    Very well explained, I have a query, exactly how much time does it take the syrup to come to 1 thread consistency after the first boil as I want to make mysore pak

      Depends on the quantity of sugar you are using 😊 i would suggest you start checking from the 2nd min once your sugar dissolves and has begun to thicken if you are a beginner.

    Thanks for this video. What if I have 2 string consistency and want 1 string? Do I need to throw away my sugar syrup and try again anew or can I rescue the same. Thanks

      Unfortunately it can't be reversed... And I don't think you should take that risk too... But you can use the syrup to make a sweet that calls for two string consistency..

      The time depends on your flame. But you need to start testing 3 mins after the sugar has dissolved fully

    One more Q, I made mysore pak & it turned out a bit grainy.. Like biting sugar crystals... Not smooth.. So what exactly happened.. I did get the 1 thread consistency with 1 cup sugar & a quarter cup water.. Please Help😒

      It's recommended that you wet the finger slightly before testing

    What do we do if the sugar syrup gets more thickened???
