Wow! This is fun. I am an old-school Vayniac. I learned so much about wine from you back in the WLTV days, Gary. The wine world still needs you, maybe more than ever. Your honesty is so refreshing, please stay true to that, as you always did! I am not surprised that you disagreed with a JS score, he has never been the same since leaving Spectator and going out on his own. Welcome back, Gary!
Gary, you’re a huge reason why I became a wine geek and now work in the industry. I’ve watched so much WLTV over the years, but always lamented the fact that I was too young for the original run. Every time you’ve done a one-off episode over the years it has absolutely made my day, so this news makes me so happy. Thank you for bringing the thunder show back, I can’t wait to taste along with you!
I am so happy to see this coming back. It makes me feel old thinking that I started watching you 18 years ago! You helped me get back into wine and I absolutely loved the show❤❤❤❤❤❤
He’s back! Memories of the wine journey my friends & I went on watching the original WineLibrary TV. We still wear the wristbands when we get together to drink wine these days!
WineLibrary TV is what made my commute from Boston to NH tolerable for so many years. I watched EVERY single episode and it helped to propel my non-existent cellar into one that is nearly 800 bottles today. Most of all, thank you for allowing me into your studio as a guest to view your interview with Kermit Lynch in April of 2010! I could not have picked a better time to be visiting the store and was like a giddy child watching that episode live. While I truly appreciated the sweatbands, something I've kept to this day, your generosity of allowing me to leave with a WineLibrary wine box was completely unmatched and something I continue to brag about today. You're the best Gary V, thank you!!!
So much has changed in half a lifetime. Broke in college learning about value wines and how to appreciate them to living in California with two kids, where wine is a necessity of life. Great to have you back, Garry.
This is the greatest news I have heard in a looooong time! Original WLTV and Daily Grape member here (Cubatobaco)! Met many wonderful people during those days. Cheers, brother!
Absolutely loved the nostalgia in bringing back WineLibraryTV vibes! For entrepreneurs looking to engage an audience, remember that consistency is key; GaryVee's success with content is a testament to that. Also, don't underestimate the power of nostalgia in re-engaging long-time followers.
I watched Wine Library TV after it was off UA-cam, but I learned a lot from watching EVERY OLD EPISODE. Looking forward to your wonderful love of wine!
OG from Wine library!!!! look man, 18 years later I still can't score Wine Libary Swag! Hit me up for old times!!!! BTW got my Somm Cert because of this show!!!!
Wine Library TV is where I started my wine journey back at Virginia Tech (yes, part of that class that convinced Gary to come down to campus). Working in the industry now I’m excited to see this come back. I just hope to see more Washington wines this time around (happy to help with that)!
So awesome to have WineLibraryTV 2.0, WineTextTV, back "on the air." I'm looking forward to future episodes. I tried so many great wines back in the day.
This is so informative, interesting, & I love THIS concept bc your enthusiasm makes me excited and I didnt know any of THIS when I come from a mere industry background only! I adore your personal connections from wordly varieties! I also appreciate you have a palette and will b an honest straight shooter! Thank U!!! 🙏🙏❤❤
The wine industry is ripe for innovation! Love this and I’d love to be a guest on your show! Let’s tell stories and inspire. wine is more than a commodity!
@Gary you’re a monster! This show is going to blow up. Everyone enjoys wine at “some” level. Have guests on the show. I’d love to chop it up with you and taste wine🍷as a nobody but to learn from you 💯%. Batman and Robin, my brother.
Gary, great to watch again! Suggestion. Get the mic on something separate from where you swirl the glass. The glass swirls noise almost cover up your voice. My best!
Great stuff! The wine world needs you now even more than 18 years ago. Mr. Parker’s palate and honesty are lacking in those trying to fill his shoes. As you discovered I discount J. Suckling’s scores by 4-7 points automatically, sometimes they are even more off than that. Really hope you follow through and do a weekly show. This old school Vayniac is hopeful.
Funny listen to the closing here. I started watching WLTV in 2005 as a 21 year old. 1. I basically picked marketing in college b/c of GV. 2. I learned so much about wine from the show that I've become the defacto "you pick the wine" or "you taste it for the table" guy... and not that I wanted that, but GV succeeded in demystifying it and making it approachable so that I am fine with it. And every single time I explain to people it's not intimidating. that they just need to taste more things or ask the somm or waiter their recommendation b/c they've tasted it. It's cool to see the wine world change :) I've missed ya Vayniacs. Lurkers, be sure to engage in the comments, the threads are fun! Finally, GV I hope all is well!
I cringe every time he dumps out a glass of $300 wine. What I learned from Garry, I like old world expensive wines - so I pretty much quit drinking it because I didn't like it $50 worth. I want and old world stinky wine for $15. Now my Dr. says I can't have any so...
My dude, The number of hours I watched you taste wine 🤯 Today you had me download twitch and I find I have to pay to be in the cool club. Sigh Always love for you though brother. Yours, B.S.
Fun, great video! Just recently started trying a lot of red wines and it’s been fun. A few of my favorites are a Naomi cab, catena Malbec is pretty decent, taken cab. Anyone had anyone of these?
I've had nothing but bad experiences with wines from Josh Cellars - cabernet, chardonnay and the prosecco rose'. The Prosecco Rose was super awful. I've tried but cannot go back into that pool.
WLTV, and stalking the aisles of Wine Library, was how I started to learn about wine and it's been an enduring love ever since. (thescrewcap on the forums.) Glad to have you back and tasting wine, Gary. Licking slate since '06.
Why do I have an emotional response to this news? Brings back memories of my life when I watched every day. Today, the Vayniacs are happy.
So Nostalgic! I discovered Gary through early Wine Library episodes with Mott ❤. So happy the Thundershow is back 🔥 Lurker no longer ❤
I was born after he started Wine library. Crazy to think about what it really takes to be successful

OG Wine Library TV enthusiast here! You inspired me to travel the world to explore and continuously educate my palate.
Give it a sniffy sniff - get your nose right in there! 😂
Welcome back Garyvee! So fun and nostalgic! As an original Vayniac I still have the T-shirts and wristbands.

