I'm sure I would agree with your observations in your new book. I agree with everything you say in this video. Good luck with the book. Eye-catching cover. Good title. It's all coming out now about Covid and the ridiculous lockdown. My debut novel is being republished soon by another publisher who are actually going to market it, then follow it up with the rest of the trilogy. My username has been changed back to 1990 with a few characters. I am the same Nick.
Liberty, Property and Markets: A Critique of Libertarianism Daniel Attas London, U.K.: Routledge (2005) Abstract: "Libertarianism attempts to establish a set of property rights as a complete political morality, its argument proceeding from liberty tout court, as the unique foundational aspect of well-being that grounds rights. In this book, Attas presents a sympathetic reconstruction of the libertarian argument and then brings to bear a critical evaluation leading to an ultimate rejection of libertarianism. Exposing the limitations of libertarianism and disclosing its errors, Attas argues that the rights which libertarians adopt with respect to persons, natural resources, and products are indefensible given what liberty must be."
Yeah it was amazing how people capitulated, only to realize later that we were conned. Some still refuse to acknowledge their error, I guess once you have immersed yourself in foolishness it is easier to continue than to admit your folly. I think Mark Twain said something pithy (and better) along those lines.
I'm going to print in a month or so, so I understand how much it takes to do something like this. So congrats on going to print! Just ordered a copy.
Thank you very much! Let me know when your book comes out.
