Description: This webinar opens with an overview of the demographics of older adults in the United States and numbers currently being served by state mental health systems. The webinar then introduces possible intervention points for services for older adults with serious mental illness. It focuses on the coordination of such services within and across regions of a state and how to fund coordination and discusses the process to determine need for a specific intervention, as well as how to plan, enact, and fund interventions for older adults with serious mental illness. This webinar also covers older adult services within the crisis system, illustrated by examples from Oregon.
