To the ex anti-cheat dev @MrSirDrRevCapt... PLEASE give me part 2 of all this. I really wish SHG just had free reign to show us what they got without crazy dev crunch times and IW input. Maybe they'll gradually get more control over MWIII as the year progresses.
Thank you for reminding me I need to talk to him again too, ive been busy with finishing my current semester. @MrSirDrRevCapt is a cool dude and he's let me ask a some questions he was able to give some partial answers too about how the patented systems work, since from his words, "they needed to build the anti cheat around this" this being systems and methods for incentivizing team cooperation where they change health and damage and any other factor relating to your player in real time.
I am not a CoD mapper or modder, but I am fairly certain the reason why you (and all MWIII players, for that matter) so often get stuck on geometry is because all of these maps were originally developed for the canned MW2 Remastered Multiplayer. You gotta remember, the Remastered Multiplayer was a real thing. Activision canned it because they wanted to force people to buy the newer game, and for a couple of years, they wanted to keep it in a safe, ready to be released once a brand new CoD came out but flopped hard. With the claims that MWIII was developed in 18 months, and with the notion that all of its multiplayer maps are just MW2 (2009) maps for no specific reason at all (think about it, if they were to remaster maps for the third installment in the reboot trilogy, wouldn't it make more sense to remaster the 2011 MW3 maps?), it becomes obvious that Sledgehammer was forced to hastily port everything made for MW2MR to the new game, and the sudden change in engines probably messed up with the physics engine and/or the original geometry, designed for the older game with the pre-MW2019 movement, flow and physics engine.
Bet they weren't even going to put the 'Modern Warfare 2' maps in the year 2 DLC for 'Modern Warfare II'. They were like "Boys, we're calling the DLC Modern Warfare III, selling it full price, and we're going to have to use up the good maps we were saving to charm the simps because it's so fuckin obvious".
I think there's something here. I would've loved MW3 maps, but I think the majority of people prefer MW2 over MW3. So they remastered those maps. They are more nostalgic than MW3.
Happened in vanguard a lot too. They probably added collision for realism or are too lazy to smooth out the edges of barriers for random objects on the map. It's a poor attempt at adding terrain/obstacles

😂Well Infinity Ward are the OG so it is there say. Sledgehammer had their chance with WW2 and tbh the game was fire. Vanguard though was horrible. Now that MW3 is out and they're using the same Vanguard optics im not ao sure they are competent to make a full game. 8 months or not.

For example, in both the MW2 and MW3 betas they had the LGBTQ flags and emblem right off the bat, and near the end of MW2 we finally got nationality flags but only half of it. Speaking of which it didn't have the Mexican flag when the whole game took place in Mexico. MW3 kinda sort of put the rest, but are still missing flags. For a game dev that wants to show they support "RePrEsEnTaTIon", they are doing a shit job at it.

As a future game dev, currently working in unreal 5 right now, and going to school to get better, this is why I'm doing it. I'm done with bad games, and this screwed up market, they've pushed the Gamers too far. Devs know what happens when you push players, business men do not, we will come for your jobs just to get the achievement for it, even if we have to make one for it ourselves! We will steal the game from you, mod it, host our own servers, push our own updates, and completely forget you were there to begin with. You want war with the players? We will play you then.
CoD wondered why we got the BOIII servers and Plutonium, they refused to change so the people changed instead. Activision executives should be behind bars not only because of the whole Activision-Blizzard lawsuit fiasco, but because of their inhumane treatment of both Sledgehammer Games AND TREAYRCH all the way back since Black Ops 4's revolutionary open world campaign had to be cancelled to put out a functional 100 player battle royale in less than a year. But even that managed to have more soul than anything put out ever since 2019. 3 years of support and content cancelled. Zombies factions cancelled. Satisfying conclusions to either of the zombies stories cancelled. Advanced movement in multiplayer cancelled. The biggest Call of Duty of all time cancelled. I'll say this again: Infinity Ward and Activision do not deserve an ounce of sympathy.
The last time Infinity Ward had any soul put into a game was the over hated Infinite Warfare. The devs seemed really excited to share that game with the community despite all the hate it got. And let’s not forget they got loot boxes right. But I agree that whatever happened with MW2019 and so on has been disastrous
@youngtidepod3507 Black Ops 4 was set to be Treyarch's most ambitious game, and then they would have done it again with Cold War... But, he's absolutely correct, Activision sabotaged both of those games. BOTH OF THEM. Everything he's talking about with BO4 that couldn't happen was among things that were supposed to happen. Cold War had a lot of things that were supposed to happen but couldn't. So yes, this game essentially could have apexed MW2019 even, had Activision put their biases aside and do what they're there to do: Help companies make their games and help rake in the money. They made money, but the best way to give them the gut punch: They could have triple what they have now if they let Treyarch cook, same with IW.
I just feel sorry for people like my dad, he’s not the best at CoD but he really loves playing it. He uses snipers mostly because he enjoys taking people out with one bullet etc. But I was watching him play earlier and he’s really struggling to get more than 5 kills without dying literally 10-15 times so it’s not even like lower skilled players get a chance in mw3

