I also say the same. I am going to prefer to the Boeing 777 for ever. A great plane. I am too lover of the boeing 777. The best airplane of the aviation history.
@@RocketAnthem I'm like they shelled out all that money... only for it to go to waste. United did a similar thing with some of the ex-Continental 757's. Since those are narrow though and could pinch hit for some heavies, hopefully a number will come out of the boneyard.
Sad to see such great aircraft with a brand new cabin go so fast. Will miss seeing the 777 in the sky for delta. I hope the 767 is at least there with delta for a few more years. The 767s and 777s have always been some of my favorite heavies, so well made, so stable. Thanks for bringing the experience to us Quintin, wish I could have been there, great vid!
this Q re-view is made possible by two helpings of ice cream. one year ago today, 10-31, qfsaviation was on board the final Delta 777 flight. this video commemorates the occasion and is well worth watching. great job Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and thanks for sharing!!
So sad that Delta are having to retire this lovely aircraft. Flown twice, once to Jamaica and then to Tampa from the UK. Spacious comfy plane. Gone, but not forgotten 🙁
I was only able to catch the landing and takeoff after your flight completed. It was a beautiful takeoff into a beautiful sunset. Appropriate for the moment. Thanks for sharing your experience onboard.
Yes, flying into LAX is always nice looking at all the hotels close by the airport. It is a big airport with lone walks to many flights. But thank you for sharing...
Not only -ER but -LR... Things are getting very tough. I remember I had ridden one from NRT to SIN, a herringbone business seat, B777-200LR flown from ATL.
I watched most of the flight from JFK to LAX and then all of the flight from LAX to Victorville on flightradar. Farewell to my second favorite Boeing aircraft and favorite airlines 777.
flew ship 7104 from PVG-ATL in january, the 14 hour flight was a breeze in the delta 777 cabin... never thought that was the very last time i would sit in one
They're not designed to accelerate, and it probably (usually) takes much longer than that. EACH of those engines puts out a thrust equivalent of around 110,000HP so...
your video is the next best thing to being there, thanks for sharing. you did an awesome job! and when was the last time you did not have a window seat? ha thx qman
TANAY.VERY RARE VERY EMOTIONAL CHERS FOR DELTA AIRLINES LEGENDARY AIRLINES 1999 TO 2020 WOW 21 YEARS BUT IS NOT SO LONG WHY ITS HAPPENED SLOWLY SLOWLY EVERY SPECIAL AIRLINES ARE RETIRED NO MAN BRITISH AIRWAYS ALSO AND NOW DELTA OH MY GOD ITS VERY SAD LAST TIME THEY ALL FLY TOGETHER THEY ALL ARE LUCKY NICE VEDEO MEMORIES BUT I MISS NOW DELTA MISS YOU DELTA AIRLINES.
Make more frontier airline trip reports. Try and sit in the back of the plane for a good shoot of the wing. Maybe fly out of Omaha Nebraska Eppley airfield. Oma airport code. On frontier airlines. Also I Loveeeee your videos. Keep on making them
I’m told by a Delta employee in a position to know that part of the reasoning for this early retirement of its 777 fleet is that the type was coming up on a major scheduled maintenance milestone who’s expense could be avoided through early retirement - kinda like big companies giving golden parachutes to high paid executives.
Farewell to my favorite long-haul aircraft. The spool-up of those GE90s is something special!
I also say the same. I am going to prefer to the Boeing 777 for ever. A great plane. I am too lover of the boeing 777. The best airplane of the aviation history.
I agree with y’all both
Can y’all tell me why they’re retiring it? Is is just delta?
@@pillcosby3949 yeah just delta
Crazy that cabin is brand new and it is being retired. Very sad
Very sad and honestly, infuriating.
more planes need a cabin like that one.
Another thing is one of the 777s that was retired was only 10.7 years old. Sad a plane that new is being retired. The oldest one was 21.7

I flew on the 777-200 many times to NRT on Delta and I will truly miss the ER and LR what great memories.
Excellent trip report! These guys were too new to be retired. They will be missed. Farewell DL 777s
This aircraft is looking beautiful. Fly safe always..

Wow. The cabin looks so great. This was an epic video. The ending was so sad and beautiful. Incredible job Quintin!
What a wonderful video! Awesome plane! Thanks

Why you crying so dang loud?
Not only -ER but -LR... Things are getting very tough.

Goodbye delta 777...... :( I will miss you alot...
O to 60 in less then 6 sec! My car does less than 4 sec,id love to race a jet on a runway lol
They're not designed to accelerate, and it probably (usually) takes much longer than that. EACH of those engines puts out a thrust equivalent of around 110,000HP so...
Very sad to see the Delta Boeing 777 retire
I live in atlanta, and for some reason I see SO MUCH 787s, A380s, 777's and even a350s. But, the thing I see the most is Delta hahaha.
your video is the next best thing to being there, thanks for sharing. you did an awesome job! and when was the last time you did not have a window seat? ha thx qman
The last time that the man did not have a window seat was 2 yrs ago.
I might be flying the Air Canada 777-200LR’s in Economy in July 2021 from YYZ-AMS

You should do that long trip in Alaska and fly on alaskas erj. And try other routes
“Because we’re delta airlines, where life is a f@cking nightmare”

Great
dude, your becoming more polite and polish like"humble opinion,Biscoff..." gone are the Puke bag days(lol!)
I was on a united 777-200 from NRT-ORD (Tokyo Narita-Chicago O’Hare)
Schönes Video! :)
Why are they retiring this jet?? It’s in perfect shape, and the interiors are absolutely beautiful!
I think it's cause of COVID.
And that Delta is going for an "All Airbus Fleet".
Good video again g💪
Im a big fan
Awsome video! It was nice to meet you on Sat night at T2
I'm just curious to know why Delta Airlines retired their 777? Did they have plans to retire the type sometime in 2022-23?
Sick video bud 🤙🏼 Glad we finally got to fly together!!! God I really was looking like a girl with that long hair😂
The boss baby the season 2 the Pu the coughing!

also what software do you use for editing?
Hi qfs aviation cool video here is a request Satena.com is a Colombian airlines does not go to us please fly it love your vids
what camera do you use?
What software were you using to editthe video
Delta AIR LINES
I think I saw you on Jeb Brooks video also ?
Goodbye Delta 777
Brooo your video visual quality is beautiful ‼️
You should consider talking / narrating instead of the words
then what will happen to the 777x?
Delta Is Not Retiring Their 777s are they?! They still have them in their fleet. If they’re retiring them, they should lease them to Prime Air
Now Delta become all Airbus Fleet right ?
No, They still have 717, 737, 757, and 767
Long haul operations, the last Boeing jets will be the 767 widebodies.
Delta still operates a lot of 717/737 domestically.
The jazz guy aviation was there too . It’s a youtube channel. If you know what this person looks like, then you can spot him in the crowd of people
lol the name at 11:08 😂
at 10:30 someone from CMH spotted that plane
First Delta retired 747 MD and now 777. The 767-300 might come. Next.
B717 and Crj-200s
