In 2018 the Washington Capitals made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They took down the Columbus Blue Jackets in six games, four of them being overtime games. The Capitals then advanced to play the Pittsburgh Penguins and after years of anguish, finally advanced passed the second round and into the Eastern Conference Finals. The Washington Capitals had not made it that far in the playoffs since 1998. The Caps faced the Tampa Bay Lightning in the ECF and went through a grueling 7 game series. Of that series, the Caps won the first two games and lost the next three, which made games 5 and 7 elimination games if the Caps had lost. The Capitals prevailed and flew to Vegas to play the first year expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights, in the Stanley Cup Final. And the rest was history...

How sweet was this knowing this was probably least talented squad in the last 10 years. But the best TEAM we had. Everyone just did their job.
I still get chills at the beginning when he says "theres just a different mentality, a different look this season."
That save by Holtby at 2:42 shows why he is one of the best goalies in the NHL. Look at how he waits for the shooter to take his shot before he reacts. Then look at how close the shooter is. It’s amazing because so many goalies make the fatal error of reacting 1st then the shooter picks his spots. Simply amazing

yeah I moved to CO last year after 30+years in DC and one guy was like, "Don't the Caps win all the time?" I proceeded to educate him on the historical pain and why I cried for an hour after they won and why I haven't taken off my Stanley Cup Champs hat since I got it in the mail a week later.

Try going in order. you had a clip during game 4 then jumped back to game 2 and it wasnt not in order. The timing was all off.

Why do you jump between games in the series? The timeline is off
Michael Forman maybe one game in the blue jackets series but the rest is in chronological order
