    I played around with “3D” photography. The problem was, in order to see the 3D effect, you have to view the images in a specific way. I had an idea to display the photos to show the effect, but never tried it. Thank you for showing me not only that it’s possible, but that it could work. Now I have to revisit the concept.

    Thank you for developing this technique!
    Another thing one can do is to put it in an enlarger, and make a larger reversal print with it (ill try that siometime, i think).

    Great stuff as usual. Since you're such an SX 70 lover, would you test the difference (or provide your insights) between SX 70 film and 600 Polaroid Originals film with ND filter? 600 films come with a lot of more options as for the frame, plus I would have to buy only one kind of films! :) Thanks!

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  5 років тому +1

      hey nicola, i had pretty good results with the on film nd filter, i also used the nd filter from mint but i tend to forget that i had 600 film in the camera and messed up shots like this, so i prefer the on film solution

    In 5:11 I followed your instructions all the way, but then I also get some of the white backing - the chalkiness stuff that hangs on to the photograph 😅 Not sure what I am doing wrong 😅

    • @AnalogThings

      why would you do this? there is not benefit, and you just need to add the nd filter in front of the lightmeter thats it

    Is it possible to transfer itype films to sx70 cartridge, say the rose gold edition film of itype?

    Hallo Marco, hallo liebe Polaroid Community. Leider ist mir ein SX70 Impossible Film in meiner faltbaren SX70 Kamera geplatzt, nun hängt vor allem an den Walzen sowie an der Fotoausgabe Entwicklerflüssigkeit. Habe bereits mit Pinsel und Wattestäbchen schon ordentlich geputzt. Eventuell hatte von Euch jemand schon mal ähnliche Probleme oder weiß wie man die Kamera am besten reinigt ? Hoffe Ihr könnt mir helfen. Viele Grüße, Fabian

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  5 років тому

      Hey Fabian, vielen lieben dank ;) Oh, ja das kann passieren aber ist nicht so schlimm, hast du dir schon mal angeschaut wie man die vordere klappe von der SX-70 runter nehmen kann zur reinigung? sonst hast du eh alles richtig gemacht, wattestäbchen und alkohol und viel detail arbeit, aber das wird schon wieder.

    I just tried this on two images and what happened was that the picture would not come off the developer emulsion. So the front side of the Polaroid with the transparent plastic gloss would come off without the picture. Is this because of a new formula in the film or am I doing something wrong?

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  5 років тому

    I wonder is some Aluminum paper could create similar effect as the LEDs.

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  5 років тому

      no it reflects too much and you need that light from the back, but with one single transparency it looks good with silver behind

  • @_joka9
    @_joka9 5 років тому

    How about adding a mirror in the back, instead of light? ; )

      i have a portrait series where i work with reflective foil in the background, makes it really hard to see something on multilayer, but for single layer it looks amazing
