Bro thank you so much for the Junna vids and reactions. You do an amazing job of breaking down the physiology, right/left brain and technique! I played straight ahead jazz, sax mainly through out my career but also played drums in some rock bands for fun. The technique in any instrument is so important as well as teaching how to relax to play fast. The switching hand technique she does is something I’ve taught for years, i just called the trigger method. You know like Buddy Rich used to do but match grip instead or like what you’re calling French hand technique. Once you master trigger pull and French together you should be able to do a one handed roll. I’ve since retired due to health issues but when I come across someone like you who truly gets the whole package of what it takes to be a good drummer it just gives me joy. Thanks Again… L.A. Auble

My main reason I love Junna is that she started at 15 years old playing all the other ladies started really young.. She hasn't had that much time to hone her skills which to me makes it more impressive how good she is..
If she started drumming at a young age like most, she would be made of just pure energy by now.
She is either 26 or 27 now. I've heard both 1995 and 1996 as her birth year so that makes 10+ years of practice.
