This is a fantastic review on the breed. I'm not qualified to comment as I have had Staffordshire Bull Terriers for the past 30 years. I would say The English Bull Terrier they are the best out of all the related bull breeds, but the breed being originally bred for dog fights they need training from an early age. They may not go around looking for trouble but they certainly won't back down from it. But all the same you gotta make sure you have a firm grip on them around other dogs. However once they are provoked by another dog, they are literally unstoppable and they will inflict serious injury or even kill their opponent. I'll never forget when black lab was badly mauled by a Miniature Bull Terrier. the scaled down counterpart of the standard size Bull Terrier. I was just overwhelmed that even a miniature Bull Terrier can do a lot of damage. And that is why there are some top notch breeders of English Bull Terriers who won't sell a Bull Terrier to just anyone.

Hi thanks for liking my comment I am looking at getting at puppy from a certified breeder...what would you be your advise please? I have got a Ragdoll cat but I think a puppy can be socialised with my cat Marco ☺ I love Buffy...she is gorgeous
Ensure both parents have got temperaments and are health tested to their breed standard. View the puppies multiple times and ensure the breeder has a socialisation plan in place. If you are able to introduce slowly and careful the cat and dog can be best friends.
I researched like crazy and got an Italian greyhound from champion parents with no health problems. My girl is huge, very tall with heart problems. You've just gotta be lucky! Not that I would trade my dog
I love your honesty Beautiful dog with a bad name because of us humans. You are great and honest. So sad to think what people use them for . Ie fighting. Thank you for your video
My EBT is a little over a year old. They need constant supervision. As you see this dog leaning against the owner. They are very affectionate. Be prepared to give up your personal space. If you don't want a dog in your lap and face all the time I wouldn't suggest this breed. A dog that is for a person who really wants a dog.
That is a really good way to say it: A dog for a person who really wants a dog! My Italian greyhound is in my face all the time. I get annoyed but she's my heart. I SO want a miniature bull terrier-- I want one so bad!
Love this vid. Linda totally knows her stuff and 'tells it as it is'. Contrary to popular believe that they are definitely not monsters. Far from it in my experience. Think its true that once you've had a bullie they soon become the breed of choice. Our boy comes from wonderful stock: fantastic temperament, look. He's been highly socialised from a very young age (best thing we did IMO) - believe he could happily live in a pack of dogs ranging from Rotties to the smallest of dogs. Laughed at the ref to liking the ball/paddling pool...only if the ball belongs to another dog, but prefers the ball thrower! As for the paddling pool...not this one! Very intelligent. Very comical. Very loving and cuddly. But please note: if you want a dog that hangs on your every word/does what its told, emm maybe this breed's not for you as 'training' takes some time and in our case it seems to have been more a case of in for the long haul ha ha! Can't help but love 'em though.
I want to ask about bull terrier. I have a cat, he's 6 years old. I don't know, is it good to get a bull terrier?? I'm not sure is it good for my cat. Will bull terrier hurt him?? Please tell me is this breed good with cats.
We just got our first bull terrier 3 weeks ago... love him to death. Now we want another one so he can have a playmate, I think we got the bug lol Btw, do you sell and ship puppies?
I'm seriously considering a bull terrier but I am a bit concerned with how aggressive they can get with other dogs if not properly socialized. Did any of you BT owners have an easy/hard time getting your bully to play nicely with other dogs? Are females less likely to have this aggressive disposition to other dogs? Please dont be offended by my questions btw I LOVE Bull Terriers (which is why Im considering one) I just want as much feedback as possible from other owners so I make an informed decision. Thanks!
🆘👉🏼This lady is wrong!!!!!! I’ve had Bull Terriors and non of mine coursed a fight. With all pups get them out to meet people and other dogs as we did and they were always be good. Remember if you are not the boss they will be the boss, as my friend did not train her dog or walk it, and the Pit Bull cross ended up being aggressive with other dogs. Dogs are like children they need to be trained and to be showed what is wrong and right. FACT!
The official UK Kennel Club title is "Bull Terrier" and in the UK that is what they are known as but in other countries they are often referred to as "English" Bull Terriers. ( but the title "English Bull Terrier" is often frowned upon in British Bull Terrier circles )
Every single thing she said can be applied to every breed. They all have different personalities and DON'T get one unless you're prepared for it. It's not fair to the dog.
I adopted one of these dogs years ago. His prior owners had tied him to tree in a park & abandon him. I soon found out why. He loved to fight other dogs, the vacuum cleaner & the lawn mower. He was a very gassy dog as well. His smelly farts would peel the paint off the walls. I had to have him readopted by someone else that was much more suited than myself of handling him. Do your research. This breed is definitely not for everyone.
What a shame you had to try to pick up the pieces of his previous terrible owners. Clearly they ruined a potentially beautiful dog. They all respond so well to love, early socialising, good handling, a good home and good food. Yes they can be windy, but as someone else said, feed them well: its cheaper in the long run than getting a Vet to sort out skin and dietary issues which this breed is prone to. Someone should have told you about all this when you re-homed him. Also warned you about their 'love' of the vacuum and mover: ours is exactly the same he's more amusing than scary. What a shame, but thankfully you didn't abandon him too. Hope that dog's been well looked after.
People ruined the Bull Terrier with their absolutely terrible "standards". Look at how the breed was 100 years ago. Much healthier. Same with the English Bulldog
My bully used to love stufed toys - but if you took his stuffed toy and hugged it and pretended to kiss it he'd rip them up as if jealous;y killing a rival.

