    Hi! I am just discovering your channel. Today, my grandma has officially been in hospice for 4 days. She is not eating or drinking as of today. This may be the beginning of the end. I have been off UA-cam for quite a few weeks and am trying to distract myself with creativity and using my instant cameras. I thought it was pure coincidence that I came across this specific video on such a day that I am experiencing. I hope you and your family are well, and thank you for sharing.

    Hi there!
    Thanks a lot for the videos you make, they are amazing! I’m kind exploring the analog stuff now and I love it!
    This year I would like to see more videos about the Instax films (if it would be possible). Although I like Polaroid, I only have an Instax Mini and would love to know what I can do with it!
    PS: I really like your channel! Thank you for your dedication to us (even when you are not in the best mood...) I’m praying for you and your family (your grandpa in particular)! Hope everything goes well and the New Year smiles to you!
    Thank you!

    I second the comments so far given; you do a great job of bringing forward creativity with photography, and it's very clear done.
    Wish you all the best with your grandfather, and yourself.
    I have also a question, please.
    I found a Polaroid Autofocus 5000 on my parents attic; what, current, film will that accept?
    Is that with inbuilt battery?
    Thanks a bunch, Marco.

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  6 років тому +1

      +Ro Rebbel Hey Ro, thanks for your words. The 5000 takes SX-70 film and also has it included in the film, so you could just start away with it ;) you could also use 600 film with an ND filter on it, but not sure if PO is still selling it.

    Love the geometric form! Would it be cheating if I say I recently got a Fujifilm SP-3 that prints on their square film? haha what I would do is take a polaroid photo, then scan/photograph it and re-print before I would cut it 😅 Hope your Grand pa feels better. Love your channel and best wishes for 2018 😄

    Sorry to hear about your grandpa, hope he is alright.
    I really enjoyed your video, but I have a question: isn't it dangerous to cut the polaroid films because of the chemicals? Or does it depend on the film type? In that case, do you know if it is dangerous to cut the instax mini film?

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  6 років тому

      When you cut the image it's already developed so the chemicals are dry in the film, as long as you dont lick it you should be fine

    Hey, Marko! Do you know how many pictures you can take with a impossible/Polaroid originals battery? I want to buy I type film, and transfer the negatives to a 600 pack to save a few dollars. Do you have any idea how many times it will work before the battery dies? Thanks!

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  6 років тому

      +Zach Mueller I can't tell you an exact number, but if you are not using flash with every image they can go for a pretty long time. Also with flash you should be able to go through a few packs of film with one battery.

    Hello,
    What happens if you use Polaroid Originals to do this? Would the image/chemicals later dissolve or act weird since you are cutting it?

    • @AnalogThings
      @AnalogThings  6 років тому +2

      no it would work perfect, just let the image dry first. so wait about 1-2 days after you took the image
