    Can you do a follow up video to the wind noise you experience before and after putting the tape in?

      @@TheDrivewayConcierge I will post some pictures on the rivian forums soon with the spots i covered. Basically I used this and the Draft Seal self adhesive strip across all 4 doors (both inside and outside frames), across the top of the windshield and the sides. This trim lock (6mm or other sizes) can also be used in the windows close to the 3rd row, as well as right above the top of the flap on the outside of all 4 doors. Hamdan had posted on this as well, on the forums, if you wanted to dig a bit deeper.
      Next on my list is to identify and cover wheel well with dynamat (or similar), as that definitely is a lot of noise. There was a recent post by someone (under the 19.04 OTA update thread) around sound proofing the area in/around the AC and air compressor. Once some details are available around that, I'm going to do the same as well.

      Yes, had the noise on my R1T. It sounded like the driver window was cracked. After installing this problem resolved.

    Could you not utilize some black weatherproof caulking to fix that area as well?

    • @ElectrifiedOutdoors
      @ElectrifiedOutdoors  4 місяці тому

      Caulking would probably work but it's messy and not as easy to remove.

    Any chance you would mail me 6 inches of that so I don’t have to buy a 25’ roll? 😀

    Can installing this cause any damage or issues to the vehicle? And are you able to put this on other parts of the vehicle? Or is it just limited to this area? Thanks!

    • @ElectrifiedOutdoors
      @ElectrifiedOutdoors  5 місяців тому

      Should not cause any damage to the vehicle. Its a foam rubber piece and can be removed without doing any damage to the vehicle. Yes, could possibly be used on other parts of the vehicle as well...just need to make sure it is secure otherwise it might blow out or interfere with drainage locations.
