I rememeber my buddy showing me these guys cause he found the debut album as a "featured new release" at Zia Records. He tried showing me Wait and Bleed, and that song didint' catch me at first. He played the album, and when i heard "[sic]" I was instantly sold. Led to like 10 years of consecutive slipknot shows in my town, learning all their shit on my instrument, and still here to today listening to this album AGAIN. good shit.
Same here. Heard it late on A Saturday night on 107.7 the X in Birmingham and was blown away. Then found out they were going to be there playing a show a couple months later with coal chamber and drain STH. Needless to say I was there. My god it was something to behold seeing slipknot live at little tiny 5 points south music hall. That was 25 years ago now.
