Its a tree frog he was sticking
like glue to the sides waiting to steal a meal. And he was getting some shade..
DaaaahWhoosh That frog is living the thug life.
He was 3 parallel universes ahead of the other frogs, the plant would attract insects and he would eat them with almost no effort.
2:24 RIP to the tiny cameraman who gave his life for this shot.
Lol😎😎
LMAO!!!! 😂
I smell whoosh

Cameramans can't die until they have their camera.
"Animals don't eat it, it eats animals! And there's one right here!" *Dives into grass*
Looking for plant type pokemon.
What is not shown: There was actually an earthquake and Attenborough was crouching for cover. They forgot to cut that part out.
I was waiting for a big mouth to close around him.
“Technically I am an animal too, let’s see if he’s feeling hungry shall we?!”
*shoves face in it*
Not funny
That frogs looks stoned as hell

"you don't want to sell me drugs....and you want to go home and rethink your life.."
👋
that comment reminded me of Felix's "hey, you wanna came in?" From skz
3:18 yep, that was me, you are probably wondering "how did i end up in that situation?"
"lets just say i slipped and fell and ended up in there"
Wondering*
sounds like something the deadpool would say if it were a frog.
They all float down here!
Joseph Sanchez haha i got the reference
And you will too!
IT
"Kiss me, FAT BOY!!!"
I mean, that is an accurate description. At first.
I need a gif of David just descending into the grass lol
You just gave me a good idea

Plant : mission abort nectar wasted .
Frog to camera man: Bro you’re gonna blow my cover
The Frog: I wasn't that drunk guys
Other Frogs: Bruh! you were hunting for prey inside a trap.
The frog is quite literally living on the edge
Attenborough is one of the reasons I've became interested in nature.
Always loved his programs.
That frog at the end was literally camping in the carnivorous flower
Do u like playing LiLi??
did he just eat the nectar off a pitcher??
Yeah, he better be careful. Might fall in.
Richard Lane It's nectar. You can buy agave nectar as a sweetener. Yum.
FlintSparked I like how your response got way more likes than the original comment
Richard Lane yup
The first sarracenia I bought I did this too it tastes quite nice and they Snell like lillies

