Love the Ohio but I’ve been favoring fast firing cruisers the last month. I’m gonna go for the Austin next.
Nothing wrong with Ohio, big gun with decent secondary. I pick that BB for my 1st RB ship too
Ohio is still a really good choice, it's got some decent secondaries and the 18 inch guns do pack a punch.

I think the only change I would make on the commander build is swapping consumable specialist for grease the gears for that turret rotation should you find yourself in that wiggle/flee situation or something that needs you to turn hard away but keep the guns churning
So we have normal des moines, super heal des moines, Bigger des moines (Illinois), and now Mini Des moines (Hull) 😅😅😅
Darn it, just got Ohio. Would have waited for Hull. Ohio is very nice, but I'm a DD main.

Its modules do get slapped a bit.
It’s a trash DD for doing DD duties. It’s a great light cruiser IF you have a division with someone who does the capping & spotting for you.
at least Hull has potent AA for a DD. Lushun struggles with that.
Yea, if you can't cap in your DD you're at a pretty crippling disadvantage in today's meta. Just play a damm cruiser instead of stealing a DD slot.
6.5k conceal Hulls can be a significant problem if played correctly against other DDs.
@Crosshair84 You can rush with Hull because of the speed boost. With Sherman, it is not possible unless the enemy DD smokes up and your hydro is on. If you are a unicum player, turn your ship around if you keep getting spotted by enemy dd scouting you. 6.5km is workable.

Wargaming being idiots again....Giving an improved repair party which heals 20% total hp to a dd...The main counter of that heal are citadel hits and torp hits, not letting the ship heal as much from the accumulated damage! And the hull does not have a damned citadel because it is a dd and 30k hp!