I remember watching this a month ago. Love Gary's relationship with his Dad.
This is the UA-cam moment I've been waiting for!!!!! So much love and respect for you Gary.
I’m an OG. UpstatePat from the old days. So glad to see you back talking about wine. I feel the same about Josh.
Watched wltv from early in 2007, great to see you doing this again -- Dr T

Couldn’t be happier the Thundershow is back!! Just what I didn’t know I needed but am so excited about!!

Very good, you're back... I was a loyal WineLibraryTV viewer from Switzerland
Great to see you back Gary from the UK! Watched many a WLTV; will keep up with you on the new shows!
Gary! I love this! I'm an OG WineLibraryTV watcher. This is still my favorite content you've ever produced.
Glad you are back! I have always love your videos and learned so much. I love trying all varietals. There is so much to explore.
So much has changed in half a lifetime. Broke in college learning about value wines and how to appreciate them to living in California with two kids, where wine is a necessity of life. Great to have you back, Garry.

OG watcher! So looking forward to this! Keep them coming! I think I need to break out the wristbands!
Wine library watcher since episode ~140 or so. Would love to see some natural wine on here! Really great to see this back :) big cheers
LOVE this... SO good... a great revival
I was a BIG FAN of Wine Library, I passed the Certified Sommelier exam in 2014 and then moved on to Whisky in 2016
I've missed you!!! Glad you're back!!!
Loved WIne Library, glad to see you back at it 🎉

Where's Mott? Hey Gary. I attended both your Vayniac events in San Francisco back in the day. Nice to see you back doing some sniffy sniff.
Glad to see you're back. You're going to have to bring this down to like 10 minutes to get me to watch regularly, however.
Good memories man. Watched all the time back in the day. And the WL guys hooked me up with a couple winery tours in Mendoza for my honeymoon.
I am very happy to see that you are rebooting the show. I started watching WLTV in its second year. -- Pardus

Hoping for some reviews of Finger Lakes wines.

Nostalgia at max level
Get it, Gary! Back to the roots!
Literally. The Wine Vines. Maybe he should call it that 😊
Oak monster comeback?! Heck yeah!
@Gary you’re a monster! This show is going to blow up. Everyone enjoys wine at “some” level. Have guests on the show. I’d love to chop it up with you and taste wine🍷as a nobody but to learn from you 💯%. Batman and Robin, my brother.

Gary I am glad you’re finally back! 🍷
So many years later…this is F*ing awesome!

Keep the spit bucket. That’s the branding identity from Wine Library circa 2006. War Brandon 🔥
MAN DRINKIN ON THE JOB! Lol
Wow! It's been 18 years since Wine Library? Been following you since...
I was 18 when you started Wine Library TV ❤
Great memories especially with the community who was there since the beginning 🤲🏼✅
Gotcha🔥🔥 keep up the great work champ!
Welcome Back!
Please do a Portuguese wine show!

Always loved your wine reviews.
Im so glad that im not the only one who experiences technical difficulties on live 😅 , good on you gv
The Thunder Show is back!!! Rebranded but still. 🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥

The Grapest Wine Teacher in The World is Back on the Track, There is Light again!
18 years and they didn’t think to test these cameras before the biggest name in media sat down. That’s a head scratcher. Anyway, congrats, good show.
New tech is not all good. Wifi connection to multiple platforms to stream could reduce bandwith, that why the had to connect the fiber....
Wondering if Gary dumped that Josh into the bucket at the very end ;)
My dude,
The number of hours I watched you taste wine 🤯
Today you had me download twitch and I find I have to pay to be in the cool club. Sigh
Always love for you though brother.

Legen...Wait for it...Gary
Este pana esta muy claro, un referente total a la hora de pensar en crear contenido
I miss the "Big Ass Wine Glass"
I remember those old days. Now you are not only busier, your tchotchke is out of control. Keep on keeping on Gary!
Painting parties art and Gary’s super wine
I love Carignano del Sulcis from Sardinia, Earthy, fruit, and high Tannins, full body
I've had nothing but bad experiences with wines from Josh Cellars - cabernet, chardonnay and the prosecco rose'. The Prosecco Rose was super awful. I've tried but cannot go back into that pool.
WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE MY EXCITEMENT.
I still have my wrist bands

I would recommend the Gabriel-Glas Universal wine glass for tasting. Made in Austria.
Welcome back, my friend. We should collaborate some time.
Have you ever tried Torti Wines from Italy? How do they rate?
We drink tons of cabs. Going to disagree with you on the Josh. It's terrific.
still have my wristband
first time here but loved wine library tv - the auto is dropping badly
MOTT!!!

2014 Once & Future Petite Sirah Palisades Vineyard is in my glass.
Where's the "Big Ass Glass"?
Shipping to Australia?
I have to ask, is Daddy Vaynerchuk still with us? Your father is the best.
video reminds me of NY Jets offense!!!
Drinking Spanish Vina Real Crianza 2017 Rioja, It is earthy and has higher acid, medium body with fruit and american oak.
Came for the text :)
You boys are dumping a lot of $300 wine
Bring back Mott! What happened to him?
