Craig, I appreciate your videos and the work that goes into them. I did Mac stuff for a living for 15 years, and back then I was up to date on everything. But these days I do web dev and music, and while I don't have time to read a million different Apple websites, I do have time to watch your channel. And I think you do a great job of summarizing the important stuff.
Thanks for the nice words and for watching the channel. I enjoy making them and I learn quite a bit myself. Thanks again for the feedback on the videos.
I heard so many times some random rumor website saying "wait for the next product because it's gonna be better" The few times I did I regretted it. Now I simply buy a product when I need it.
I’m hoping that lg 6k tb5 is 120hz and has a 3 year warranty? It’s definitely has the best bezels premium design I’ve see so far, and that includes Apple and dell asus who they make screens for.
As I was listening to your comments about the glowing Apple watch band, it reminded me of the glowing watch faces we had when I was growing up. They glowed because they were radioactive! I think I had a pair of Roy Rogers spurs that did the same thing. Who knew? I prefer Dr. Pepper.
Tea is better for you for sure... But I think Pepis Zero is the best by far if you keep drinking it for like a week. Initially it takes a little time to get used to it. But this isn't a commercial for it as it's better to drink water or tea for sure...
I'm a coffee, tea and water person. I avoid drinking sugar as much as possible. I don't care as much about the chip as much as the form factor. An large iMac would be great. Getting rid of the notch would be great. 17 inch 4k screen would be great.
I am very interested in the new 6K LG 32 inch screen. Likely very pricey but will undercut anything Apple does. Curious to see if Apple upgrades its monitors this year; they are overdue for a refresh.
The Whoosh Cleaner which I use to clean my screens so far has been THE BEST ONE out of the other cleaners I have used. It's well worth it in my opinion!
If it’s 120 6k 3 year warranty hub kvm Picture in Picture etc, and there are no other 6k 120hz monitors, I’ll consider it. Right now it looks better than even Apple design. But rumor is Apple has some coming and this might just be the panel of the rumored iMac Pro 32” and 6k studio display, tb5 and 120hz?
The topic list with "Satechi's Mac mini M4 Stand & Hub arrives soon" got my attention but didn't find it after the Woosh discussion. I'll look again to find it.
Hey Craig! Did you sneak in a couple of Brewskis before the video? I'm wondering if anyone can tell the difference between titanium and aluminum. Thanks for the stories!
careful what you wish for... i've not seen a single good OLED monitor. The way text is rendered on the odd subpixel layouts is infuriating. Its fine for video content on a tv, but for productivity i can't see it working unless they've found a panel that gets rid of those issues without increasing pixel density which is the current way to mitigate
@@danieldevine I doubt Apple will release MacBook Pros that display blurry text considering how important the quality of text is for people like software developers. How is the quality of text on the new IPad Pros that use dual oled panels?
@@SunsetNova its decent, however its a different ui design that only caters to a select few screen resolutions that can't be changed. It's already not ideal when rendering at anything other than 2x, so an even higher resolution display option with true 2x would be ideal.
I've waited 2 years to replace my 2017 iMac with the 5k 27" screen. So today I took the plunge: ordered the Mac Mini M4 Pro with the Studio Display. NOW I hear of a new iMac Pro with maybe a 32" built in... but on the positive side, it'll be 2026

I don’t want to suffer from the inevitable early pains of Apple’s Thinness Revolution II, so I will probably get an MBP M4 Pro 16” before that happens. Screen is good enough and I don’t care that much about the notch.
Notch is not a deal killer, but is a little annoying at times. For me, mainly notice when using the menu bar. Do not see need for thinner computer. Would rather use current real estate for more connectivity and swappable NVMe drive. Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
Thank you! Would like to put in a request for a new usb-c and thunderbolt hubs overview. I'm in need of one switching from an i7 to the M4 Mac Mini. Take care!
