Playing as a renegade forces you to adopt a play style that’s really rat-like in order to survive. I remember when I did a renegade play through where I had to keep several different disguises just so I wouldn’t be shot by every other faction.
Imagine the uproar the Clear Sky will be having when they hear the news of a single Renegade going commando on CNPP like Captain Alex's troops

When I clicked on the video, I thought this will be some hardcore Renegade survival gameplay. Your gear proved me immediately wrong. :D
Also, seeing you shoot so indiscriminately in Truck Cemetery almost brought me into a state of panic. Dude, this is the Truck Cemetery. Basically Chimera country. Going around shooting left and right is certain death in these parts of the Zone.
In my last Renegade IronMan run, I made it to northern bandit checkpoint only to find it totally depopulated. You should have seen the horror that washed through my face when I realised, that the things that massacred the bandits were three chimeras chilling just to the south of the base. Not one, THREE!
No amount of firepower could have saved my sorry renegade ass if I would just dare to sneeze in that moment.
Anyway, here is my tip. if you want a true stalker survival horror challenge, play Renegade, IronMan mode, the hardest difficulty possible and don´t use the Dark Valley as the base of your operations. Also set mutant population up to 4.0 and stalker population down to 0,25 - 0,5. Believe me, it is the most hardcore stalker experience there is. Things like food and drinkable water at that point will become a question of life and death. Finding a place to sleep for the night will become a question of life and death. Ammo conservation(for your Makarov of course) aswell will become a question of life and death. You will suffer due to lack of medicine and healthcare. Easy trading will become an impossiblity. Everbody will shoot at you(except for bandits). And also, since I avoid taking life risking missions(especially hitman and assassination missions), I am constantly broke a rely heavily on scavenging and exploring.
By the way, I play EFP 3.0 since it has the "NPC claim loot" mode which basically prevents you from looting stalkers you didn´t kill yourself. Also 3.0 doesn´ť have empty stashes like 4.0(seriously, who thought it would be a good idea to make all the stashes empty? it just takes away one of the main reasons to explore maps - even the truly dangerous ones).
This may be pretty old but about the food thing the meadow canteen or whatever it's called has quite a bit of food in there so use that
@@Plumber2414 That might be true, but the few food items you will find there will last you a few hours at best. If your gameplay last weeks or even months(if you are extremely lucky to survive for that long), other sources are necessary.
@@SlovanskastranaRR Yes but by a few hours or even more you could progress majorly, getting some stuff from bandits. New equipment disguises. Etcetera
Never went to Limnask at night but it definitely has a Silent Hill vibe.

@@brainjacktI tried screen space shaders and was somewhat disappointed in the performance hit for the visuals despite my build. Reshade and ageda are perfect fits though. Can’t recommend enough

I think that’s an amb-17 from the RWAP mod. Guy here has the 5.45 version that is unsuppressed but there is an integrally suppressed version that fires 9x39 and it’s super good
