Midway through the game, once Joe said Steve was good, I thought Joe was Mafia. And the way he kept subtlety backing Steve up, it seemed so obvious. And man Bart, Bart would’ve won. Dangit. First time watching roles hidden and I did so well! I knew Micheal was nurse from the get go and I caught on to Bart being mafia pretty quick. Never suspected nikki tho

What josh did, let me try and justify Lets assume nurse saved themselves because you probably don't want to die in the first round. And mafia attacked serial killer but they couldn't kill him, but they know he's serial killer. They now know who the nurse is and know they can't save themselves so they will be attacked... ... and IDK where I was going with this it's pretty dumb even though I probably thought of the same play as Josh. If nurse wasn't either of those two they could of come out and confirmed they saved so and so. Then they had the votes to kill serial killer, at least 3 for sure: cop, nurse and person saved, that would reduce the amount of people killed to 1 per night. And a mind game of "did nurse save themselves or cop" cop would be best as they can check who is mafia, so nurse would sacrifice themselves.
I don't follow your logic. If Josh revealed he checked Michael, the only info he would be revealing is that Michael was not Mafia. Mafia already knows that. They would not have any more info on whether Michael was or was not nurse. If Josh had revealed his info, that would have saved one town kill.