Now if only the ants could hear the ominous music playing in the background, they might find out something isn't right and get away with their lives.
0:08 Sir David : WATCH
Me: WATCHED him smile.
Plant: finally, a insect
Frog: OUR Incect
i'm wearing headphones and those buzzing flies scared me lol
The first time I've ever seen the narrator in person!
The Inverted Drone same here.I been hearing is voice since I was little watching documentaries.
he was interviewed on vsauce go watch it
Doubt it. I'm sure you've seen him in Jurassic Park.
@@ShaneBales That's his brother Richard Attenborough, not David.
Really? I can only assume that you don't watch many nature shows! Most people that know anything about nature could pick Mr. David Attenborough out in a crowd! And now, so can you!
Bruh this man is so unbelievably wholesome-looking
Edit:
“But if an insect strays into the mouth of the trap, then.. it’s doomed. *smiles* “
Attenborough has such a calming voice. He made watching Blue Planet and Planet Earth documentaries a pleasant experience. Love any nature doc where he or Sigourney Weaver are the narrators. Wasn't a big fan of Oprah for "Life".
David Attenborough's voice is the British equivalent of Morgan Freeman
Nunya Bizness nah Morgan Freeman is the American David Attenborough
-Georgie - Okay but I wasn't the one who compared Attenborough to Freeman.
Lol what? Oprah is great.
@@mvrdamonxy7942 no she's not.
This series is what first introduced me to Attenborough at age 4 or 5 and cemented my lifelong interest and passion for ecology and science.
Gotta catch that Victreebel
Indeed
See vegans even plants eat meat
LOLZ
Hahahaha
😂😂😂😂
You mean it?
Best comment 😂😂
*Attenborough got some brave volunteers*
Why do I find it hilarious to watch the insect just fall?
***** This.
...yeah shame on me it makes me laugh too .x.
Perhaps because you may also think shooting anamals is fun!
nightlightabcd yea
Maybe because your union fell LALOL
2:20 the camera is inside the plant ???
Stereotypical Beach-Looking Guy, I wondered about that too. I think they drilled a hole in the plant and drove a camera in from the bottom (one of those small ones, that are used for exploring the digestive tract, for example).
“This is the BBC, people. They have footage of the inside of your face” -zefrank
don't worry, the plant consented
@Dimetrodon 22 LMAO
The camera fell in. Those were pictures from moments before it was digested
His voice is legendary
“Here comes a meal”
-Excuse me, my name is Jerry
3:15 **horror ambience as camera zooms in on frog**
2:16 wow. BBC literally stuck a camera inside of a pitcher plant.
LOVED this video! First of all BBC is awesome and second I love carnivorous plants!! Mr. Attenborough...Great job again!!! Thank you!
One of the most beautiful videos ever shot! A mainstay of videos on carnivorous plants! Superb! Mister Attenborough, a true gentleman. Congratulations! Andrea Amici
His voice is beautiful, love him.
I adore his voice.
So soothing
David Attenborough makes everything so interesting and exciting
David attenborough like 94 now and still doing his thing god bless him
0:13 his smile tho-
........then a shot from INSIDE the trumpet showing the trap's POV. Ahhh classic Dave
Attenborough right there. Looks young too.
3:00 Oh no! My friend fell into that plant! I gotta go! *runs and falls straight into another one*
First class footage and specially composed music, all highly inventive.
These insects are so dumb, they don’t hear the ominous music
That's a brave frog...🐸🐜
Nature is so Amazing!
I like how these are a novelty to most people. There are pitcher plants and sun dews growing in the woods right behind my house.
Attenborough: the man who feeds off death nectar
Always enjoy his narration.
and this my friends, is how a cliff hanger is done
For some reason this is really really really really satisfying for me
For many years, I have always followed your interesting science. You are a genius
I didn't know about this nectar, this is very interesting !
This Mans been old since forever.
Frog be like: Mistakes were made.
its 4 am and im watching plant videos, Best way to spend my night
The trumpet pitchers have an almost sci-fi feeling to them, facsinating.
Natural sounds r really pleasant... awesome video
This guy is great. I watch him prior to sleep 😴 soothing voice 🎤
And the award for the best guest appearance in a UA-cam video goes to the frog.
that frog just chillin
Thank you sir...
David Attenborough can make anything interesting
ADOREABLE MOTHER NATURE AND SIR ATTEN AND KUDOS TO THE CAMERAMAN .
Salutes to BBC cameraman 👍👍👍
Sarracenia Flava & Sarracenia Minor are two trumpet plants filmed, Dionaea Muscipula (Venus Flytrap) all native to Northeast to Southeast United States and one species native to Northern California is the Darlingtonia California (Cobra Lilly) they don't produce their own enzymes unlike there cousins the Sarracenias they used bacteria of previous meals to break down and then adsorbed by the plant.
ones the bbc did not filmed or forgot was some Pinguiculas (butterworts), Droseras (Sundews), and Utricularia (Bladderworts).
missionbears games they need a part 2 then
@@mraylopez79 nepenthes, heliamphora, and cephalotus
I was hiking through marshland that was filled with short pitcher plants. There were so many you couldn't help but step on them. They made a disturbing "splorch" sound when crushed.
3:09 me when i fall off the bed
LOVE david
Your amazing videos are mesmerizing and gives insight into the subject
perfect video for spooktober
the little sound it makes when the bugs fall into the pitcher is hilarious
This video = nostalgia.
David descending into the grass fits the vine format perfectly.
Amazing, fascinating
Love BBC Earth. Wish America had something like it
My man Attenborough! Eating straight nectar like a gangster yo.
That little ant scream 3:12

Great background music
That frog was straight creepin lol
That frog is planning something I can tell
We need Sir David to live forever!
OMG these trompets are GIANT! I grow some fly trap plants myself at home and oh boy, to get some 5 feet tall trompets is my new life goal
Attenborough is fearless. Swipes the plant and locks his finger. “Sweet nectar”. No way I’m doing that
Great video
like his voice
Thankyou sir you had given me much more knowledge than all my teachers combined
I used hate jionist Britain but I like your voice very much. God bless you

This is what they call a horror movie in A Bug’s Life. “NO! DON’T GO IN THERE!”
When Sir David Attenborough turned into Sokka!
These carnivorous plants are cool mannn😍😍😍
