I used to work as a remote QA engineer from Argentina at Sony Pictures back in 2019 and they flew us to Sony's offices to meet the team. I was sitting down by a street inside the Sony premises (it's like a mini city) and Gina walked by and stood in front of me like 5 steps away. I was starstruck as hell and couldn't even say hi or anything, I didn't want to bother her (and also I think there was a rule that you can't talk to celebrities inside Sony premises). I regret it to this day. There's just no way I'll run into her again in my life. Damn. Gorgeous woman and such a powerful aura.

Gina Carano is a true PIONEER of mma. Her beauty was there, but it was secondary to her skills. She had such good muay thai, and she sharpened all of her other skills in a short time. She only had 8 fights, but every single fight (aside from her debut) was against a UFC-level fighter. Most made it the UFC once they allowed women to fight (2013), but make no mistake: Gina has a VERY DEEP (albeit short) resume in mma.
Gina Carano has been such a role model to me! Standing strong for what you believe in is what really makes a strong woman. Unlike Gina I'd get destroyed in a fight (although I love watching action scenes), but what really matters is my character and I hope I come across as genuine and kind and brave as her. I remember when Gina was absolutely the hottest ticket around! She was strikeforce woman’s champion but then along came Cris Cyborg. Cyborg defeated Carano becoming her one and only loss and I think she retired from fighting not long after. Gina is a big girl man. She is just big. I remember the UFC had trouble getting opponents for cyborg during her time because she actually fought as a woman’s featherweight (145) where all of the female talent in UFC was at bantamweight and later at a lesser extent strawweight. Carano was this same weight class as cyborg as well, so she is just a really big girl, height and weight wise. She caught on pretty good in Hollywood after she retired from fighting. She deserves everything she gets. She absolutely paved the way for Ronda and Amanda Nunez and all the famous female fighters to come after her

I used to work as a remote QA engineer from Argentina at Sony Pictures back in 2019 and they flew us to Sony's offices to meet the team.
I was sitting down by a street inside the Sony premises (it's like a mini city) and Gina walked by and stood in front of me like 5 steps away.
I was starstruck as hell and couldn't even say hi or anything, I didn't want to bother her (and also I think there was a rule that you can't talk to celebrities inside Sony premises). I regret it to this day. There's just no way I'll run into her again in my life.

Gina Carano is a true PIONEER of mma. Her beauty was there, but it was secondary to her skills. She had such good muay thai, and she sharpened all of her other skills in a short time.
She only had 8 fights, but every single fight (aside from her debut) was against a UFC-level fighter. Most made it the UFC once they allowed women to fight (2013), but make no mistake: Gina has a VERY DEEP (albeit short) resume in mma.
Gina Carano has been such a role model to me! Standing strong for what you believe in is what really makes a strong woman. Unlike Gina I'd get destroyed in a fight (although I love watching action scenes), but what really matters is my character and I hope I come across as genuine and kind and brave as her. I can't see how anyone could hate her, she is just such a loveable person even through a screen. One day I hope I will get to meet her!!

I remember when Gina was absolutely the hottest ticket around! She was strikeforce woman’s champion but then along came Cris Cyborg. Cyborg defeated Carano becoming her one and only loss and I think she retired from fighting not long after. Gina is a big girl man. She is just big. I remember the UFC had trouble getting opponents for cyborg during her time because she actually fought as a woman’s featherweight (145) where all of the female talent in UFC was at bantamweight and later at a lesser extent strawweight. Carano was this same weight class as cyborg as well, so she is just a really big girl, height and weight wise. She caught on pretty good in Hollywood after she retired from fighting. She deserves everything she gets. She absolutely paved the way for Ronda and Amanda Nunez and all the famous female fighters to come after her

She's so damn gorgeous and she seems to be as real as they come. So many years in Hollywood and still comes across as a real, genuine person. The good Lord broke the mold with her! Definitely one celebrity I can honestly say I want to meet some day. Just an amazing woman.

I came her to pay my respects to the QUEEN of MMA. Gina Carano was the fighter who got me into combat sports. I remember watching her Muai Thai videos all the way to Strike Force and a bonus as Cara Dune. I always hoped for that rematch against Cyborg or a match with Ronda but she chose her path and I continued mine watching and appreciating all the greats that paved the way from Gina to Jedrzejczyk, Rousey, Tate, De Randamie, Zingano, Holm, Rose, Andrade, Shevchenko, Weili, Esparza, Grasso, Ladd, Blanchfield, Pena, and Nunes to name a few.
What a nice, genuine woman. I rarely care about anything to do with acting and have never seen any of her movies but wow, so impressed with her integrity

Seriously, mad love for Gina. She's a beautiful lady, a pillar of integrity, and every inch a class act. So glad that's she's thriving post-cancellation while Disney's circling the drain. Hopefully they bring her back into future Deadpool movies. Or into future Guardians of the Galaxy movies, since those are the only two Marvel movies my wife and I watch.

The fact that Colossus was the only one who could “see” her boob and covered her with his hand is what made the scene so funny, because he’s supposed to be such a Boy Scout. I didn’t know until now there was ever a big conflict over it. The entire movie played jokes on the audience, and it wouldn’t have been nearly as funny if the movie just gave the fans everything they wanted.
