What you probably didn't know is back in the day u do that same process after u clone ur pc's mac address change a few numbers/letters hit apply restart router it would change your ip address, i used to use it to get around ip bans back in the day, don't know if it still works thats why i was looking this up had no idea it could be used in the way you just did.
So you change your computer's MAC address, restart your router, then your network's IP changes? I thought you had to change the router's MAC address for the IP to change
Hello, i have an adsl modem and my mac adrress cannot be cloned in the interface. I called the producer and they said "your modem is adsl and the mac address cannot be cloned in interface" are there any chance to clone the mac address of my pc into my modem?
how can you spoof a router location when traveling international. i will do this while working remote. i know i need to choose a vpn but idk. can you do a video about this. someone told me that i can buy the routers already set up and i dont need to do any work but i dont know what routers they are talking about.
That’s a tough one. I would assume it won’t, only because there is a specific ethernet port on the back that is used for the internet coming in. It may, but that would depend on the router you have. If you were able to do that, the internet would perform poorly. However, a quick trip to Goodwill or a similar second hand store will get you a cheap ethernet cable. That’s where I get all mine. At the end of the day, you’ll have to check your router’s settings.

Does cloning MAC address on a secondary router do any damage in-terms of performance to devices connected directly to the primary router?

If the company that made it says you can't, then you won't be able to do it by default. You would have to do more research for your specific setup.