Wow. Don't care what side one falls on politically, but this just shows that putting personal beliefs and biases before rational, sound decision making when developing games leads to utter ruin. I almost got tears in my eyes thinking of all the fun times my friends and I had in the old games--back when there were only a handful of guns, perks and killstreaks but MUCH more substance--and now seeing where we are thanks to bad decisions, bad intentions and even worse leadership. Great things don't last forever I suppose. As long as the next generation is having fun I can move on happily, but I haven't had fun playing CoD since Ghosts. Where did it all go wrong, man? If you think about it, the sledgehammer we have hasn’t had a full life cycle to make a game. Leadership changed halfway through WWII, Vanguard they were forced to divert to make it in 8 months, and MWIII they were told it was a dlc and only had 16 months on it
They were forced cause they are incompetent and treyarch had to step in for cold war. Cold war was supposed to be sledehammers game. People want to pick and choose what they remember and what actually happened.

SHG always have less dev time than other studios and then need to get permission from IW to do stuff. It's no wonder they're considered the worse, they're at a severe disadvantage and people wonder why their games release with bad spawns and get patched later lol. Which is sad because their games are objectively the best since MW2 2009. AW is literally the best advanced movement game - infinite was just a reskinned BO3 & BO all sucks - it just does, if you know you know - MW2 2009 was the best CoD to ever exist, WWII is underrated (maps are the only weak spot, it played a lot like mW2 2009, in WW2 skin - vanguard is underrated, MWIII is better than MWII for sure). MW3 2011 was nowhere near as good as MW2 2009, but it was light years better than BO1 & BO2, its contemporaries of the time.

It really is painful to hear that SHG never got a full shake to make a complete game. They’re always thrown into some chaotic schedule, forced to make lemonade out of lemons! I’m glad they’re getting the recognition they deserve, as honestly they are the saviors of Cod we’ve been wanting.

This was the same thing with 343. They had people calling the shots for Halo that didnt play or like Halo or Bungie's view for the Title. So they made "Their" Halo. 4 was meh, 5 wasnt even Halo. And the Masterchief Collection was a disgrace that pretty much pushed Halo to the backend of FPS games for years. 343 heads all got fired after the Infinite launch debacle. God i hope IW gets the same treatment.
Halo 4 was unnecessarily different. All we wanted was another bombastic Halo 3 and they gave us some cry baby sob story. Halo 5 doesn't amount to steamimg dog shit (fuck Brian Reed) and Infinite's open-world campaign is bland with minimal effort put into cutscenes. So glad Bonnie Ross the idiot was fired.

