Hello David, I just subscribed your channel, which is something I practically never do. But I like your style and your contents very much. I am a car enthusiast as you are, so, I am taking the freedom to give you some suggestions for your collection... The piece you're really missing is the Maserati MC12, how is it you don't have one?? The other cars I think are a "must have" are the Porsche GT1, Mercedes CLK-GTR and the Bugatti EB110. And, as you already say in the video, the Porsche Carrera GT. Last, the Aventador SVJ. GO CATCH 'EM MR LEE!! Best regards from North Italy 😃
Its a nice story, but lets not forget a LaF has gone up about 3x in value since it came out. Not to say its not a nice gesture, but I'm sure he didn't lose money on the deal
David Lee is such a respectable supercar owner, I would love to meet him and just look at his cars some day. A lot of people in his position have an ego or don't appreciate things, but you can tell David Lee does appreciate what he has, and is a true enthusiast. He can talk about the cars in depth, he doesn't just look at them like shiny art pieces. Keep doing what you're doing David Lee, thank you for sharing your story with us on UA-cam.
Awesome collection! Just a foot note, you described your '96 911 turbo as being the last normally aspirated turbo, where you meant to say the last air cooled turbo.
David Lee’s story is inspirational, first car as a Toyota and actually using your own money seems very wise, and giving his father his fathers dream car is inspirational.
David is the real deal and self made ! Came from a low income family and worked his way up the ladder with a lot of hard work ! Much respect to you David - you deserve your success !
Always grateful that you share your cars with us David. I'm often turned off by "collectors" because I feel many are interested in the investment over the enjoyment. It seems that you truly enjoy driving these and sharing them. I'm a man of modest means but I own a 1982 308 and it brings me a lot of joy. Maybe not quite as much as driving a 288 GTO, but I know it's close. Congratulations on you collection and please keep putting miles on these!
You’re collection is just insane proves that you can do anything you dream of if you put enough time into doing what you love!! I would love to visit you’re garage in a few years once I can drive and trust my self.
With all the car greatness in there, I'd like to see the simple, easy to find classics added: 308, 328, 348, & 355. Most importantly, they are just so fun to drive and car fans connect with them.
David, just saw video of Normal Guy Supercar of your invite to his friend Tim to view your collection and give him a ride in your 1964 Ferrari. What a great thing you did, kudos to your generosity. As a viewer, love what you did!
This is the first video I watch of you Mister Lee. Seems like youre such a humble, calm and down to earth man, The spec you had/have on the 458 aperta, its my absolute dreamcar, I even have a model of it in the exact same spec. Keep up the good work id say, you got yourself a sub. Greetings out of Belgium
Really wish we would've seen more of the P1 GTR or the F1 car in use. I'm sure Ferrari's track program is crazy expensive, but driving an F1 car seems like a completely different experience which no road car will ever come close to.
How do you go from a $7500 pick up truck to a 993 to a Diablo? That’s amazing and the way you’ve climbed the ladder car wise is very inspiring. Btw the fact that you’re sitting on a Ferrari F1 car..omg.
I don’t know this guy but anyone who is appreciative of if father for raising his son to be a successful business man then buys his father a rolls as a Thankyou then this guy deserves all this luxury. Best wishes my friend
dear mr david lee congratulations first for make the best ferrari collector in north america but still my favorite ferraris are the enxo and the f40 and the 288 gto i wish having see in person thesev cars of yoyur collection bleesing for your familiy and the best ferrari coleccion ever made
David your an inspiration. Everything you have is from hardwork and I gotta say your an amazing role model. I look forward to hopefully one day meeting you and who knows buying maybe buying a car off of you or selling you one!
You surely need a Laferrari back in the stable , one of the best modern Ferrari , also what happened to the 918 spider I well that’s one of the best cars ever made
If you sold the 275gtb 4, that is the one you should buy back. No car maker has ever conceived a more beautiful design than that car. Congrats on your beautiful collection and putting in the work to be able to afford it!
David I love your videos! Thank you for telling us this stories and showing us those deeply nice details from your models. I will have a collection like yours certainly one day, lot of work still on the road ahead, but we are in the way. See you soon riding those horses! Best for you always.
Nooo way! you had a Porsche 993 911 turbo. That was my dream car back in the day but couldn't afford. Back them it was college or a car. I picked college figure I would eventually get one, but life kicked in with marriage and kids now my play car is a mini cooper. hahahha. Great video it's great how you started out buying your own car. You ask what's the best car in the past. I would say Ferrari 288GTO.
Question/video idea: I’m curious how you manage to drive them all. I’ve heard that these vehicles (particularly the older ones) like to be driven and have problems when they sit. I’m curious how frequently you drive each one and if you put any of them in storage mode for periods or have experienced any mechanical issues from letting them sit for too long? I have a motorcycle and have to take certain steps when I put it away for the winter to ensure the fuel doesn’t gum up the carbs, etc. would love to know all your thoughts on maintaining a large collection so they’re drivable. Thanks!
I just shit my pants laughing David when you said " the prices are too high " on the Carrera g.t.!! Money dosen't seem to be an issue for you my friend.
Oh and what car I like the most is definitely Ferrari 280 evolution. I’m a huge rally fan which is actually rare in America but group B besides maybe Group C racing in my opinion spawned the most amazing timeless race cars and homologation specials
Mr Lee, I’m hoping that at some point Ferrari offers you the opportunity to do a one-off Ferrari through their Special Projects Program. I would say, if you haven’t already done so, please request that they commission you one. It would have to be a full-blooded, naturally aspirated V12, of course, but I really long for a throwback to that gorgeous, hair-raising symphony of the naturally-aspirated, flat plane V8 that was a Ferrari hallmark, as well. I hope that you read this and take it to heart.
Mr david you're such a incredible person i can see your passion in the cars i see many beautiful cars that you collect over the years and i wanna say i admire you because i love cars too and i gonna work hard get many cars as you have and hopefully 1 day i can meet you and talk about cars many blessing 🙏🏾💪🏾
288 GTO Something that I wanted so very badly when I was in college!! But, As a great Jewish man Leonard Nemoy once said, " In life you'll find That wanting is more satisfying than having"!
Which of my cars In the past do you like the most??
The P1 GTR and the carrera GT
The La Ferrari. Buy another one again.
275 GTB 6C
How are you so rich?

