You have very motivating videos. They make me think to go on a cruise and experience all the positive emotions of travel that you show in your videos. Thanks a million!
Thanks so much for watching. It's a great way to see Antarctica for sure. So much fun, and the guides teach a lot about the region and its fascinating history. Happy travels!
Great video, thank you for taking time to create, my wife and i have taken good advise from your video on what to pack, as we have booked a trip on the Albatros to Antarctica aswell..... Thank You
Thanks for taking the time to make all these great videos, sure helps us all out ! Doing a last minute Chilean fiords (Patagonia) in March 2023, not Antarctica, but they had last minute super deals on this ship, so here we go (Antarctica “light”) !
Hi! I love your videos and am so glad I found your channel. I’m going to Antarctica with Albatros in November. For the expedition parka- is it warm or just a waterproof shell? I’m wondering if I need to bring my ski jacket or if that’s going to be too warm. Thank you for your advice!
Thanks so much for watching. I love to help travelers know what to expect. The parkas are quite warm. You can zip off the shell or use the full parks depending on the temps. I would bring a nice fleece and thermal layers only plus other long sleeve athletic wicking shirts, and then you'll be set with the parka too. Have a great expedition
Thanks for checking out the channel. I found Albatros more budget friendly and a younger fun vibe. Lindblad also has great itineraries and beautiful ships but it was definitely a different feel with the guides and programming
I just have a question as I'm going on the exact same itinerary. Re. waterproof pants, are ski pants suitable? The Albatros Expeditions website seems to say no ski pants, but many other travel guides recommend ski pants are ideal waterproof pants for the Antarctica zodiac.
Hi there. Thanks for watching. I would suspect that the ski pants would be way too warm. The rain pants go over other pants and are more versatile in case of sunny and warmer days. Happy travels.
I'm considering going with this company because they seem to have better prices for solo cabins. Overall, how would you say this company did? They have some pretty horrible reviews which makes me nervous because it's such a large expense. But your trip seems to not match the reviews I was reading...
I had a fine. Time. The mix of passengers was a lot younger and more solo travelers for sure. It was a lot of fun. I thought the expedition team was fine, not the best, but OK. The ship crew and waitstaff was outstanding. Thanks for watching. Happy adventures!
@@InTheLoopTravel thanks! Was there a company you liked best for expeditions? That's the most important part for me - I could care less about food or ship amenities. I actually hate cruises:) but I'm going to give in to my "no cruise" policy for this one trip.

Amazing! I'm also planning to be in the Chilean fjords in mid March with Viking. Perhaps our paths will cross! Thanks for watching. Happy travels!
Awesome video

Just found about this channel, great videos, how would you compare Albatros Expedition vs Lindblad, having a hard time trying to choose between them
