Hello David, I just subscribed your channel, which is something I practically never do. But I like your style and your contents very much. I am a car enthusiast as you are, so, I am taking the freedom to give you some suggestions for your collection... The piece you're really missing is the Maserati MC12, how is it you don't have one?? The other cars I think are a "must have" are the Porsche GT1, Mercedes CLK-GTR and the Bugatti EB110. And, as you already say in the video, the Porsche Carrera GT. Last, the Aventador SVJ. GO CATCH 'EM MR LEE!! Best regards from North Italy 😃
Selling back to the original owner and the story behind that car. This is a kind of wealth that comes with integrity and is more heart felt.
Its a nice story, but lets not forget a LaF has gone up about 3x in value since it came out. Not to say its not a nice gesture, but I'm sure he didn't lose money on the deal
David Lee is such a respectable supercar owner, I would love to meet him and just look at his cars some day. A lot of people in his position have an ego or don't appreciate things, but you can tell David Lee does appreciate what he has, and is a true enthusiast. He can talk about the cars in depth, he doesn't just look at them like shiny art pieces. Keep doing what you're doing David Lee, thank you for sharing your story with us on UA-cam.

I happen to know David personally and I can tell you that he is one of the most humble, gracious, and down to earth guys.
Awesome collection! Just a foot note, you described your '96 911 turbo as being the last normally aspirated turbo, where you meant to say the last air cooled turbo.
I've been lucky enough to get seat time in more than a few 911s, and the 993 Turbo S is a complete Animal.
Always grateful that you share your cars with us David. I'm often turned off by "collectors" because I feel many are interested in the investment over the enjoyment. It seems that you truly enjoy driving these and sharing them. I'm a man of modest means but I own a 1982 308 and it brings me a lot of joy. Maybe not quite as much as driving a 288 GTO, but I know it's close. Congratulations on you collection and please keep putting miles on these!

With all the car greatness in there, I'd like to see the simple, easy to find classics added: 308, 328, 348, & 355. Most importantly, they are just so fun to drive and car fans connect with them.

What a fantastic collection you have 8-) Loved hearing the history of your ownership.
Really wish we would've seen more of the P1 GTR or the F1 car in use. I'm sure Ferrari's track program is crazy expensive, but driving an F1 car seems like a completely different experience which no road car will ever come close to.

So awesome you remember each one and details! But of course you would. Me too. Love the pics from the past. But makes me regret the ones I let go as well. As the same age as you I’m obsessed with same cars! Especially the Dino! It was my 1st Ferrari (Fiat! Ha ha) 1/25 scale model when I was 12. Still got it!

Oh and what car I like the most is definitely Ferrari 280 evolution. I’m a huge rally fan which is actually rare in America but group B besides maybe Group C racing in my opinion spawned the most amazing timeless race cars and homologation specials

Nooo way! you had a Porsche 993 911 turbo. That was my dream car back in the day but couldn't afford. Back them it was college or a car. I picked college figure I would eventually get one, but life kicked in with marriage and kids now my play car is a mini cooper. hahahha. Great video it's great how you started out buying your own car. You ask what's the best car in the past. I would say Ferrari 288GTO.
