I did not hear the question posed to any of the homeless interviewed: "What do you want to happen to help yourself live sheltered & safely?" I would love to hear what they say. A wise person once said, "Don't take away my hope! If you take away that, you take everything." Hope gives us a reason to live, whether we are money rich or not. The one young man who has a plan to live on a houseboat... he has a hope.

"tough love" without any love. Forcing people to move without viable places to go solves nothing and causes additional problems. When multiple people tell you a tent is better than the shelter, you should probably listen.

This episode was incredible, and just one of the reasons why I love Colorado’s PBS team

People need AFFORDABLE HOMES and a way to make DECENT money to live ! Free mental healthcare wouldn't hurt 😢

It seems that police officers are trying their best to behave properly when they are being recorded, but they may be unable to see the actual problems that need to be addressed. Homelessness has become a problem that police need to deal with, but they require better policies and partnerships to do so. Some departments do not even have a clear definition of what homelessness is, nor do they have data on how to effectively help people who are living on the streets. Unfortunately, simply throwing money at the issue in the same way that it has been done in the past has only led to an increase in homelessness.

It's a sad situation when every thing you own gets thrown away tents sleeping bags, blankets, clothes, food etc. It puts these people in a position of hopelessness I'm sure if they looked to see what's done for the homeless in other parts of the country they would be more likely to help them rather than give them 24 hours to relocate in a state of hopelessness

How about a little neighborhood with tiny homes? These tickets are just a slap in the face. It’s sad once you hit rock bottom pretty sure almost impossible to get back up on your own.

When I first got here I felt bad for them. I was able to work 3 jobs at one point. Homelessness is a choice here.
