Do you mind if I ask for some tips on how to do the Tek cave on the Island? Single player mode, flying force allowed in caves. Elemental powered Tek Suit available although the available Element is limited.
I’m thinking of two mate boosted Yutys, Daodon and a mix of Rexes and Theris. Possibly an Argentavis to fly on. Might have to lead the tames past high ledges and lava since they have a tendency to fall-especially the Rexes although arranging them to follow each other in a big conga line does help with that.
Or should I go in with a squad of Argentavis and Dimetrodons and avoid the problem altogether and bring the group of ground mount through once the cave is clear… except for the Giga said to be standing guard at some point?
The worst tame is the female megaloceros and fish basket creatures in my opinion
The oviraptor lets you have automated egg collection, instead of automated dead babies. Pretty useful to me.
Ok so just so I understand, it automatically collects any eggs made by your tames?
@@mariabegley1668 any eggs, as well as fertilized eggs, you can check their inventory for the eggs they collected, they make female egg laying creatures, lay eggs faster, also, for this tame, you upgrade attack dmg, the higher the dmg, the more radius it gains so it can collect eggs further away. You might think ''upgrade weight so it can hold more eggs''. you dont do that lol. i have a oviraptor, thats filled with eggs and cant move, and keeps collecting. so upgrade atk dmg in oviraptor
@@kauntakingu thanks a lot dude
@@kauntakingu also this is true for ark mobile right?
@@mariabegley1668 no, only in ark ascended
also oviraptors boost egg production useful for breeding and kibble making
I need to trade someone for a oviraptor and a queen bee I'm on scorched earth though
You don’t know how many times me holding an archeopteryx has saved me from a long drop
i hope u say only for the female megaloceros they are one of the best boss runners to do overseer i did an run on the center only using him they have insane dps speed and they follow without falling in the lava
yup only the females
And here I thought the titanoboa and onyc would be here
Lol
I like your videos also your upload schedule is emaculate you post so many videos and its fantastic you really deserve more views and subs and likes. I wish you well in your youtube career
I will try my best
In my opinion these are creatures I think aren't worth taming:
Gallimimus, Diplodocus, Manta (bad stats and its so fragile, just use and Icthyosaurus), Pegomastax, Archaeopteryx, Liopluerodon (idk if it's better in ASA, but i remember in ASE this thing was never worth trying to find), Pulmonoscorpius (this thing was necessary with the old kibble system, but with the new and current system there's no reason to tame them), Titanoboa, female Megaloceros
Diploa can be used as busses
You're all forgeting troodons 😅😂
The pachy can actually be really good in pvp.
I did actually use the Oviraptor for breeding.. until I figured out how to adjust the single player settings to completely fit my style because I think waiting for 3-6 hours between mating was absurd after my one Oviraptor got eaten.
The only other one I ended up getting on this list was the Pachy. Not actually a creature I was intending to tame but he wandered into my camp one time while I was stuck there for awhile breeding new recruits into my Rex Army.
So I gave him a fair chance, set him at the edge of the camp to help act as a guard dog alongside the surviving Dilos and levelled him up. By then I wasn’t wasting engrams on anything so I wanted him to prove useful before expending engram points on a saddle.
He never earned that saddle. I quickly realised that the stat gains were poor so I didn’t bother. He lasted as long as the Dilos did. I still don’t know how a Carno found its way there-it shouldn’t have happened at that location and never did again but it absolutely wrecked the guard dogs and almost got me in the process.
I was just able to scramble up the ladder to the roof and shoot it with my pistol as I was just making the transition to simple pistol and crossbow to pistol and assault rifle. Thankfully the baby Rexes were safe in the store enclosure. Lesson learned I soon built up proper outer walls and towers.
