Haunted ‘Lizzie Borden’ House Welcomes Brave Tourists

- The house in which Lizzie Borden lived and was accused of killing her father and step-mother was just sold to Lance Zaal. He says the case was “one of the United States' biggest unsolved murder mysteries” and continues to draw tourists to the infamous home. The home is said to be haunted, and Lance says he experienced “unexplained” things, like hearing footsteps and feeling something touch his leg. Inside Edition Digital’s TC Newman has more on Lance’s plans for the historic Lizzie Borden House. #InsideEdition
Why is this guy trying to make it a "family friendly experience"? She literally bludgeoned her father and stepmother to death with an axe in that house.
The original murders were a family experience. The house should be too.
Because he wants the $$. He just paid $2m, he's going to market to as many people as possible.
He needs to make the money back somehow
@@Ty-vj4wg lmfao da
I feel like the more time goes by since a crime, the more remote that violence can feel to us. I think he’s going for kind of a campy vibe
Honestly i think any structure that old has the potential of being “haunted”
but there was murders in it
Watch the buzzfeed unsloved episode on it it’s really good
My house being 90 years old.
You're right. It's nothing. I'm a level 400 on phasmophobia and I can tell you that ghost sucks.
I’m so happy we think the same !
Me: “Alr ghost show me where the hidden treasure is”
Doubt you'll be lead anywhere nice.
@@smteammm Bingo!
Agreed
Might be where the treasure is
You mean hidden bodies?
As much as I love old Victorian houses and hotels, I don’t think I’d stay there. There’s something just way too creepy about it.
The nursery rhyme about it gives me the chills bro
Even on Halloween
Probably the fact that people got murdered there
I mean duhhh people literally got AXED
My gf stayed there, we partied to hard to see anything.
10 views 21 likes. It’s definitely haunted.
yes
Yes
LMAO HOW
Uhh what?
LOL
Lizzie scares me like the look on her face is haunting. I'd love to investigate this house though it just has that darkness to it
Yeah she does, Amanda Knox reminds me of her
So is everything in this world
it's just the eye colour
I don’t believe in haunted houses or anything like that but houses like that always have a depressing and austere vibe to them.
Many people died brutally in that house
It’s real! It happened to me
It's real!! A ghost 👻 slapped me in the face with his big, long ghost member 🥒💦
Visit the zak bagans haunted museum in vegas and go in the basement alone and then tell me you don’t 😂
I bet if you stay the night in lizzie's room you'll be a believer by morning
Let someone sleep there that has no knowledge of the history, and I bet the night will be fine, no issues!
placebo effect does wild things
The spirit world is as real as you and I just because we can't see it doesn't mean it's not there when I was younger I didn't believe in spirits until I had an encounter with one
U cant decide it will be fine, come on man its a ghost, many people encounter one without knowing it haunted before
1:52 thats the scariest doll I've ever seen
In my opinion, it all depends on our mindset, if u just think about ghosts killing u, you will obviously hear sounds and stuff like that. It's scientifically proven. For instance, my niece, she was very brave when she was little, she used to watch horror movies alone, Growing up she just her mum say"complete ur greens or you'll b taken away by a ghost"lol and now she a cry baby. Stay safe❤
The spirit world is as real as you and I just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there
@@keewinter5752 they’re right tho, if u constantly believe in ghost and stuff like that, your mind will trick you and make you hear stuff .
I remember watching the Buzzfeed Unsolved video about this house.
That episode was awesome! I like that show.
Of course you did Lance, gotta generate that business. You don't pay $2m for a place like that unless it has business potential & it's business is the haunting intrigue.
Wow mate talk about a party popper
@@snqesports337 it's all business. And that's what this place is, it's his business.
I wonder if Lizzie ever gets tired of the Tourists...
The jump rope rhyme was one of my favorite when I was little. Ya know, before I understood what murder was.
Been there over 5 times. Never stayed in the house cause it is waaaayyy too expensive. The owners of the house know me and my sister as "the twins". The house was for sale for two million dollars. glad to see is it going to a good owner and I can't wait to meet him. August fourth I'll be back.
Nice!!!
How much to stay overnight?