I've been watching your recent videos on MWIII. I worked for IW & Activision thru SHG on this title. I would like to clear up a few things that you have covered: 1) Yes, there are bots in multiplayer lobbies. We were never given a reason for this, in fact one of our colleagues on SHG was fired by IW/Activision because he expressed his concern about the integrity of the game to the wrong person and it got back to IW/Activision. AI has gotten so powerful now that they have code written that can mimic real players play style. It apparently took a long time to develop this as kill cams would appear to be like the bot had aimbot/wall hacks. They got that figured out eventually, but you were spot on in yesterday's video where they were getting stuck on walls. That is a key issue with the bots is that for some reason they get stuck on the map perimeter walls and don't always work like they did in DMZ/Campaign/Co-op etc, like all AI tech, there are issues...The "rationale" that IW/Activision used in initiating this was because "people complained for years about lobbies being unbalanced" (an obvious lie as lobbies are still unbalanced from time to time. It's not a piece of code that SHG worked on specifically, it was a behind-closed-doors piece of code/tech that IW/Activision created. 2)DMZ is gone and it is not going to come back. The reason that it was free in beta was because they were trying to redo the whole way zombies was played from the way it was in the past. They wanted to introduce the DMZ-style mechanics to the public and then push everyone towards Zombies to boost sales when MWIII launched. The problem was that it became wickedly popular and people LOVED it as it was. They wanted obvious quality-of-life improvements and for the game to continue, but IW/Activision refused to put it into the new game because they wanted people to buy zombies. You see, there is a very clear difference that IW/Activision has discovered with DMZ players. They tend to play 80% DMZ & the rest is multiplayer to level up weapons and some warzone. This is what the data tells us (I became good friends with one of the few GOOD guys at Activision so I tended to get a fuller picture on certain topics when we'd go out for drinks while many of my co-workers at SHG would be in the dark and not understand why certain things were happening. IW/Activision omitted DMZ from the new launch specifically because they knew that if they put it in the new game then those hardcore DMZ players would expect it to be free - which it should be - and they would not spend the money on the new game. This is the real reason that DMZ is not in the new game in addition to zombies and warzone, and, why it is going to get no updates. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they shut down the servers like they did for Warzone 1 to boost sales of the new game around spring or summer. That was a calculated move they pulled to get more people to buy MWII - and it worked. 3) The game has in fact become all about pay-to-win bundles and special skins etc. You've probably noticed that bundles used to cost COD points almost exclusively, however, in the last year, the shift has turned to about 50% being for COD points and cash money respectively now. You'll also notice how the cost of the COD points bundles has increased substantially. So now, you cannot get the Battle Pass, complete it and then have earned enough COD points to get a nice bundle anymore. It's all about money with IW/Activision. They expected the world of us. When we told them we needed more time to get the bugs fixed in the game and that they should push the launch date back a few months AT LEAST we were told it was out of the question and we began having to sleep in our offices and began missing LIFE. We were told in no uncertain terms that: as long as we didn't have too many more bugs than last year's launch than it was okay with them. As you've probably heard by now there are many people that have bought the game and cannot even get it to load....This is specifcally because IW/Activision is all about profits and do not care that they are putting out a $hit product. Don't ask what department I work in or if I was fired or still work for IW/Activision under SHG; I may have already said enough to figure out who I am and have certainly violated my non-disclosure agreement...I feel sorry for the players, I really do. We all got free codes to download the game for ourselves obviously. I refused to use mine and contribute to their statistics and would encourage others to play what they already own or explore other FPS games as IW/Activison is a complete $$ Wh0r3.

I'm certain that the reason the player jumped off the roof around 1:01 was because in the original Highrise, you could climb on that broken platform and make your way to a secret spot on top of the map. That or they really did realize what game there were playing.
I've been saying this forever (in regards to the studio leaning to the left poltically). I've commented a few times before giving my experience as a playtester, which went as follows: When we were done, they gave us a choice of a game or activision merch. The one time I chose the merch, they gave me an activsion logo hoodie and shirt with pride themed colors. This pride merch seemed like stuff that failed miserably and never got sold/moved well because they had a shit ton sitting in boxes, all brand new never touched. The guy moderating the playtest started shaking when he was explaining to us to not say "your game fucking sucks" without providing reasons why. He looked like he was gonna start crying soy tears all prior to us starting the playtest. Also they have a bunch of communist symbols in the recent games. They also removed factions because they dont wanna be "racist" to ethnic groups by depicting them as terrorists. Failure dev team
SHG and treyarch need time to make their own games without infinity turd breathing on their necks to find ways to ruin the experience or add weapons into warzone. it isn’t fair for them to have such little dev time while IW were given a full 3 years.
Who else would be okay if we only got a new CoD every two years? Alternating between whatever Sledgehammer and Treyarch wants to make? It would give them each a 4 year dev cycle and honestly if they did that i would probably buy a dlc 1 year in.
Damn what you said about BO2 really hit hard. I LOVED (and still do) Black ops 2. The setting, the guns, the way the game played etc But still I was and am a somewhat bad player. So why can't it be enjoyable without SBMM anymore? To answer my own question: I think it was because people were trying to get better. I don't have as much time to play anymore but every game I would still make some progress. Nowadays the lower skilled group of players tend to not want to improve/can't improve, maybe both. If you would remove SBMM they would get destroyed each game (until they get better) but if they don't have the ambition to become better, they will quit the game. If they quit, lower player numbers, lower sales in the store (since these players can't achieve killstreaks/wins/... they probably spend a lot more in the store to at least look good).

