Thank you Kristen for this! Your deck creation is so inspiring. ❤️😊 It's come at a good time as with the new year I've been feeling like this *might* be the year for me to make an oracle deck for myself. I've on and off considered it but let my lack of artistic confidence and lack of computer skills get in the way. These are great tips to get started!
Thank you Laura! I'm glad to inspire you and I hope you'll put aside any "lacks" this year and just make something. It doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to be a beginning. xoxo
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed the video. I've listed the apps in the description section. I don't do videos on apps because many of the apps I love to use aren't available anymore. I think it's best to just understand editing styles and when to use them. If you know the editing style you need, you can always find an app to fit the bill. You might want to check out my website: www.creativeiphoneography.com/ See Workflow and Articles.
Came across this video by accident and so grateful I did. You are an extremely talented artist. Make it ugly? They’re stunning! Have you ever considered having any of these published? You are inspirational 🙏🏻 thank you
Thanks for visiting Catherine! So glad you stumbled across this post. I don't know what you mean by "published" but you can look through the description to find links for decks that are available to the public through my Ko-fi page or my Shopspace on Printerstudio. Also, I just uploaded another similar video based on my 2021 creations. You can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/AZTGIJYG_2I/v-deo.html
Came here from your instagram and just subscribed 🌻 Wow- so many awesome sparks! Not just for oracle cards, but also for casting boards. So grateful for all these wonderful ideas. There are so many projects I want to do now! 💛💛💛💛💛
These were *awesome* ideas! Thank you so much for putting this together, I can't wait to try out a few of these concepts! I always lean toward drawing my own stuff, but I really like the idea of intentionally "making it ugly," or using magazine cutouts, or words only. Some of my students did a project of making ugly art, and a lot of the pieces turned out pretty nice! So that's something to explore.
Hey there! Thanks for visiting. I make all of the cards myself using cardstock, my deskjet printer, a heat laminator, and paper cutter. So I can change the dimensions and shape of each deck to my liking. I have a video on the process: ua-cam.com/video/8x7I4f9kwmI/v-deo.html
Thanks Maria! Yes, I print on my desktop printer and use my thermal laminator to laminate them. Then I cut with a paper trimmer and corner round. It makes them look and feel like a professional set of cards. They shuffle easily and they won't get scuffed up. You can find my supplies in my Amazon storefront (link in description).
Hi.. Those stickers that were on that square sheet in the boxes, you called them casting sheets. What are those used for? I liked your video.. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Hey there! Thanks for visiting. Casting sheets are for throwing charms, bones, stones, runes, coins, whatever. You see what symbol they land on for meaning.
how do you get the sheen on your cards? I saw that some, like your zen oracle, have a professionally printed look to them - were they laminated, just printed on neenah, or is there some other trick? they look beautiful! :)
I print the cards on my desk jet printer using Neenah Bright White card stock. Then I heat laminate, cut and corner round. That gives them a very professional look and they are easy to shuffle too. Glad you like! Thanks for visiting!!

Will you be selling any of these? I really really enjoyed that circle coloring book deck but i don't have a printer or anything to make it with. I understand if you can't sell it for copyright or legal reasons. Also what kind of card stock did you use for the collage deck? Edit: i typed this in the middle of the video and just heard you say something about the kofi page lol
Thanks for visiting...please check the video description for available decks and resources. And yes, there are copyright issues re: the coloring book deck. I use Neenah Bright White card stock for printing everything on my computer. My Amazon storefront with my supply recommendations is also in the description section.

I was resisting that first task but why did that s--t work!?!!? I wrote a whole paragraph about a REMOTE?! 😅
haha YES! Several ppl who follow me on IG have entire 10-minute oracle decks! You should keep going!