@@ValerieCerpaa698 u have to look it up. Last I checked $350. Could of gone up since I last checked.
look forward it!
I hate when I literally just “think” about something and it pops up on whatever social media I’m on. I was just thinking about taking my husband to the B&B and only telling him it’s the Borden house after we get there! I live to yank that man’s chain. 😂😂😂
Why can’t tourists leave those houses alone
who cares
He seems like a good owner of this property because hes not just focused on the "haunted" side of it. He s also making a family friendly tour. I think its great hes honering it as a historical property too.
Would love to tour the house one day!
I actually had 2 experiences in the house while touring I would absolutely love to share!
So share...
No thanks. The owners set up a scare every % of the time so they can make money from tours/stays.
always that skeptic.
@@carjay7 always a sceptic till something happens to them. I’ve had several experiences in my short life and don’t care if people call me crazy I know it happened. Perhaps sceptics need to work more in abandoned Hospitals and such and make them sign an agreement that they can’t quit based simply on paranormal experiences.
@@persistentapparartionkitty5830 I've had experiences too, I was talking to Codeman. My bad
Something many people might or might not realize is that any pre-owned item can carry haunting properties with it. Especially if the item is vintage or antique. Even more so if an item is pre-owned with connections to people doing evil things with it or wearing it or using while perpetrating evil.
I know some relatives of the Borden family, This house is a piece of American history! Before the world even knew what real murders were
He’s doing one hell of a marketing job
I live in Massachusetts and when I drive by that house it gives me nightmares
Sheesh bro ain’t no way I’m going there
How about for 5 bucks?
@@persistentapparartionkitty5830 I'd need for someone to pay for my therapy if I go in there.
is it strange that i really want to sleep there just to see what happens
as a former Fall River resident, I used to live near it, and i tell you h'what, its not that bad
Surprised they didn't mention Shane and Ryan lol. Also, if they want to make it into some sort of virtual experience, they should make it into a VR tour like the Anne Frank House (which everyone should totally check out if they have the chance, it's free on the Oculus and is incredibly interesting).
We'll do that too!
LITERALLY
*Crosses house off wishlist*
I passed by this house when I was in Fall River last year! I wanted to go in sooo bad
At 250 a night for 2 ppl you better give me some crazy ass experience js
That does not include tax either.
@@GinaGiacalone Great comment, well said. That charge of $350 does not even include breakfast. I do not like what the new owner has done with the place. He is a money grubber and does not care for the history and does not show respect with what happened there.
Yeah, the people that sold the house for 2 million (in 2021) should of gotten more $.
For $250 a night x 365 nights, is over 91K a year income.
Plus they make money off the daily tours & the merchandise.
“Have a great time” there’s no such thing as haveing great time when you’re in a haunted house 😖😖😱😬
I did not expect someone to buy it...
I’m from Canada and I’m literally dying to go to that house. It’s my favorite mystery since I was little
I’ve been following this story for years
I’m not stuck in here with you Lizzie you’re stuck in here with me!!!
Shane is that you??
There is no mystery, when you read up on the story you can just tell that she DID commit those murders.
The reason it’s a mystery is because the crime has yet to be solved. 130 years later.
Agreed, it’s pretty clear she committed the murders. As to reasons why it would range from her parents finding out about her sexuality as a lesbian and disapproving it to her father being abusive and her killing him as revenge.
@@xpan195 She was never a lesbian. While she did have a very close relationship with a Boston based vaudeville actress Nance O’Neil after the two met in Boston in 1904, Lizzie was never a lesbian. She had “courtships” and had a secret relationship with a man from Fall River David Anthony until she got sick of him and let him go. There’s also NO evidence that Andrew sexually abused his daughters. While I and a lot of people do believe this, and this quite possibly should’ve been true we will never know. There were two murderers, not only one. And two instruments were more than likely used.
Get your house blessed by a priest
Yeah no way I'm going to be able to fall asleep there
Never heard of this until now
You can’t forget about the Black Dahlia too
My grandpa used to have a comforter like the one at 1:45, I used to pull a thread everytime I went over to his house😅
Three words "The Ghoul Boys"
Last thing I had was that the house was only open to tourists
No joke I was watching this on supernatural yesterday
If it's really haunted then it should be opened 24×7 for visitors.
