I remember hearing Ravi Shankar for the first time, and loved it, and hearing how technical the Sitar is, i was longing for a metal band to get their hands on a Sitar.
Little did I know like 3 years later this band would form and start a sub genre that I cant be more happier exists now
They didn't form or start this. Despite their claims, they are not the first to do this. There was a band in the late 90s, from Pennsylvania, that did prog metal with the sitar as the main instrument.
That's what happens when a die hard metalhead tries to play Indian Classical music...just beauty 🤘🔥❤
