Hello everyone, sorry I havent uploaded in a while. I am busiest with work May-July and travel as well. And I usually edit and now voice over my videos in the morning which is why I sound so tired haha
Nice video... I have had problems playing as a CV but this video have some nice tips which can improve my gameplay. Only one problem is the volume of the video is too low...
It’s a good video Nukes. I think a fighter baiting tutorial would be good. I also think that a video that gave strategies for attacking DD’s would be good. I’ve watched a few videos of yours and often it seems like you catch them off guard, where-as I see many CV players just swirling and re-directing their torpedo bombers endlessly as the DD goes into a sharp turning circle.
I'm a noob but two strategies I've found are super powerful is changing targets last second so that the dd thinks you're targeting their support, and another is flying over them then returning when they've pushed themselves against a wall or gamer turn then you catch them while they can't maneuver well.
Nukes, just wanted to say I’m new to the channel. I’ve been playing blitz for about a year and a half now and have a ton to learn. I’ve watched Terry. I’ve watched Bob Lynn couple others, but I wanted to ask you could you do more instructional based videos on the different platforms, your advanced carrier tactics was clear concise easy to follow instructive and entertaining all the same time one of the best that I seen awesome content great gameplay thank you for your time but I think you’re really missing the boat on instructional videos because you killed it with this!

This shows the what, the thing that’s been missing for future CV users is the HOW. We all know about fighter baiting, but how to fighter bait is the missing component. I know decent CV users that can’t fighter bait after years of playing. Squadron stacking. How do you keep your squadrons moving in virtual unison? I’ve seen CV’s command 3x Torp squads as if they were one unit. Absolutely no discernible lag between the turns/direction changes of squad 1 and squad 3. Perfecting Torp squad direction changes. Elite CV players can change their direction on a dime and somehow not invoke the dreaded doom spiral. This used to be done with the recall/reposition bug. But it seems like some players can invoke an instantaneous 90 degree angle change with their squadrons without forcing them into a circle. This one is big for players wanting to get better at hunting DD’s specifically. It’s never been not know what to do for many players. Instead there has been a major gap in HOW to do it with the knowledge largely being kept secret amongst the bigger fleets. It’s insane to think that this game is had been around for over half a decade and there still hasn’t been a fighter baiting guide posted on YT working through the actual mechanics of how it works.
On the contrary, fighter baiting mechanics and it's basics are actually really easy to grasp. Really, it's doing so while micromanaging everything else and against a competent CV who knows how to mitigate baiting, that's the hard part. Here's a rundown on fighter baiting mechanics. Fighters primarily exist in one of two states: moving (from current location to a destination you set), and patrolling (done upon them reaching the set destination). In the latter, fighters circle their immediate area, and when enemy fighters close to within a certain radius, they will lock on to the enemy fighters and attempt to attack (“in a dogfight” status will be shown). They will keep chasing/attacking until the enemy fighters are dead or they themselves are. This is the state you want your opponent's fighters to be in. In the second state, the fighters only move towards the destination you set (unless you change it). Even if enemy fighters are nearby or locked on to them, they will keep moving and never deviate. The only thing that the opponent can do to remove them from this state, is if they take damage from enemy fighters, in which case they will just dogfight. This is the state you want your fighters to be in. Now you know the mechanics, let's go through a basic fighter bait execution. When you see your opponent's fighters in the patrol state (circling around a fixed area), that's the prime time to attempt a bait. Send your fighters towards them, making sure you set the destination beyond where the enemy fighters are (and not directly at); that way your fighters won't go into the patrol mode upon reaching the enemy fighters. Like mentioned before, once you get close enough the enemy fighters will lock on to yours and start chasing. Since your fighters are still in the moving state, they won't lock on at all. Now once you see that happen, you click on the return button, or set whatever destination you want to dogfight to be at. Your fighters will turn around and merrily go wherever you want them to (still in the moving state), while the enemy fighters will be stuck in that lock on state and foolishly chasing yours. Most importantly, take care to turn around your fighters early enough, or else the enemy fighters will catch up and damage yours, thus forcing a dogfight. Voila, pretty simple to do. You can now choose where you want the dogfight to be and enlist the help of friendly AA to win it.
Great guide, I recently got the shokaku and I just wanted to know how the shokaku performs against the enterprise and sanzang , I face a lot of them and I'm struggling with it lol

@@danielbaldwin2390 I am actually going to make a guide on how to use fighters soon :)

if there are any captions I forgot to remove them from the video lol, I had those as my speakers notes and thought I removed them all haha
It's amazing how well you play with CVs!

I was actually thinking of making a guide on how to handle indomitable and sanzang!
