Hi this video was so good thanks for doing it! I have the exact same thing going on with my cat Simba. I’m moving to Perth in January and have just had all his jabs/rabbies test done and will be using PetAir as well 🙌
I’m just really worried about his flights as they put them in the hold, so you know how it went for your? Also the Melbourne facility looks good and they seem friendly to animals, so you know if the cats get outdoor time? Many thanks

Can't lie, I cried happy tears when he came out of the crate. Props to you both, there's no way I could go through this and leave my cats for that long. I would literally refuse any opportunity if it meant I had to go through this, I don't even care. You are stronger than me!

As someone currently considering moving to Australia from the UK in the next couple of years and who has 2 pets they'd need to have travel over, this is hard to watch. I'm glad you have Omi home and safe.

Been through it. We moved our cat with us from America to the UK. It was expensive, but we've never regretted it since.
Congrats OMI you made it home to the Land Down Under. So, glad after a long gruelling 5mths you’ve been able to reunite with OMI. I look forward to some pet photography videos now.

Such a great video! I moved back to Canada from Aus almost 2 years ago with my Aussie husband. We adopted an 8 year old cat here and are considering moving back to Aus and of course bringing him. I’m so scared of what the travel will do to him, but Omi seems okay. What was concerning was that the quarantine centre had little contact with you for the 10 days. I would lose it. 😢
Happy Omi is okay! I would do exactly the same, no matter the cost...

This made me cry as I watched it 😿 it's something we have considered and afraid to do as there is limited information out there about Australia Quarantine. Thank you for sharing this even though it made us cry we are so happy your took Omi with you and you are reunited. We shipped our to cats from the Uk to Dubai and now considering taking them to Australia knowing this move will be tougher because of the lack of information while they are in quarentine. Any advise on how to handle the stress?

Amazing Sam, I couldn't imagine being away from my boys that much (Colin our cat and Toby our Dog), I'm a Dad to 5 girls and our boys are definitely like our kids too, wouldn't be without them.

can’t lie, the only thing stopping me from moving to europe right now is the fact that I have 5 cats 😭 can’t afford to travel them and even if I could I don’t think it’d be easy at all ! I wouldn’t leave them for the world ! I’ll stay where I am forever if I need to ❤️

Happy to see this video! Were you allowed to leave with him his collar, leash, airtag, toys and crate, and will the Australian quarantine destroy those?
No leash / collar / AirTags toys etc only one blanket / tshirt was allowed so he could smell us during his journey.
The departure country would destroy these items as it’s a hazard for the animal during flight.
Best to just place one item of clothing that you’ve warm for a few days so your scent is either them the whole way.