Sounds like the whole IW dev team and team leader needs to be fired and have some fresh eyes and minds work on the new COD games and put passion and life and SOUL back into COD. This isn't gonna end well for IW in the long run.

If you go all the way back, sledgehammer has never had a fair shake but always seem to contribute to the most change. It's sad because the higher ups at Activision and IW are just meat head rich politicians.

To this day I believe call of duty’s problems started with the introduction of Warzone. Since then, IW has pushed for every cod to rely on microtransactions and the “Battle Pass” crap. Every game mode has suffered because of this. Spec Ops is a joke, Zombies has completely lost it’s identity. And Multiplayer is just used to get people in the cod store. Since the MW19 engine, gunplay has become horrible, sbmm gets worse every year, the ricochet anti-cheat is a disaster, the ui and menu’s are terrible, I don’t understand why every cod has to show up when you open any of them. Operators are an absolute joke. The “Seasons” HAVE RUINED CONTENT UPDATES. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF ADDING GOOD GAME MODES AND TAKING THEM AWAY. WHY DOES CALL OF DUTY NEED SO MANY CROSSOVER SKIN BUNDLES?? WHY ARE THEY TRYING SO HARD TO BE FORTNITE?!?!??! I have played Vanguard for like 10 minutes at a friends house, and I swear aim assist stopped being a thing since then. My point in this entire rant is that I agree, IW has been killing cod this entire time.

I’ve been telling people the same thing about this game based off of what I’ve heard so many different streamers saying and I’m experiencing the lag and all that when I have a good connection and should be lagging. i remember a similar thing during halo 4s development, the game was a cod clone because in short terms they hired people onto 343 that didnt even like or understand halo, playtesters that said this sucks why doesnt it play like cod, ect. & it was reflected in the multiplayer's final form especially by how it was generally recieved. So for this person to make similar claims about IW is very much plausible because though theyre not the first team to behave this way to an established IP, their actions & attitudes are parallel to those of older times after bungie passed the torch of halo. other dev teams have done this stuff to IPs before but the bungie to 343 transition was to my memory the most infamous & current IW is reeking of that behavior
COD lost it's originality long ago. They began with copying HALO, then Battlefield, then Titan Fall, now it's Fortnite. They went from leading the way, to attempting to clone every popular idea, and in doing so, destroyed what made them great. Hey BT, can you look into how SBMM issues change in match. I have an odd feeling that the higher your K/D the more your SBMM fluctuates in match. Leading to worse gun fights while other teammate with lower K/Ds have better gun fights more often than you. Is there a way you can test it I have been thinking about this for a couple days.
The only way the could manipulate what gunfights you get into would be to either fill the entire enemy team with bots, or dynamically adjust the accuracy/damage of your gun. Or maybe I misunderstood.
@@railasvuo I was thinking so at first but I have matches where it feels like there is nothing wrong with my controller outside a few gun fights I only noticed this because I was on with my friend who is actually decent at the game he just doesn’t really go for kills and he goes for the objective but has like a .87 K/D to my 1.09 K/D and I wasn’t going negative but it just felt like I couldn’t pick up a good streak meanwhile he is racking up 120 kills this was on shipment btw. It’s like he was getting bot kills and I was having to sweat for a kill in the same lobby

We definitely need an investigation as to why this game is so big. Like there’s no way it’s over 220 GB. Like no way that’s possible. That honestly the largest game that I’ve ever seen. The campaign isn’t that long and online there’s like 8 maps that are all fairly small. I haven’t played zombies that much so not sure how big that is but there is no way this game is that huge like bigger than any other game on Xbox by at least 100GB

