With dry hair: get a washcloth soaked with hot water, then ring it out completely and place the washcloth over the whole top of your head. Keep it there until the wash cloth cools. The steam makes the hair fall flat. 👍🏼 hope this helps 🥰

I’ve always really wanted a middle parting because there’s so many cute hairstyles with it. I’m so upset that I have side parting. Also, my friends always tell me I have amazing hair but I hate it because it doesn’t part in the middle which is bad coz I want plaits soooo badly ☹️

This is how I "trained" my bangs from going down to now going to the side. When I was at work or at home I would comb them over and pin them with bobbi pins. I would put one close to the roots to retrain them and it worked!!

I try to part my hair in the middle, but it naturally parts from the left. My bangs are a little more forward on the left side than the right side. I think bobby pinning it back would push it back a little. My bangs also don’t like to sweep to the left either.
I needed this cuz when I part my hair in the middle I look like one of the witches from hocus pocus

I’ve had a side part for like ever & I recently wanted get curtain bangs so I needed a middle part so I tried to do it and put hair clips and Bobby pins in it because my hair on the left kept sticking up and it actually worked!!

Hair tip: When parting it will hurt,keep it that way but only for a few hours then flip it backa and do this atleast 2 times a week, by the third week it shouldn't hurt. Also!if your hair isn't voluminous try doing a zig-zag pattern when parting it.(Side note: it's easier to do the zigzag when parting your hair down the middle,side parts are a bit more difficult,but in the end you hair with appear more voluminous.)
For curly hair: Do this with wet hair,or semi-wet because it's easier and wont tangle as bad. Do flip it to different parts and brush/comb immediately. Put a small amount of hair oil or conditioner in your hair before flipping and again, do the zig zag pattern.

@@RetiredFleePlayer If your scalp is sensitive or you dont part your hair often it will hurt a little,kinda similar to leaving your hair in a tight pony for 4 hours straight
All my life I’ve had my hair parted to the side and about a year ago I started parting it to the side and I’ve noticed it’s way bumpier and big on one side and the other side is flat, any advice?
i know this video is old but whenever i part my hair in the center it sticks up on one side- which i expect but it stays like that even after months! i don’t think it’s all because of the actual centre though, i feel like it’s my old side part pushing it upwards if that makes sense lol i also sometimes wake up with my side part back despite all my efforts- it feels like i’ve tried everything but is there any advice on a way i can get rid of this?
I’m trying to do a middle part but my baby hairs in the front are growing from the left side of my head so they go across the parting that I’m trying to do and I don’t know how to make them parted in the middle
i have so many baby hairs to they push all my actual hairs into different directions it’s rly annoying lool

SAME! my natural part is sort of in the middle but some baby hair in the front go to the side no matter what I do, so it looks like a side part
FINALLY someone with fine, thin hair!! Mine used to be down to my hips but I cut it to just below my boobs. As much as I love long hair, I can't do shit with it when it's this thin :( Hopefully your video helps me train my hair haha I desperately need a good style since mine's always been in the middle (damn cowlick).
i have had my hair parted down the middle almost my entire life, i always have my grown out curtain bangs tucked behind my ears. doing this makes my hair really greasy so i want to stop ticking my hair behind my ears. but whenever i don’t tick my hair behind my ears it just goes over my face and it never stays out of my face. do you have any tips on how i can get my hair to naturally stay away from my face without any styling??
Ima be honest it took me one year to train my hair for a middle part. I had a side part and it was short and dramatic but as I got older people picked on me cos i had tiny bangs and it was straight and annoying. My hair is also brunette sooooo apparently it's stupid and I look stupid. Butttttt I grew my hair longer and now it's straight and bootiful soo I shut em all up':)

Yessss I need a solution to THAT specifically!!
For anyone who doesn't have Bobby pins or something, here's how I gave myself a middle part: first I forced my hair into a middle part with my brush, and then, once I seperated the left and right sides, I just put two very tight pig tails, (near to the base of my neck, thought side pig tails would probably work aswell) and kept them in for two days (carefully seperating them in the morning to brush, then right back to pig tails) it may take longer for you, depending on the length/thickness of your hair, but I hope this helps!

This was a year ago so no one will see this probably but will this work with not wet/ damp hair?
Time to see if this works to train my hair to naturally be pushed back. Normally its a natural side-part, or sometimes falling in the middle, but it never looks as good then just having it pushed out of my face.

I never watched a video to part hair! But that's my theory I parted my hair in the shower because my hair gets easy greasy if I have it dry idk why but I came up with that without any video advise i learned it myself!!!!!!
I'm def trying this because I have side shaves and my hair is now growing and with my hair that wasn't shaved (in the middle) at the sides looks like a messy bob and I wanna keep it looking that way till an actual bob grows lol

Just so y'all know 9 times out of 10 you do not have a natural part. It's just already trained that way because you wear it essentially the same everyday and it behaves. When I was younger, early 2000s, side part was in. Mine "naturally" parted to the side but that's only because that's how everyone always wore it, as soon as middle part started getting popular, I switched and what do you know now I'm 20 trying to get rid of my "natural middle part" because i wore it like that for 10 years😂
