The first bunch of ads have been recorded in the ATV region from the pre-Christmas period of 1981. Mid-way through, there's adverts, and part of an ITN bulletin with John Suchet, from the autumn of 1980. Breaks from Christmastime 1984 also feature towards the end.
I was just going to say that the last 13/14 minutes of this video are ads from Christmas 1984! Cos I remember that was when my family first had a video recorder! I was 8 at the time and remember that Barclay’s super savers club advert being on the ads for Star Wars, which we taped!!!!
Courage with Chas & Dave. Gary Myers played the Milk Tray Man from 1968-1984. Paper Mate voiced by Frank Muir. Seiko Watches voiced by Michael Jayston. Great Woollies ad with Bill Oddie / Windsor Davies / Don Estelle / Anita Harris / Tim Brook-Taylor. Vauxhall with Barry Took. Pils with Donald Pleasance. William Smith guesting in Hawaii Five-0. Think the ITN newsreader's name is Alastair Stewart. Midland Bank sounds like Richard Briers. Benson & Hedges music played by Jacques Loussier Trio.

@ Garethbramley1: The newscaster is actually John Suchet, Gareth.
Thanks. Wasn't sure, hence me saying 'I think'. 😁
