I would say arcane is the best animated show I have seen perhaps barring avatar, but even then its still really close different audiences this is definitely targeted towards an older one. You should watch it.

But it's a beautifully emotional story & an animation masterpiece beloved by most who see it, nonetheless! The same applies to Arcane. Arcane hits different in a complicated emotional way, but also in an amazing way!

You're gonna fall in love with the artstyle of Arcane, story and raw non sugar coded reality of this world. You should absolutely watch it, but that being said... Arcane would break you, chew you out crushing your heart in the process feeding you one singular candy in beetween, then leave You crying in a ditch. You are gonna love the show, I am positive about that, but seeing your reation to other shows, You need to prepare yourself mentally for this absolute shitshow of emotional damage.
Arcane is incredible, genuinely the best animated series out there imo, it's also the backstory of several league characters so you don't need to know anything abt the game cause the games aren't actually canon they just have lore for all the characters, there's no actual league in runeterra (their world) where all these people fight, there used to be but it got retconned, it's also relatively short compared to other shows you've reacted to, it's split into 3 acts with 3 40 minute episodes per act so 6 hours for the 1st season EDIT: Also yes you've picked up on the steampunk vibes in the music, Vi (one of the central characters) Was made in 2012 and was peak steampunk era

Absolutely you should watch arcane! It slays, but can get pretty intense. Absolute masterwork of animation. It’s broken up into 3 parts 3 episodes a piece there’s a lot to breakdown per part so that could be a good way to break up videos!

Big ups for watching the show. The less you know the better. A lot of emotional beats that will definitely tear you to shreds in the best ways. I always rated Last Airbender as the best animated show but this is a masterclass that easily surpasses it in every way without being too high concept. If you do decide to watch it though, if you're not doing episode by episode I recommend doing it in 3 episode binges. It's how it was released week over week initially and effectively addresses each act of the show beautifully. It's very carefully crafted and couldn't recommend I more. All the best Bill ❤️

You know how some movies and shows just push the medium forward? Like, say, Into The Spider-Verse, and how it became a benchmark for stylised CG action? Well, I think Arcane is one of those shows, and will be a high-water mark for both its animation/artistic quality and its writing for quite some time to come.
Oh man, a reaction to the show would be amazing. It's seriously one of the best animated shows I've ever seen. They spent 6 years producing it, and it really shows in the quality of the art and animation. And all the characters are so well-realized, so nuanced and multifaceted. There are a few major plot threads that all intersect, and several characters all with their own agendas and ideologies, and everything comes together so beautifully. And as others have said, you don't need to know anything about League of Legends to understand it, and it's honestly not really anything like the game. Also, the music is incredibly well done. The songs were written specifically for the show, and the lyrics in a lot of them are pretty on-the-nose for how they're used in the show, so I'm not surprised Bill was able to fairly accurate get the gist of things from just them, but of course they're even more effective with the full context of the show to go with them.

I just started Arcana and it's fantastic, coming from someone who knows 0 about League! If you ever wanna go back to music, I highly recommend The Amazing Devil! The songs The Horror and the Wild, Blossoms, Farewell Wanderlust, and Drinking Song For the Socially Anxious!

It is AMAZING just how much of the story Bill was able to piece together from just listening to the soundtrack (with zero prior knowledge of the story or lore). Brings me back to the indisputable fact that Arcane is literally a masterpiece in every respect and extreme attention to detail on every aspect is paid (even to how the different characters walk down stairs differently and in their own way...) throughout literally every second of every episode.

Big ups for watching the show. The less you know the better. A lot of emotional beats that will definitely tear you to shreds in the best ways. I always rated Last Airbender as the best animated show but this is a masterclass that easily surpasses it in every way without being too high concept. If you do decide to watch it though, if you're not doing episode by episode I recommend doing it in 3 episode binges. It's how it was released week over week initially and effectively addresses each act of the show beautifully. It's very carefully crafted and couldn't recommend I more. All the best Bill ❤️

You know how some movies and shows just push the medium forward? Like, say, Into The Spider-Verse, and how it became a benchmark for stylised CG action? Well, I think Arcane is one of those shows, and will be a high-water mark for both its animation/artistic quality and its writing for quite some time to come.
Oh man, a reaction to the show would be amazing. It's seriously one of the best animated shows I've ever seen. They spent 6 years producing it, and it really shows in the quality of the art and animation. And all the characters are so well-realized, so nuanced and multifaceted. There are a few major plot threads that all intersect, and several characters all with their own agendas and ideologies, and everything comes together so beautifully. And as others have said, you don't need to know anything about League of Legends to understand it, and it's honestly not really anything like the game.
Also, the music is incredibly well done. The songs were written specifically for the show, and the lyrics in a lot of them are pretty on-the-nose for how they're used in the show, so I'm not surprised Bill was able to fairly accurate get the gist of things from just them, but of course they're even more effective with the full context of the show to go with them.
I’d love to see your thoughts and reaction on the show. Even though I myself know nothing of legue of legends, I found Arcane to be one of the most well-written stories I’ve seen. Definitely looking forwards your content regarding this show!

This show is definitely more intense than other shows you’re watched on this channel, as in the themes are heavy from the start without cute songs/jokes to soften them, but I would still 100% rec it, even if not for the channel

Arcane might definitely be one of, if not, the BEST animated series I've ever watched. Everything about it is just so masterfully done, from the art, music, characterization, plot lines, character dynamics, themes, everything is a masterpiece. I went into this blind, 0 expectations, 0 ideas on what it was about, and I had such a great time. Absolutely fell in love within the first few seconds

I would definitely recommend watching it, even if you don't do a reaction video. It was brilliant and so worth watching, even if you have never played or know anything about League Of Legends. Speaking as someone who has watched the series, you nailed the analysis on these songs with a surprising amount of accuracy.

I've been watching your channel for a while and I think it's amazing how good you have gotten at analysing and break down of music.
It is AMAZING just how much of the story Bill was able to piece together from just listening to the soundtrack (with zero prior knowledge of the story or lore).
Brings me back to the indisputable fact that Arcane is literally a masterpiece in every respect and extreme attention to detail on every aspect is paid (even to how the different characters walk down stairs differently and in their own way...) throughout literally every second of every episode.