Thanks very much, that was very informative,i really want2 get 1 thats rescued

Hi I have a 4 year old and I have some questions about him. If you actually read these comments please respond.
Hi do you still sell pups?
I want to ask about bull terrier. I have a cat, he's 6 years old. I don't know, is it good to get a bull terrier?? I'm not sure is it good for my cat. Will bull terrier hurt him?? Please tell me is this breed good with cats.
Meda Zykute if you get him as a puppy he’ll love it
@@alnosaints thank you really much!!!!

i want one so bad,no idea where to look for a certified breeder in my country
Are you in Europe? If you search hard enough you will be able to find a breeder in the UK.
@@djscottfree2008 i am across the pond in the Netherlands
@@willemoranje Great 😊 Should be no problem for you to find one here in the UK and take he or she back to the Netherlands.
We just got our first bull terrier 3 weeks ago... love him to death. Now we want another one so he can have a playmate, I think we got the bug lol
Btw, do you sell and ship puppies?
I also adore Puli dogs
FACT!
So, this isn't an English Bull Terrier??????
The official UK Kennel Club title is "Bull Terrier" and in the UK that is what they are known as but in other countries they are often referred to as "English" Bull Terriers. ( but the title "English Bull Terrier" is often frowned upon in British Bull Terrier circles )

Do bull terriers sell? Or not so popular?
my bt has skin problem , she always bite herself!
"They do things wherever it suits"
That is a bully in a nutshell. Lol
Every single thing she said can be applied to every breed. They all have different personalities and DON'T get one unless you're prepared for it. It's not fair to the dog.
Beautiful girl 🤗
cool
Brilliant dogs av got a miniature and an adult
I adopted one of these dogs years ago. His prior owners had tied him to tree in a park & abandon him. I soon found out why. He loved to fight other dogs, the vacuum cleaner & the lawn mower. He was a very gassy dog as well. His smelly farts would peel the paint off the walls. I had to have him readopted by someone else that was much more suited than myself of handling him. Do your research. This breed is definitely not for everyone.
You were probably feeding it a load of garbage.
@@robclark1000 This. If you don't feed plants there's nothing to ferment and cause gas. Meat, organs and bones is all they need.
People ruined the Bull Terrier with their absolutely terrible "standards". Look at how the breed was 100 years ago. Much healthier. Same with the English Bulldog
Muito bom, gosto muito de Bull terrier e Pit Bull, pena que não entendi nada do que foi falado pois não falo inglês. 😂
These dogs have changed so much over the years the real bull terrier are called gull terr, you can get them from India and some parts of Pakistan

Hi..you,re dog very perfect....
My bullterrier would destroy every single toy, it was like a mission for her, as if i brought an animal to kill :D
GankMan mine too! And they rip off coconuts in a second!
@@sergep8341 Holly crap coconuts? I thought mine was bad about destroying stuff lol
Hello, I invite you to see the Bullterrier figures here ua-cam.com/video/d1hGRVr5LFA/v-deo.html
My bully used to love stufed toys - but if you took his stuffed toy and hugged it and pretended to kiss it he'd rip them up as if jealous;y killing a rival.
Do they have to get there ears clipped?🤯🔫🐕
Hab auch eine qeusse ganz weiß, einquartiert zeitweise,überhaupt wenn sie sich freut .ausgekocht und genau in dem was sie will frech und aufgekocht, 😊,
