Warren Chiu, let me tell you something. I notice that every pageants, the Philippines fans are over excited and loud when miss Philippines walks out on the stage. They do cheer for a few contestants from other countries, but they don't scream so loud like they cheer for Miss Philippines. Secondly, some Philippines are over rate and too confident for all beauty queens from Philippines will take home the crown. To be honest with you, Valerie is as beautiful as Megan Young. Some Philippines fans predicted that Valerie will take home another Miss World title like Back to Back. They need tone down a little bit. They must realize that beautiful women come from all over the world.

just to educate ignorant people, south africa does not have one one race, if you know anything about this beautiful country we have many with 11 official spoken languages. everyone here is not black or dark skinned. we have a vast array of different people and everyone of them are equally south african. i am coloured which is a race in south africa not 'mixed race' im coloured as my whole family is. so before anyone makes judgement on what south africans supposed to look like, come learn about the country and the numerous cultures before a comment is delivered on what constitutes a miss south africa

As Miss SA, Rolene was expected to compete both in MU and MW. Miss World was scheduled in December 2014 while Miss Universe was postponed in January 2015, that's why Rolene competed first in miss world and she won. After Rolene winning MW the miss SA organizers quickly designated the first runner up to compete in MU and she only has less than two weeks to prepare!
If Miss universe wasn't postponed in January, I think Rolene would be sent there first before Miss world, and she would battle against Paulina Vega.

Whenever something bad happens in SA we make headlines on German newspapers and my colleagues usually put that newspaper on my table and start saying all bad things about my country. When someone joins the beauty pageants, they were first taught that they all are winners and one of them will get lucky at final night which doesn’t mean other contestants are less beautiful or smart. They were taught to accept the lose n victory as a part of beauty training before being public in the coronation night 😊😁

what i like about miss world, winner is unpredictable, all countries ball game depends on their representative's competencies, and results are monitored by gained scores in all aspects, interviews, sports, fashion... very transparent... unlike miss universe, very predictable, hocus focus not showing scores then whoops they have d winner without showing scores transparently... no wonder why more countries are joining this pageant... just saying...

We have to give Miss South Africa the credit here. She has got the gift of a gab and her public speaking skills are outstanding!! Miss India was the best looking candidate of the contest, no doubt and she out-shined others in all the fast track events (hence, I wished that she would be placed as the first runner up) but alas! all this is not enough to make the cut. A attractive personality is core of being miss world and thats where she was flawed :(
