I slipped on a wet floor and fell in home depot i filled out a incident report but i only have minor injuries such as bone contusion to left knee and back injury i tried calling lawyers to make a claim but no one would help me because i had no broken or fractured bones
fell off a 2nd landing over 5 sets of stairs under it in my own rental townhouse the unit has 0 supports IE railings hand rails etc on the L shape stair case 9 and 5 stairs broke and fractureed 3 places in my elbow and a rash on my head... curled over and in shock i knocked on the supers door (60 feet away) asked her if i could use her phone to call my girlfriend to rush me to the hospital And with in 3 days had surgury (rings and bolts into the bone) took pictures of the staircase going to file for my medical records tomorrow. Today visited a walk in clinc for a bigger size slingthat does nopt tear into my neck..it hurt along with neck pain and stiff took pics of that ..hand was swollen bad but no redness wrist was hurting which i fixed by cutting back the cast 2 inches off the wrist bone area cutting blood off im guessing Building code in my Canadian city reqs railings after the amount of 3 steps / the spin is the building is 45+ years old the revised code was dated 1996 so a few qustions lay in that ..aka new code stick on older homes..But the brightside was a neigbour i chat with now and then asked what happen..i had a bright light come on...i said i can answer your question with your answer to mine....Do you have any type of handrails in you apt (exact same layout) And he said yeahalong the open wall side why? because mine doesnt...so he answered my question...my place does not and his does...why? why spend the money on railings if they are not req..Or why would you set railings in one place and not another.. mister Barry i am pretty good with connecting dots and thinking ahead What i lack is the legal skill/steps I spoke with a LLP which the guy was quite all over the place with numbers You could get just 5K to meh 25k in mind you were not working at the time we will really have to look into if your half at fault And if there is such a building code Help i need is want types of lawyer fees and types should i be looking for..heck i don't mind paying a pro at pro prices but remember i will have a peed off landlord looking for any reason to boot me out..even 1 day late payment of rent..and other along the line of landlord tennent act guide lines..not working = no money to save 1st/last month..lawyer fees to find out i won but was not worth settling for coverage and my pain/suffering ened up paying the 33.5% to his fees..any tips so everyone is happy?
I don't know anything about Canadian law to be honest with you. I would strongly suggest consulting with a local lawyer for any questions on this matter. Especially whether you have any recourse if your landlord retaliates against you. Sorry I can't be more help.

My elderly mother fell at a fast food restaurant. The floor in the bathroom was wet and greasy. The restaurant filled out a report. And I took pictures of her injuries. This incident happened in Alberta, Canada. I am 17 y/o in high school and I suffered a leg injury in a physed class during roller skating in a relatively less space. I was diagnosed a full 3rd grade ACL tear in my right knee and I reported the incident immediately to the teacher by email. My mom just slip fell at 99 cent only store and fractured her ischium! She’s in a lot of pain right now and can’t walk out even move around in bed on her own. Quick question , I was in a grocery store there was water dripping from the ceiling making a small puddle on the floor, I didn't see it i slip everything flew out of my hands I was on my back . An employee filled out an incident I have picture of where I fell, video of the water dripping from the ceiling, the ambulance took me to the hospital, but I don't want to sue. What else could I do.

I was in the bathroom alone so there were no eyewitnesses, but the pictures speak for themselves, this happened two weeks ago. You would have better luck suing God himself than suing any federal department in the state of maine ! I find it ironic the feds are all upset about all of these other countries being inhumane to their citizens when they cannot even take care of their own ! Then they cannot pay hospital bills they create within their own country yet they send billions in aid to other countries to take care of their people ! Not a single lawyer in this state is here to do a damned thing for anybody but their own clients they grew up with within their secret handshake society !

I fell in the bathtub at a hotel. The hand rail was not secure and I hit my left shoulder and right back area. Butt and head as well.
