Very nice. The buildings proposed for the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße are especially fine. I prefer the Berliner Dom as it was actually built, compared to these proposals, though (at least, in the form in which it originally appeared before the war, and not its current, mangled state).

It baffles me that after the Wende, the state did not restore it to its authentic, original condition. And the Denkmalskirche portion has STILL not been rebuilt at all, which is baffling.
Becouse this government hates Germany and only cares about themselves, the German defence minister flew with a army helicopter to a rich Island Sylt for vecation they don't care about Germany only their own pockets, the worst about it is that none of the political parties are votable they are all the sam.@@jetuber
I have just discovered your channel. Fascinating and beautiful drawings, they are relics of an era when European civilisation was at its peak and beauty was appreciated. The "Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial" was beautiful; having said that, a dome would have been nicer than the huge imperial crown. Alfred Bürde´s "Triumphal Arch" looks too similar to the Napoleonic triumphal arch at the "Place du Carrousel" in Paris.
Just compare this to today's horrible architecture. Thank you for showing us. Sustainable architecture is the one people love and will preserve. One day the modern ego architects will be left in the dust. Hopefully.
I hope so. The horrible architecture imposed on the Western nations after 1945 is just a reflection of the mentality of the greedy shopkeepers who won the war. Everything must be profitable, the more the better, who cares about beauty and heritage?

While Germany played a big role playing in the start of the First World War, it was definitely not their fault alone. If nationalist serbia did not support the murderers of Archduke France Ferdinand, Austria and Germany would have never been forced to make such a decision. Also not Russia mobilized its military before Germany did. France supported Russian aggression and saw it as an opportunity to reclaim lost lands.

There is an amazing design for the Berlin cathedral by Otto Wagner, also Bruno Schmitz designed a magnificient plan for Berlin as an imperial capital

to be fair, to current Berliner Dom doesn't look like the same as before the war. Before the war it looked better