4:50 back in the day there was a sick Nuke emblem that was a rotating biohazard logo that glowed and you got it for getting 25 nukes. I grinded that shit out in high school got the 25 nukes and felt do good having that emblem in game so others can see I dropped a lot of nukes people would always get salty when I was running a lobby with my nuke emblem. Now I cant even get a nuke the sbmm is actually so insane in my lobbies someone has never dropped a single nuke on me. Even back in MW2019 nobody ever dropped a nuke in my lobbies. Everyone is too good at the game

So I just leveled the MTZ 762 to max, for the ADS while moving kills after to unlocked the conversion kit. Equipped it, and it glitches out reverting it back to stock once you start a MP match.....can't even USE the conversion kit in game. Wtf.....
I'll say this, I want the assassin vest. Not to camp with but they gave me the ability to run freely finally with covert sneakers and the best would now give me the ability to rush even harder. It's not just for campers, it's for people who like to rush as well. The only way I could see it being for campers is if they kneecap it with not allowing the sneakers to stack with it. Staying off the radar is amazing for hc s&d pushing.
I really think that comment is 100% true. The AI voice chat reporter has banned be for 14 days for trash talking. Basically when someone bit at me because I was slapping them in the map and it flagged me up for voice violation and then referred me back to guidelines. This getting stuck thing is so true as well. I slide cancel and all of a sudden the character stops, and I just bob up and down, frustrating really. I get people will say it’s a skill thing but it’s definitely not. The zombies map which will be the Warzone map, there’s a lot of places on there where you can’t run up a hill and have to go round an invisible barrier or have to mount over something invisible. The crane in downtown, you get stuck in the operator cabin and can’t shoot the windows to get out of it.
To the ex anti-cheat dev @MrSirDrRevCapt... PLEASE give me part 2 of all this. I really wish SHG just had free reign to show us what they got without crazy dev crunch times and IW input. Maybe they'll gradually get more control over MWIII as the year progresses.

I am not a CoD mapper or modder, but I am fairly certain the reason why you (and all MWIII players, for that matter) so often get stuck on geometry is because all of these maps were originally developed for the canned MW2 Remastered Multiplayer.
You gotta remember, the Remastered Multiplayer was a real thing. Activision canned it because they wanted to force people to buy the newer game, and for a couple of years, they wanted to keep it in a safe, ready to be released once a brand new CoD came out but flopped hard. With the claims that MWIII was developed in 18 months, and with the notion that all of its multiplayer maps are just MW2 (2009) maps for no specific reason at all (think about it, if they were to remaster maps for the third installment in the reboot trilogy, wouldn't it make more sense to remaster the 2011 MW3 maps?), it becomes obvious that Sledgehammer was forced to hastily port everything made for MW2MR to the new game, and the sudden change in engines probably messed up with the physics engine and/or the original geometry, designed for the older game with the pre-MW2019 movement, flow and physics engine.

Happened in vanguard a lot too. They probably added collision for realism or are too lazy to smooth out the edges of barriers for random objects on the map. It's a poor attempt at adding terrain/obstacles

For example, in both the MW2 and MW3 betas they had the LGBTQ flags and emblem right off the bat, and near the end of MW2 we finally got nationality flags but only half of it. Speaking of which it didn't have the Mexican flag when the whole game took place in Mexico. MW3 kinda sort of put the rest, but are still missing flags. For a game dev that wants to show they support "RePrEsEnTaTIon", they are doing a shit job at it.