POV: U r a 3 yr old watching this at 2 am
maybe theres an intruder that keeps going there and he just doesnt notice
*Family Friendly Tours* 🤣
I clicked it because it's real estate baby! 💵💵💵😂😂
That doll at 1:53 scared the crud out of me lol 😂
mee tooo
Any Buzzfeed Unsolved fans here that remember this episode? 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
That episode was awesome! I like watching that show.
About 20 years later another axe murder happened in Iowa known as the Villisca Axe murders took place in where a whole family and one guest were killed by an axe murder. And the house you can rent out for a night and investigate.
Actually it was two guests that were killed
dang
I grew up next state over but it just down the road. Most local kids know the jump rope theme.
i remember in forensics class we did a simulation of the case and it looked exactly like the inside and outside
I went there on July 1st, 2021 and it was so cool! Highly recommend
I go to fall river a lot but still never been to the house
Like honestly most of the times its just in your head until it really isn't !
Honestly, being haunted all night is not a fun experience at all lol..it happened to me in Greeley Colorado at the Clarion. It felt nasty.
I wouldn't stay a night in there for a million dollars lol
I would.
I would but if anything happens i would be out of there as fast as someone who just saw the worst thing in thw world
I would stay in there for as little as $5000.00, a Million and I would live there full time and I would be the one haunting Lizzie not vice versa.
Spoopy
MA is so expensive that even a haunted house is worth $2 million. In fall river too which is not very pleasant to live in.
Wow didn't even know that I thought they knocked down that house already🤔
So maybe Lizzie and the uncle did it together!
I used to live in a highly haunted 1800s home not many good spirits if none at all. The basement was blocked up we feel like a ritual or multiple have happened there as most of the energy comes from there and the kitchen to my old bedroom. There's a lot of things I've seen, heard and experienced in that house which will be a whole story if I told everyone
Woah creepy..
I live in Rhode Island it's an amazing house to see! I totally believe that she did it, but back then it was so unimaginable that a "fragile" woman could do such a thing.
My girlfriend and I spent a night here - we slept in Lizzie’s bedroom, and we slept quite soundly that night. The experience was worth it, but nothing really paranormal happened - and we both keep open minds.
The doll was so scary that it made me jump
mom, come pick me up im scared
Creepy. 😱
Hahah “I hear steps going up the stairs..” hahaha hos own steps lol
*You can easily see that the guy is making things up to hype up his house, basics of marketing.*
I never heard of this person until today
Just found out our third grandmother (great great) was Lizzie’s grandmother… They’re updating the ancestry. Also related to Rebecca Cornell
Oh my God I cannot believe that happened that is a true crime passion I feel so bad for the people who had to go through that it is so tough I would not be able to handle that if that happened to one of my family members that is so crazy I just wish that would never happen again in the world history
people act like they already watched all of this
me in 2x replay speed
Gosh
I can already see a new ghost adventures episode lol
Look up Lizzy Bordon on you tube Many ghost hunter have stayed there over night VERY HAUNTED
Fear sells.. serious skeptic
Was this on Ghost Adventures years ago?
Dude is a wacko for buying the house where Lizzie Borden once lived.
Dean and Sam Winchester went ghost hunting here in a episode of Supernatural called Thin Lizzie 😂😂
I'd stay there! Looks like a fun experience. I like creepy and Morbid things and my friend does too so I should tell her about it.
Creepy.
Oh ma gahhhh
I hope no one gets 🤕, but I think that someone might take advantage of the story too ether scare people away or hurt someone!
Ad : Family friendly place where family can interact with friendly ghost .
I would want to go there and stay the night.
too spooky for me lol
This house even looks creepy from the outside if I ever stay there I'm bringing salt, iron and everything else I learned from watching Supernatural about ghost. 😂😂
dangg
The house of Lizzie Borden is haunted and makes me think of a thriller horror movie
Yoooo wasssup boys

How to find a haunted house:
1. Find a old house that was abandoned
2. Follow step one
2 million? Oh he rich rich
