Funny Joel said he wants to learn more about the Medieval era but then focuses on the Victorian part of the castle, the two towers and gate house are all full of Medieval history but they didn’t go there (or didn’t show it) and the towers have amazing views.
I've never been to Warwick Castle so thanks for I r taking us there. It's impressive to see how elaborately the past has been recreated to teach us about the past.
My family came to Canada from Warwickshire. In 2008, I toured Warwickshire Castle. The on-site historian showed me the castle window bearing the REEVES coat of arms, and explained that REEVES is one of England's 'founding families'. Very proud of my heritage.
Wow, you guys in the UK really do have the most beautiful history, architecture, landscapes, etc. That castle was stunning, so cool with the figures. A little strange at first, but it really seemed to add a lot to the tour! Thanks for sharing it with us, and I can totally picture “Lia of the Laundry”. 😂❤
What a great tour and video!Wow, I have so many memories of that castle! We lived in Bicester in Oxfordshire, so we would travel to Blenheim Palace and then to Warwick castle (not on the same day) whenever family and friends came to visit to show them. So impressive there! That was back in 2004-2006 so it has changed a bit. We always loved the wax people! Once, a man was dressed up in period clothing and was standing among a group of the wax figures and he jumped out at my daughter. We literally had to pick her up off the floor! 🤣 Great job once again guys! Loved it!💜
I loved this video! It brought back wonderful memories of my trip to Warwick 17 years ago. A great place to take children. I really enjoy your UK content.
I really love these videos that show different places and history of Britain. For most of us in the USA, we probably won't get a chance to see them for ourselves, so it's nice that you take us along with you. Thanks!
I remember touring Warwick Castle in the late 80s. I have so many photos.@Lia, I have a very detailed photo of the little waterfall, but taken from the window below where you stood.
Such a fun tour! We don't have that kind of history in the US. Most of the time, when something gets old, it gets torn down to build something "modern".
Yay!!! These are my favorite vlogs. 👏❇️ For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessed with castles and their history. I can’t wait to visit as many as I can someday when I visit the UK, I just love the history of castles and all of the different stories from the medieval era. ☺️🇬🇧❇️❤
I took the tour in 1982. There are so many more people there today. It’s such a beautiful castle. My time in England was a dream come true. In America everything is so new. I love how you have thousand of years of history at every turn. ❤
I love learning about British history. I'm a big fan of Philippa Gregory's novels, especially the ones that take place during the War of the Roses. Richard Neville, the 16th Earl of Warwick was called the kingmaker. This tour of his castle just made my day. Thanks so much, Joel and Lia!
Excellent idea for a video! You guys are getting very creative, taking chances with new directions. I admire that. Good for you. I will watch it, definitely, and hit "like." Thanks for the notification.
This site reminds me a lot of Salisbury House in West Des Moines Iowa here in the states. If you ever visit Iowa, its a site to see. Well worth the visit.
This is random but you guys make me want to start buying English Breakfast tea again 🤣. I guess it's all the vids where that seems like your go-to. Also loved the video!
I've always understood that life expectancy was low because so many children died. But if you lived to adulthood, you had a longer life expectancy. Is that true?

My family went there back in 1965! Not much has changed in all those years. I still remember the wall with all the swords on it.
This is exactly what I needed! I hope to bring my nephew to Warwick Castle in the spring.

Those figures totally come to life at night. I know it! Wonderful video! So glad the UK trips are back. 🖤👏🏽
So stately and regal as a castle should be I suppose. So nice and thanks for the tour.

Great tour, guys. Where is Warwick Castle? Don't think I've ever heard of it. Anyway, really enjoyed your tour.
That was a very interesting excursion you two had on this day. I would love to visit Warwick Castle. Love the history. Thanks for bringing us along.
You two should do more videos of castles. Great video. 😀

Great video; but, Lia, the leatherworker's hair was not receding. he was tonsured.
What a lovely video thank you so much for sharing.❤️
You are so welcome!
Been there twice. One of my faves. Those mannequins weren't there.
Just wanted to be one of the first 10 comments. You guys rock.
This is fab….
Looks like the castle from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
It would have been rather nice to have had the camera focused more on Warwick Castle.
How much is the entrance fee?
You two need to play some b roll music in the area you are just showing scenery. Checked my volume to make sure I didn't mute.
What is the name of the river we saw out the window?
River Avon
@@paulvickers6418 Thank you!
Did this belong to the MEAN Uncle? From War of the Roses?
Love u 2
I'd probably subscribe, but I'm not certain how often to expect new videos... so...
