Have you tried Amy Howard's waxes and Dust of Ages? And the antiquing cracking coats. Amazing, no sanding off paint.

Kacha - you really were born to do this - cause you have the passion, inspiration, skill set, and vision for what is possible with a given piece of furniture. To me, compared to every other furniture makeover / flipper on YT, you are truly an artist, transforming dull, dated-looking cast-offs into something spectacular that can be handed down through families and time.

She doesn’t know Broyhill…so she’s an artist and doesn’t use a dropcloth.

That's right Kacha!!!! Blending is sooooooo DIFFICULT, I think. And yes, it certainly TAKES PRACTICE, PRACTIC, PRACTICE!!!! The Piece looks STUNNING in your Shop. As much work as you did to it, I'd CRY IF I HAD TO SELL IT!!!! I bet there are pieces in Heaven that look like the ones you Paint!!!!

Very impressive! So, Annie Sloan has an amazing product! I have always seen Furniture Flippers prep the surface of their pieces by first scuff sanding them to remove the shiny surface to enable the chalk paint to permanently adhere to the piece. Love your vision and your artistry! B~}

So pretty! I didn’t hear if you said your scuff sand- Do you ever find that the paint flakes off the laminate top? Or when you paint the hinges do you ever have problems w paint adhering to them?
