Jesus' kingship well explained by Bishop Greg, and a great reminder to us to reflect on how we have related to Jesus' kingship the past year.
Looking forward to choral mass in St Carthages Cathedral.

YOU TUBE... Could you please avoid trying to add advertisements while we are watching online recorded Mass. So disrespectful. I can understand ads in other You Tube videos but not one where one is attending Mass. Thank you 🙏

I got multiple ads as well, the last right in the middle of the Holy Eucharist. This is completely disrespectful. I never would have thought UA-cam would infringe on prayer. I'm trying to figure out how to report this to them, but can't think of anything.

I sent 'feedback' goodness knows if it'll reach them.

Every now and then UA-cam will bombard particular viewers with ads to push them towards UA-cam Premium, their paid ad-free service.
One method to mitigate the ads is to sign up to UA-cam, which is still free, but the trade-off is that UA-cam will start to collect data about what you're watching, and then will run tailored ads before the video runs, but you can skip the ads after the first five seconds.
We do not monetise our videos, so do not receive any income from ad revenues. We're constantly monitoring UA-cam's behaviour, and if this pattern continues then we will move to a platform more sympathetic to our requirements.

@@LismoreDioceseAU Thank you for monitoring that. I've sent them feedback, but who knows if they'll listen. I was signed in, but that might not matter, as a while ago they made a splash forcing adds on their uploaders' videos which were more than 10 minutes or so long. They had exempted your videos from this rule until now - I don't know how - but this week it seems they put you back in their algorithm.
Hopefully they flag your channel correctly moving forward, because they ruined the beautiful moment of reflection you created. Thank you for all of the work you put in by the way; I finally found a parish that resonates with me. Something you might try as a back up is Odysee. It takes less than 5 minutes to link your youtube channel, and it'll duplicate all of the videos you currently have - plus any video you upload to youtube moving forward, without any further work on your part.
      Thanks again!

I was raised Roman Catholic and did not hear the gospel until I was in my 20s. By God’s grace and sovereignty I am a Christ follower (Reformed Baptist) and wanted to share with you folks in love and respect and biblical truth there are numerous falsehoods taught in the Catholic Church that are the antithesis of scripture. While God does not speak audibly to people anymore, as we have the completed Old and New Testaments.
Mary herself was not sinless and even stated her need for a savior in Luke 1:47. We are to pray to God ALONE as Christ followers (Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 6:6, Jeremiah 33:3, 1 Timothy 2:5).
Purgatory does not exist, as this was later added in the book of Maccabees, which is not the Bible. When you die, you go to one of 2 places, heaven or hell (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 21, Romans 6:23)
We are not to call anyone in church leadership ‘Father’. (Matthew 23:9)
We are not to carve or design statues of Jesus or the apostles (Exodus 20:4-5, Leviticus 26:1, Psalm 115:4-8).
In addition to these, there is not a single reference in the Bible of holy water, alter boys, rosaries, venial sin, or mortal sin.
We are saved by grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ Jesus alone (Ephesians 2). Apart from that, we’re not dying in sin, we are dead in sin.
I sincerely pray in God’s will that you’ll not take my mere word for it, but go to the verses that I shared.
