I noticed you mention taking the brake cable bracket off, but you don't mention it again until it's back on and you didn't show installing it other than tightening it in place. ???

When you measure from center of wheel in front left tire to front right tire you nmeasure the distance. what should that distance be with the tire size you have on (I have the same tire/wheel setup) . I need a reference length
We no longer have this cart in inventory to measure it. Regardless of the exact number, you will want the front measurement to be 1/8" shorter than the measurement you get when you measure the back of the front tires. The tires will point slightly towards each other in the front of the cart when it is not moving. When you drive, they will open up slightly and drive straight.
RHOX Garage Thanks! Another question, I have a different type of shock absorber which screws in to the plate vs going in the socket then getting screwed in from the side. Will it have any performance effects if we put the old stock shock plate on top of the spring and put the new one under?
Hi Zach, Prior to 3/5/13, the RXV had the eyelet style shock. After had the post style. You can modify the shock mount plate by cutting off the "ears" and one hole.
As long as the riser block is firmly seated in the cradle, you should be fine. The wider leg of the riser will go towards the front of the cart. The only other thing that can make it seem taller is the thickness of the rear leaf springs. The more leaves the higher it will sit. Oh yes, the front is much wider than the rear now. I have flair extensions on my cart, before the lift kit was installed the front and rear were within the the extensions, now the front tires are well outside the extensions and the rear are the same as before the lift kit (obviously, because the rear axle was not extended out like the front spindle).
I just received and installed this lift kit today. Thanks to this video it was a breeze. My only issue is the brake line relocation bracket looks identical to the old bracket. I replaced it with the new one anyways but it seems a little unnecessary. Can you tell me why this would be?
The bracket that came with the lift kit is slightly taller than the OE bracket, moving the cable farther away from the hub. If the OE bracket is installed, parts will interfere with each other during installation.
Other than it being taller, you shouldn't see that much of a difference as you are only replacing the spindles. Now, if any of the suspension parts are worn or damaged, the lift kit can exemplify those issues.
I took it for a spin today and it rides great. It really smooth out the bumps in the road and I don’t notice it bottoming out on the rear end anymore. It’s the perfect Height and I’m running 14 inch tires. Great product!
I just installed my 3" lift kit today after watching the video a couple of times. It seems to ride really nice and will have no problems with it bottoming out in the rear. With the lift kit, it seems to have a much shorter turning radius.

Hi Zach, the only difference is you wouldn't have the brake cable bracket or the motor mount bracket. Everything else should be the same.
Was there a gap in the rear spacer? Mine seems to be too tall

Does this widen the front wheel stance? Are they now wider than the rear?
It does widen the front footprint about 2" from the factory setting. We do not have one here to measure to be sure.