Activision executives should be behind bars not only because of the whole Activision-Blizzard lawsuit fiasco, but because of their inhumane treatment of both Sledgehammer Games AND TREAYRCH all the way back since Black Ops 4's revolutionary open world campaign had to be cancelled to put out a functional 100 player battle royale in less than a year. But even that managed to have more soul than anything put out ever since 2019. 3 years of support and content cancelled. Zombies factions cancelled. Satisfying conclusions to either of the zombies stories cancelled. Advanced movement in multiplayer cancelled. The biggest Call of Duty of all time cancelled. I'll say this again: Infinity Ward and Activision do not deserve an ounce of sympathy.
The last time Infinity Ward had any soul put into a game was the over hated Infinite Warfare. The devs seemed really excited to share that game with the community despite all the hate it got. @youngtidepod3507 Black Ops 4 was set to be Treyarch's most ambitious game, and then they would have done it again with Cold War... But, he's absolutely correct, Activision sabotaged both of those games. BOTH OF THEM. Everything he's talking about with BO4 that couldn't happen was among things that were supposed to happen. Cold War had a lot of things that were supposed to happen but couldn't. So yes, this game essentially could have apexed MW2019 even, had Activision put their biases aside and do what they're there to do: Help companies make their games and help rake in the money. They made money, but the best way to give them the gut punch: They could have triple what they have now if they let Treyarch cook, same with IW.
I just feel sorry for people like my dad, he’s not the best at CoD but he really loves playing it. He uses snipers mostly because he enjoys taking people out with one bullet etc. But I was watching him play earlier and he’s really struggling to get more than 5 kills without dying literally 10-15 times so it’s not even like lower skilled players get a chance in mw3

If you think about it, the sledgehammer we have hasn’t had a full life cycle to make a game. Leadership changed halfway through WWII, Vanguard they were forced to divert to make it in 8 months, and MWIII they were told it was a dlc and only had 16 months on it

Which is sad because their games are objectively the best since MW2 2009. AW is literally the best advanced movement game - infinite was just a reskinned BO3 & BO all sucks - it just does, if you know you know - MW2 2009 was the best CoD to ever exist, WWII is underrated (maps are the only weak spot, it played a lot like mW2 2009, in WW2 skin - vanguard is underrated, MWIII is better than MWII for sure). MW3 2011 was nowhere near as good as MW2 2009, but it was light years better than BO1 & BO2, its contemporaries of the time.

This was the same thing with 343. They had people calling the shots for Halo that didnt play or like Halo or Bungie's view for the Title. So they made "Their" Halo. 4 was meh, 5 wasnt even Halo. And the Masterchief Collection was a disgrace that pretty much pushed Halo to the backend of FPS games for years.

I've been watching your recent videos on MWIII. I worked for IW & Activision thru SHG on this title. I would like to clear up a few things that you have covered:
1) Yes, there are bots in multiplayer lobbies. We were never given a reason for this, in fact one of our colleagues on SHG was fired by IW/Activision because he expressed his concern about the integrity of the game to the wrong person and it got back to IW/Activision. AI has gotten so powerful now that they have code written that can mimic real players play style. It apparently took a long time to develop this as kill cams would appear to be like the bot had aimbot/wall hacks. They got that figured out eventually, but you were spot on in yesterday's video where they were getting stuck on walls. That is a key issue with the bots is that for some reason they get stuck on the map perimeter walls and don't always work like they did in DMZ/Campaign/Co-op etc, like all AI tech, there are issues...The "rationale" that IW/Activision used in initiating this was because "people complained for years about lobbies being unbalanced" (an obvious lie as lobbies are still unbalanced from time to time. It's not a piece of code that SHG worked on specifically, it was a behind-closed-doors piece of code/tech that IW/Activision created.
2)DMZ is gone and it is not going to come back. The reason that it was free in beta was because they were trying to redo the whole way zombies was played from the way it was in the past. They wanted to introduce the DMZ-style mechanics to the public and then push everyone towards Zombies to boost sales when MWIII launched. The problem was that it became wickedly popular and people LOVED it as it was. They wanted obvious quality-of-life improvements and for the game to continue, but IW/Activision refused to put it into the new game because they wanted people to buy zombies. You see, there is a very clear difference that IW/Activision has discovered with DMZ players. They tend to play 80% DMZ & the rest is multiplayer to level up weapons and some warzone. This is what the data tells us (I became good friends with one of the few GOOD guys at Activision so I tended to get a fuller picture on certain topics when we'd go out for drinks while many of my co-workers at SHG would be in the dark and not understand why certain things were happening. IW/Activision omitted DMZ from the new launch specifically because they knew that if they put it in the new game then those hardcore DMZ players would expect it to be free - which it should be - and they would not spend the money on the new game. This is the real reason that DMZ is not in the new game in addition to zombies and warzone, and, why it is going to get no updates. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they shut down the servers like they did for Warzone 1 to boost sales of the new game around spring or summer. That was a calculated move they pulled to get more people to buy MWII - and it worked.
3) The game has in fact become all about pay-to-win bundles and special skins etc. You've probably noticed that bundles used to cost COD points almost exclusively, however, in the last year, the shift has turned to about 50% being for COD points and cash money respectively now. You'll also notice how the cost of the COD points bundles has increased substantially. So now, you cannot get the Battle Pass, complete it and then have earned enough COD points to get a nice bundle anymore. It's all about money with IW/Activision. They expected the world of us. When we told them we needed more time to get the bugs fixed in the game and that they should push the launch date back a few months AT LEAST we were told it was out of the question and we began having to sleep in our offices and began missing LIFE. We were told in no uncertain terms that: as long as we didn't have too many more bugs than last year's launch than it was okay with them. As you've probably heard by now there are many people that have bought the game and cannot even get it to load....This is specifcally because IW/Activision is all about profits and do not care that they are putting out a $hit product.
Don't ask what department I work in or if I was fired or still work for IW/Activision under SHG; I may have already said enough to figure out who I am and have certainly violated my non-disclosure agreement...I feel sorry for the players, I really do. We all got free codes to download the game for ourselves obviously. I refused to use mine and contribute to their statistics and would encourage others to play what they already own or explore other FPS games as IW/Activison is a complete $$ Wh0r3.