I think the need for oviraptor is no longer needed since the kibble change as you can use multiple different eggs for each kibble type, it was a must way back
They pick up eggs
The one time I tamed a compy it was the last survivor of a pack that saved me from a troodon.
lol
I have to disagree very hard on the Oviraptor. Man literally what the freak? The Oviraptor is one of the best utilities out there, not just for fertilized eggs but egg production and collection in general for kibbles. I ve let this dude with a bunch of Rexes Yuties Baryonyxes and other creatures and hes stacking those eggs right now mine has on him 56 rex eggs on him. FIFTY SIX rex eggs i did not collect for 2 days and he collected by himself while I was either offline or doing other things in the game. If i didn't have one how the hell would i being able to collect them? By hand by myself? I would lose over 70% of them. Hes collecting eggs 24/7
Look I Just Never Use It But I Can See Why Others Would. Also I'm Talking More ASE Here And It Can't Pick Up Eggs In That Game.
I haven't tried it yet myself to see if it works, but fish basket tames could be useful if you are able to catch them with a fishing rod after taming. Assuming it works, if you see a large coelacanth or sabertooth salmon you could catch it and bring it to a better spot where you won't get attacked by wild creatures or have your rod durability wasted on some 0.5x size fish.
The Oviraptor also pickup eggs now. Realy handy as You can go afk or do something else while breeding.
The Dimetrodon is one I always tame. I honestly just prefer to have the Dimetrodon as a ac unit instead of building one and have to use gasoline to run it. Its just what I'm comfortable with. WAS gonna tame one today on the center but, tamed a max level frog with good stats and tamed a modded beetle that requires shooting a gun and impress it, and I also tamed a level 130 female pyromane and a 140 male right after (HARD TAME)
I feel sorry for the pachy and female deer, i love the appearance and idea of the pachy, i think it needs a tlc, along with the deer, seriously, deer kick and bite, why not. Micro, compy, and Arch ive tamed literally only when i come across a cool color and it isnt too big of a pain to stop for it. The Arch ive found somewhat rare, which is annoying, only adding to its uselessness, i play sp so have no need for the oviraptors, but i can understand its usefulness if not on sp
In my opinion eals and phiomia should be there
Phiomia has a use early game on official servers or servers without super boosted rates. It's good for fertilizing crops. Once you have a couple of rexes or other large feces tames and a dung beetle it drops off in usefulness.
Eels I agree.
NOOO NOT THE GALIMINUSOVERLORD
well aCtUalLy dodo gives basic kibble , not simple xD and is very good for bosses to feed daeodon , because it gives insta 100 food to the pig is not overtime 50 food from cooked meat and is goated to eat 200-300 kibbles with the pig during boss to regenmost of the food in 15sec
Yh Sorry
everything here except the oviraptor is an unnecessary tame
Yeah most of these are actually pretty useless, and with the setting I play on they are even worse, the only reason I take them is to get kibbles,or for the achievement
Oviraptor is very useful so it should not be on the list. Any player knows that the egg collection ability is very useful pve or pvp
Yes On ASA!
I agree with most of this list, aside from the oviraptor. They are very useful for egg/kibble farming. Great video, as always!
May Have Made A Mistake...
@@FrappaJacks lol, it's just a matter of preference. I really enjoy your videos!
Thx
I have to just say the oviraptor is the only useful tame there. The rest I agree they suck
There is no way bro said that for number 9💀
I love the galli it easy to tame
The kapro is in the thumbnail
Yh But I Don't Think It's In The 10 Worst Maybe 25 Worst.
Oviraptors help protect from egg-thieves if you have your breeding happening outside ir forget to close the nursery off.
Microraptors are great and ill die on that hill, perfect guards for loot rooms with some troodons. Micros have great accuracy to keep up steady damage whilst the troodons do some torpor hits. I always tame them
Oviraptors are useful for ark mobile for allo kibble since they boost egg production and collects the eggs that I breed up
Clearly, this guy doesn't make kibble if he thinks the oviraptor is useless.
Yup I use mutton or grown veg
Compi has 30% weight reduction on everything
Still
1:56 ima take this out of context
...
Make meglaceros have attack
I’m a rlly big fan!
Thx Sm!
Would be cool if compys had guaranteed triplets everytime they hatch
Maybe
My galli in ark mobile😦
