@hansgrohe Hello I've got a few questions, how to find out the right cartridge to but if the shower set is matt black and not branded or has no model number? where do you buy the tool to take the cartridge out? also how do you line the new cartridge to set the right temperature. At this point, i might buy a brand new one.
The heat control does not stay in place and keeps turning to hotter all the time. Apparently this thermostat part needs to be replaced. Until now, the spray bottle has been kept hanging over the regulator and it has restrained the movement of the regulator. 😀

Heres what I did If you can not pull it off then use a piece of wood against the long bar (the bit you use to turn on and off tne wood is so you don't damage the cap) Gentle use a hammer and hit the wood it should pop off the cap No need to hit it hard. When refitting cap, line it up push cap back on, if need be use palm tl give it a tap Should pop ba k on don't need to use hammer when refitting caps Hope this helps
@@charlb3332 glad it helped Mine was stuck tight after 6 years of use, originally I thought there maybe a grub screw holding it on, especially since I couldn't get it to move Some taps have a crub screw under the bar which slides in and out So finding out it was just a push fit told me it needed a knocking stick (hammer) to ease it off Thank god for UA-cam, and helpful folk on there In the old days would have visited a DIY store, and look at similar product to see how the cap was removed

It is impossible to find compatibility information on which cartridges fit. Ordering online is a nightmare!

The grease has to be added to the rubber o-rings of the new cartridge
I need to change the cartridge on the left side. The shower is too stiff to come on. Is it the same procedure?

I believe you have to if not you'll have a water coming out!

I pull it but it doesn’t come off. Couldn’t figure out how to take the cap off. Any help will appreciated
Same for me, I cannot take the cap off at the very beginning, is there any tip in doing so, a specific position of the cap or similar thing? Thanks!
Heres what I did
If you can not pull it off

No need to hit it hard.

Why is mine stuck? I can't pull it out as you do at 20 seconds (in the clip). Mine is just stuck in there. It won't budge.

А так удалить известь кислотой и смазать несмываемой смазкой.
