neat! I like the idea of glamping where it is like camping but you don't have to worry about having your own tent, trailer, or RV. I haven't gone camping since I was a kid, but I remember enjoying it. I like how close to the ocean it is!
I think this kind of vintage trailer rental is definitely becoming a thing.. maybe not "common" -- but there are quite a few places that offer something like this
Awesome! This looks like a great way to test out the camper life. San Clemente is a great area too. Great idea for a fun trip and video to share with us!
Love this video, Chris! I just recently started glamping and have discovered that I really love it. This place looks great, I may have to check it out the next time I'm in CA!
San Clemente Beach looks beautiful. And glamping in "The Holidays" trailers seems like a lovely way to stay right by the beach. However, I have never stayed somewhere that you had to pay for tokens to be able to use the shower. That seems strange. But I would still love to do this. Thanks for sharing this experience with us!
I know it's probably to help save water, but it bugs me that you pay so much for CA state campgrounds and then also have to pay for the showers. Most of the campgrounds I have been to on the east coast you can use the shower (if there is one) with your camping fees. Glad you had a fun time, it looks like a nice campground!
I’m with you Chris; when it comes to camping I’m not into roughing it. Give me a luxurious camping setup, or give me a 5⭐️ hotel. Another great video. 👏🏻 P.S. Our love to the Traveling Princess 🥰; she’s practically growing up right before our eyes. P.S.S. Someday (when this nasty pandemic is over) you have to do a video on the best, all-inclusive, and most luxurious train adventure.
Greetings Chris! When I was in the Scouts and my kids were in the Scouts, yes we did camping, from pup tents (WWII tents) to cabins, we were young then. Coffee thing?????? That’s a Percolator, they make some of the best coffee out there! But, I will excuse you, percolators are not of your generation. LOL. I’m sorry but camping for me means hot and cold running water AC and heat AND indoor plumbing!!!! Enjoy your Princess I’m sure she is getting a kick out of all of this.

Nice memories.
That sounds like a nice camping experience on Krk! That island is missing a vowel for sure :)
Wonderful memories of my youth. Thanks Chris. Have a great weekend. PS.....loved your daughters little overalls. ha ha ha
Thanks M P! Overalls keep her knees safe :)
@@YellowProductions lololol
OHHHHH my Goshhhhhh how cute she is! I'm Sure your little girl has enjoyed this experience the most 💛💛💛
I think she did :)
Looks like the traveling princess enjoyed the beach!
She sure did!
Hi Chris. What a unique place and way to go camping. It's for those who want to rough it without really roughing it.
Thank you Chris, a very GOOD video! Traveling Princess looks like she is a very happy camper!! She is SO adorable!!
Thanks Debbie!
I live just a few miles from San Clemente in Dana Point! This looks so fun!
I've always wanted to go glamping!
Must admit. I haven’t watched your videos for quite a while, I think it was Vegas videos before I went there in 2019. Congrats on the baby!
Thanks Kellogs.. welcome back! :)
@@YellowProductions Cheers bud. Loving having a binge watch of your vids ❤️
Lovely. We used to do similar things in Australia with things called "wicked campers" but it was way less family friendly. Awesome video
Probably has alot more beer in Australia :)
@@YellowProductions Yes indeed. And, for some reason, cheap box wine lol
THANKS FOR THE REVIEW AND YOUR DAUGHTER IS SO CUTE
Thanks Linda :)
Wow very cool, I’m planning to do that in Texas.
Glamping? With no toilet and no shower? LOL That is not my idea of glamping! Love the retro vintage trailers though.
Love this video! I'm with you Chris and not really into camping, but glamping is the way to go. Great location and so close to the beach. The trailers look like fun. Your Traveling Princess looks like she enjoyed it, she is already a great traveller. Thanks Chris
Thanks Colleen! It was a fun wholesome family weekend!
I'm planning to visit California (Los Angeles, San Diego) and Las Vegas (inspire by you!) but I can't imagine my wife inside one of those trailers...
This was ocgirls idea! :)
Interesting video ....your travelling princess is too cute ...and the way she was copying you when you were talking at the table adorable
Awww :)
Hi bass nice to go outside you daughter is too cute [ princess ] Chris, a very GOOD video!
Thanks Barry!
These are pretty cute! San Clemente is such a wonderful little beach town. We love to mountain bike and hike in the hills!
The hiking trails in the hills are pretty cool! And not too busy!
Great video Chris, your daughter is adorable
Thanks Karen!

350 steps.. pretty close to the beach!
I hate camping and this still won't work for me. LOL Your Princess is so cute!
Thanks Ohana Finder!
Great Video 😊
Thanks Claire!
Chris, you'll be doing a thru hike on the PCT next.
Hah
I hope you took advantage of that corn hole amenity. 🌽
Our traveling Princess loved playing it :)
Looks fun. Don't think they have those kind of trailers in Hawaii. Is this type of camping experience common in California?
I think this kind of vintage trailer rental is definitely becoming a thing.. maybe not "common" -- but there are quite a few places that offer something like this
I love san clemente beach!! your kid is so adorable🥰🥰🥰
Thanks A&J!
Awesome! This looks like a great way to test out the camper life. San Clemente is a great area too. Great idea for a fun trip and video to share with us!
Thanks Two! :)
Love this video, Chris! I just recently started glamping and have discovered that I really love it. This place looks great, I may have to check it out the next time I'm in CA!
Very cool Wonderland!
Your traveling princess is getting so big! This looks like tons of fun. I love San Clemente beach but Ive never visited the State Park. Great review!
Thanks Swifty!
How to get into The Holidays via reserve California? Help please. I seem to get stuck at the first step, city or name of camp site???
San Clemente State Beach
Is that a state campground or a private one? That's cool that they have trailers to rent.
Campground is public.. the 4 trailers are operated by a private company on the state campground
@@YellowProductions Thank You
These travel videos make me so jealous!
8:53 This was my very first thought when I opened the video lol
Beautiful video Chris! You're traveling princess is adorable! 🙋🏼♀️👋💐💝🙋🏼♀️🥰
Thanks Marie!

Yeah... the token showers is weird
I've thought about that, I think I will pass. The prices you mentioned look like a rip off. Mike in Aliso Viejo.
I think the beachfront location comes with a price premium
At 1:10 I saw the future host in about 20 years.
Hi Little Explorer

Most of the campgrounds I have been to on the east coast you can use the shower (if there is one) with your camping fees. Glad you had a fun time, it looks like a nice campground!
Yeah.. it does sort of feel like an insult to pay $1 to shower
I’m with you Chris; when it comes to camping I’m not into roughing it. Give me a luxurious camping setup, or give me a 5⭐️ hotel.

Thanks NothingMaster! Oooh.. I like Luxurious train adventures.. I'm sure we could find a good one in Japan
No man would walk very far to take a pee at night. Just walk out of the trailer, whip it out and let it go. That’s camping
Hah
Seems like for 200 a night you don’t get much and they nickel and dime you for the normal amenities
Lots of extra fees it seems
Greetings Chris! When I was in the Scouts and my kids were in the Scouts, yes we did camping, from pup tents (WWII tents) to cabins, we were young then. Coffee thing?????? Yeah.. I like indoor plumbing too :)
Glamping is in a tent not a caravan
They don’t make it like that anymore
Bastards. They charge you $200 a night to sleep in their camper. Nice concept, but that kills it. As do the other bullshit fees.
No bathroom in the trailer? I'll pass
"Dry sites??" $200 a night, and you can't even take a shower and get clean? FU!
Idk sounds like they are a rip off