I'm certain that the reason the player jumped off the roof around 1:01 was because in the original Highrise, you could climb on that broken platform and make your way to a secret spot on top of the map.

I've been saying this forever (in regards to the studio leaning to the left poltically). I've commented a few times before giving my experience as a playtester, which went as follows:
When we were done, they gave us a choice of a game or activision merch. The one time I chose the merch, they gave me an activsion logo hoodie and shirt with pride themed colors. This pride merch seemed like stuff that failed miserably and never got sold/moved well because they had a shit ton sitting in boxes, all brand new never touched. The guy moderating the playtest started shaking when he was explaining to us to not say "your game fucking sucks" without providing reasons why. He looked like he was gonna start crying soy tears all prior to us starting the playtest. Also they have a bunch of communist symbols in the recent games. They also removed factions because they dont wanna be "racist" to ethnic groups by depicting them as terrorists. Failure dev team
SHG and treyarch need time to make their own games without infinity turd breathing on their necks to find ways to ruin the experience or add weapons into warzone. it isn’t fair for them to have such little dev time while IW were given a full 3 years.

Who else would be okay if we only got a new CoD every two years? Alternating between whatever Sledgehammer and Treyarch wants to make? It would give them each a 4 year dev cycle and honestly if they did that i would probably buy a dlc 1 year in.

To answer my own question: I think it was because people were trying to get better.
I don't have as much time to play anymore but every game I would still make some progress.
Nowadays the lower skilled group of players tend to not want to improve/can't improve, maybe both.
If you would remove SBMM they would get destroyed each game (until they get better)
but if they don't have the ambition to become better, they will quit the game.
If they quit, lower player numbers, lower sales in the store (since these players can't achieve killstreaks/wins/... they probably spend a lot more in the store to at least look good).

To this day I believe call of duty’s problems started with the introduction of Warzone. Since then, IW has pushed for every cod to rely on microtransactions and the “Battle Pass” crap. Every game mode has suffered because of this. Spec Ops is a joke, Zombies has completely lost it’s identity. And Multiplayer is just used to get people in the cod store. Since the MW19 engine, gunplay has become horrible, sbmm gets worse every year, the ricochet anti-cheat is a disaster, the ui and menu’s are terrible, I don’t understand why every cod has to show up when you open any of them. Operators are an absolute joke. The “Seasons” HAVE RUINED CONTENT UPDATES. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF ADDING GOOD GAME MODES AND TAKING THEM AWAY. WHY DOES CALL OF DUTY NEED SO MANY CROSSOVER SKIN BUNDLES?? WHY ARE THEY TRYING SO HARD TO BE FORTNITE?!?!??! I have played Vanguard for like 10 minutes at a friends house, and I swear aim assist stopped being a thing since then. My point in this entire rant is that I agree, IW has been killing cod this entire time.

