One really cool thing I recently saw, (isn't in this vid,)... a full sized shower... HOW you ask??, with retractable/collapsable walls!! and it leaves a tonne of additional room for other things.

You should have showed us the Field Van standing there with the roof that goes up.
Really enjoyed learning about the batteries. We live in Texas and the AC is a must. With a Revel, what is the best way to upgrade the system to allow us to run the AC all night on a battery. RoamRig? Or??

This just all seems too much. Having built and lived in both bus and van, all this gee-wiz stuff is not going to be enough for the type of folk dropping this much coin on a van to be comfortable. Weekend warriors with corporate money. God bless em. The good news is that in 10-20 years there will be plenty of these available for cheap. Good ideas here though for the DIY set.

This is so American. You guys take comfort and convenience to ridiculous levels, its supposed to be an outdoors van, yet you bring a full house of electrics and comforts with you, adding costs, fuel, excess. The world global temperature is going up and up, becasue of our consumption of energies and burning of waste material. In the US today the weather report temperatures of 34.5 degrees centigrade and is expecting to keep going up, yet you lot haven't learned a thing, just more more more, consume, consume, bigger, bigger,
Yep, yanks get a kick out of using unnecessary resources, it's like they really really want to wreck the planet. I'm just surprised these vans don't come with flame throwers and agent orange spray.