Selling back to the original owner and the story behind that car. This is a kind of wealth that comes with integrity and is more heart felt.
Its a nice story, but lets not forget a LaF has gone up about 3x in value since it came out. Not to say its not a nice gesture, but I'm sure he didn't lose money on the deal
I love the fact that being a super busy business owner, he still gives time to make youtube videos for others to know about his life.
Lol kiddie

Very well put, I agree 100%
I happen to know David personally and I can tell you that he is one of the most humble, gracious, and down to earth guys.
Man, this guy needs a hug.
Awesome collection! Just a foot note, you described your '96 911 turbo as being the last normally aspirated turbo, where you meant to say the last air cooled turbo.
I've been lucky enough to get seat time in more than a few 911s, and the 993 Turbo S is a complete Animal.
Kudos to that man!
Very humble and down to earth.
Amazing guy!
Mr Lee, that’s one stunning collection. The Dino retro mod was awesome, then the 288 GTO and F55! That was a great watch. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it Timothy, thanks!

Can't be naturally aspirated and turbo at the same time

The Steve McQueen F12, is my favorite out of the collection. That auto is “stunning.”

David doing the F1 program? Hell yeah
He had the last of the naturally aspirated 993 Turbos😂 That`s a rare car indeed🤣
A splendid collection...especially the 288 GTO

The yellow F50!!! That will always be my fav looking Ferrari just because I admire it as a kid and had bedsheets of a Ferrari F50 ha!
Pretty hard to beat that 288GTO. I think that's my choice.