I’ve been telling people the same thing about this game based off of what I’ve heard so many different streamers saying and I’m experiencing the lag and all that when I have a good connection and should be lagging. What you said, I completely agree as well. Tired of these full squad campers man just boring asf on these camper’s dream maps.

i remember a similar thing during halo 4s development, the game was a cod clone because in short terms they hired people onto 343 that didnt even like or understand halo, playtesters that said this sucks why doesnt it play like cod, ect. & it was reflected in the multiplayer's final form especially by how it was generally recieved. So for this person to make similar claims about IW is very much plausible because though theyre not the first team to behave this way to an established IP, their actions & attitudes are parallel to those of older times after bungie passed the torch of halo. other dev teams have done this stuff to IPs before but the bungie to 343 transition was to my memory the most infamous & current IW is reeking of that behavior

COD lost it's originality long ago. They began with copying HALO, then Battlefield, then Titan Fall, now it's Fortnite. They went from leading the way, to attempting to clone every popular idea, and in doing so, destroyed what made them great. Add in the fact they became overly greedy...and you are left with what you have now, a game with no identity, no soul, a shell of it's former self, and, worse, highly manipulative for reasons unknown. They were at the top, it was their spot to lose, and they literally jumped off the ledge and hit bottom.
IW needs to never touch MP again. Keep them on the campaign team.

Hey BT, can you look into how SBMM issues change in match. I have an odd feeling that the higher your K/D the more your SBMM fluctuates in match. Leading to worse gun fights while other teammate with lower K/Ds have better gun fights more often than you. Is there a way you can test it I have been thinking about this for a couple days.

The only way the could manipulate what gunfights you get into would be to either fill the entire enemy team with bots, or dynamically adjust the accuracy/damage of your gun. Or maybe I misunderstood.

@@railasvuo I was thinking so at first but I have matches where it feels like there is nothing wrong with my controller outside a few gun fights I only noticed this because I was on with my friend who is actually decent at the game he just doesn’t really go for kills and he goes for the objective but has like a .87 K/D to my 1.09 K/D and I wasn’t going negative but it just felt like I couldn’t pick up a good streak meanwhile he is racking up 120 kills this was on shipment btw. It’s like he was getting bot kills and I was having to sweat for a kill in the same lobby

Can def appreciate the devs comment and the light they shined, but don't care about their bias on vanguard just because they were apart of making it. We definitely need an investigation as to why this game is so big. Like there’s no way it’s over 220 GB. Like no way that’s possible. That honestly the largest game that I’ve ever seen. The campaign isn’t that long and online there’s like 8 maps that are all fairly small. I haven’t played zombies that much so not sure how big that is but there is no way this game is that huge like bigger than any other game on Xbox by at least 100GB

4:50 back in the day there was a sick Nuke emblem that was a rotating biohazard logo that glowed and you got it for getting 25 nukes. I grinded that shit out in high school got the 25 nukes and felt do good having that emblem in game so others can see I dropped a lot of nukes people would always get salty when I was running a lobby with my nuke emblem. Now I cant even get a nuke the sbmm is actually so insane in my lobbies someone has never dropped a single nuke on me. Even back in MW2019 nobody ever dropped a nuke in my lobbies. Everyone is too good at the game

So I just leveled the MTZ 762 to max, for the ADS while moving kills after to unlocked the conversion kit.
Equipped it, and it glitches out reverting it back to stock once you start a MP match.....can't even USE the conversion kit in game. Wtf.....

I'll say this, I want the assassin vest. Not to camp with but they gave me the ability to run freely finally with covert sneakers and the best would now give me the ability to rush even harder. It's not just for campers, it's for people who like to rush as well. The only way I could see it being for campers is if they kneecap it with not allowing the sneakers to stack with it. Staying off the radar is amazing for hc s&d pushing.

I really think that comment is 100% true. The AI voice chat reporter has banned be for 14 days for trash talking. Basically when someone bit at me because I was slapping them in the map and it flagged me up for voice violation and then referred me back to guidelines. This getting stuck thing is so true as well. I slide cancel and all of a sudden the character stops, and I just bob up and down, frustrating really. I get people will say it’s a skill thing but it’s definitely not. The zombies map which will be the Warzone map, there’s a lot of places on there where you can’t run up a hill and have to go round an invisible barrier or have to mount over something invisible. The crane in downtown, you get stuck in the operator cabin and can’t shoot the windows to get out of it.
