I lived in and flew in and out of Sydney for many years - both on A380's and many others. I can't remember a take-off that showed such excellent views from the harbour-side all the way west to the Hawkesbury river and the Blue Mountains beyond. Great capture! These days I live in rural NZ, and the most exciting thing I see in the sky is the occasional cessna. Many thanks for the memories!
Saw an A380 on approach to the main Houston airport yesterday. It came directly overhead at an altitude of about 3,000 ft. I was completely in awe of what I was seeing. I immediately got on flightradar24 and found that it was an Emirates A380 originating in Dubai.
wait isn’t that the malaysian airlines that did not depart one night due to technical issues? (if anyone watches the Sydney plane spotting live channel you’ll know)
@ YES EXACTLY OMG, i literally decided to tune in while i was studying and literally the first thing i heard them say was “it looks like they’re gonna have to unload all the bags and they’re not departing to Malaysia tonight” and was like yikes HAHAH
@@aaricthewong5845 , Yeah it flew out the next day, passengers were put up at the Rydges Hotel for the night, SydQuad is a fantastic channel, I’m an addict, lol……
@ Oh wow that must’ve been quite an experience for the passengers. And yes SydQuad is rlly amazing, especially during the peak hours at nights when you get a lot of the big jets that depart one after another.
Wonderful video of SIA A380 take off out of Sydney

Love that sound of the Rols Royce Trent 900s 🤩✈️
My all time favorite is the MAGNIFICENT 747. I flew many times, and never had a. moments concern for my safety
The A380 just looks majestic. The A350, 787, and A330neo just cannot replace this.
No aircraft can
OMG, at one point I thought it must be driving to Singapore 😂

That has to be the longest taxi to takeoff that I have ever seen.
Great video, and sound! Pity about the A380's anti-AvGeek windows, you did well considering!
