am so proud of her and all the work she has done on helping us understand ♀♂ and her dedication to the womens' movement which couldn't have done it without her!
😮iyoooo this is 9years ago woooow we thought it was from the 2024 conference yeslik! Goodness this speaks true to today 23rd July 2024. It speaks to tomorrow July 2025 and many more years to come. We watching for the 6th time in 2 days. Rea leboha 🙏
Obviously lots of prep went into this speech, very impressive That said, It's hard to pin down what she's saying, ought to be more focused Would be awesome to hear these ideas in a more emotionally moving or solution-driven way Thanks for posting!!
She is an admirable woman in many ways. She did a great deal for women, but nothing for mothers, sadly. I’m not saying she is unfulfilled having not had children, nor that women who don’t have children are unfulfilled or in any way less than their sisters who have. What I am saying is that her ideas on motherhood were underdeveloped, and remain so to the detriment of her sisters. She says it’s impossible to be a feminist and a racist. That’s good, if true. Unfortunately too many of her successors said it IS impossible to be a feminist and a mother. The current feminists don’t even know what a woman is and have real problems about boundaries, their own and children’s.
Thank you Gloria.... I appreciate all you do....
Gloria Steinem is one of the best.
Qwerrtyuiop I did not know what these were on pay stubs and I did it

Around halfway (17:30), she got really funny in the storytelling, though

Gloria does for feminism as Nigella does for food.
Looking for a more tolerant master to undermine yourself.
@Grainne Ni Malley Depends. Who might you be.
