@@comedicsociopathy his deal is that he is like most people on this planet. why? do you think it's easy to date women? Nothing of what this dudes said or did was that weird. Every women says and thinks the same things that this dudes said, but no one would see it as creepy if they expressed them, not even dudes. In another video with Ken, Felix refered to an urn, as urine. Now it's Satan shirt. 😂😂😂
Once upon a time, in the way back before lands, there was a show called "Mad TV." They had a parody of these videos called "Lowered Expectations" and it was usually pretty decent.
I love that y’all represent normal good guys/people. Definitely shows with the fact ya’ll have good friendships, witty humor. And amazing, beautiful smart wives; the best friend kind!
Every single one of these makes me laugh, and that "Are YOU the goddess?" line is so incredibly cheesy. lol these guys are so dorky and awkward, but the confident ones are sometimes worse. Their attempts are hilarious.
Also, I love viking Fred. That one got me especially lol
"I'm a 25 year subscriber to Playboy AND the New Yorker." lol I don't know what to even do with that statement. So happy I was born a 90's kid lol
don't worry, most girls are as akward but guys just don't care.
@@elusivegamergirl like the girls who boast about having 5 cats on dating shows.
@@paulogaspar8295 lol you're not wrong about that
Need the female version for sure
I really hope they do the female version too!
So they did it? Or not?
Online dating apps these days aren't much better xD
I remember ‘Blockbuster’ used to make these VHS tapes in the 90s where you (as a kid) would answer random questions about yourself while they recorded you. It was pretty smart, supposedly helpful to the police in the event you were kidnapped. My mom had some made for me, my sister, and my brother.
Also probably would have contacted the sketchy ‘Viking guy’ I have no idea what his angle was, but he definitely was the most memorable, he’d get along with the fact I collect ‘clown’ dolls and paintings.
I was born in the early 80's. I had forgotten these kinds of services existed. Never watched any til now seeing as how I was a kid, and had no reason to. Whenever I see this kind of stuff, the more I appreciate my dad for setting a good example of how a man should behave. The more I appreciate having waited til my 30's to find my husband cuz I was taught to have higher standards.
What the heck level of trauma did Dean go through to age THAT fast?! 😱
Part of me would like to think he just lied about his age?
i love their bluntness of the 80s, saves time for them and those who show any interests
Honestly, YES show us the womens version of this. I feel like we’d come off a little less creepy but there’s still gotta be some weird in there.
I don’t think it exists anymore sadly
I hope it still exists
Yes! Honestly, I don't get Pewds' deal. Men are great and there are more than enough crazy and downright creepy women out there. 😂
Maybe creepy in a different way but nevertheless creepy lol.
It would come off as less creepy because sciety as a distorted view of people by gender. WOmen would literally say the same thing and it would always come off as less creepy because society just views women as less creepy, both men and women. Like both men and women see assertive men as more attractive while assertive women as more annoying.
@@comedicsociopathy his deal is that he is like most people on this planet. If a dude looks weird or you are not attracted to him you see anything they do as creepy while women doing the same thing is scene as funny or just normal. In the same manner when a girl is more assertive if you are not attracted to her she will be scene as more bitchy while a dude will be scene as more attractive or confident.
"I've had a subscription to playboy and the NY times for 25 years!"
Women in the 80s: oh my, there's a man who isn't afraid of commitment 🥰
"I feel bad for women having to date us" THANK YOU. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING. OH MY GOD.
why? do you think it's easy to date women? Nothing of what this dudes said or did was that weird. Every women says and thinks the same things that this dudes said, but no one would see it as creepy if they expressed them, not even dudes. It's a societal double standart, it's not something to victimize yourself over your gender. Like men that are assertive are scene as more confident by both men and women while a women being assertive is scene as bitchy. It's another double standart. This men are being as creepy as any 40 year old women trying to date dudes. Instead of being aware of how your double standards affect others you would rather just victimize yourself and complain that society is bad and you have no fault of your own.
@@paulogaspar8295 why did you type all of this over a small little comment
@@ababble393 bro he's having a hard time Jesus just let him be
Can’t be any worse than today’s dating environment of constant swiping lol
I disagree. I truly think this is worse.
I saved this to watch later a few weeks ago because I knew I had a bad day coming up. And Ken/Felix commentary over 80s dating tapes seemed like the perfect way to destress. Was not disappointed, if anything my expectations were exceeded. This should be its own series.
Welp. I somehow read the title as 80 year old’s dating tapes. I am slightly disappointed but not dissatisfied.
Now that I am in my 70’s, I have so much fun misreading stuff. LOL
@@maryelizabeth6797 Yo I’m literally in my 20s and misread things so often I’m genuinely surprised I graduated high school at this rate.
Always a good time though 😂🤣
Hahaha
I mean, this was 35 years ago so those that were 45-54 are in their 80s...so close enough 😂
If you're wondering which one of these men is the murderer, it's the guy who kept referring himself as the third person. He might've been the fifth or sixth 🤷🏽♀️cus he kept saying "we".. who's "we" when it was just him.
Yeah absolutely a serial kidnapping murderer with multiple personalities lol
he might have some mental issue...
But maybe the one sleeping 4 hours every night because burying bodies after killing them is time-consuming... then again not judging because some people sleep less...
I loved that Felix commiserated with us for having to date men! 🤣😂😆 They can be creepy and weird Felix but they're not all bad. Lol
but they aren't thought. If it was old ladies saying the same stuff you wouldn't see it as creepy. It's all from perspective. Men are just scene as creepy for doing normal stuff while women are just scene as normal or funny when they do creepy things. You literally have examples of women trying to touch and harass male celebreties and people ust laugh it off. Imagine this dudes doing that to attractive girls on tv.
Just watch any interaction girls have with henry cavill.
@@paulogaspar8295 Just reread my comment above but plug in the word women instead of men. Same thing applies. No need to try and manufacture a conflict.
"Seen" btw... scene means something different. 🙂

I love that the guy with the rose kept moving it like "Hey. Do you see this? I'm holding a rose. I'm romantic. You can tell because I'm holding a rose. This rose. Right here."
Guy: “Idk what I’m not looking for is some big, overgrown monster that alws wants to eat food.”
Me: *proceeds to shove a sandwich inside my mouth* 👁👄👁🥪 “Interesting.”
I was just finishing off my BK onion rings lol
I always enjoy the collabs between You and Pewds :) keep up the awesome videos Ken!
They should do a follow up on these people, like a “Where are they now?” kinda thing 🤔
The 90’s movie called Singles was based on people meeting after watching videos like those.. they would get them in the mail 😂 I can’t believe it was actually a thing lol
Me realizing pewds is only a year older than me... him: happily married, millionaire, moved to the place he dreamed about living, is basically retired, focusing on his health, reads philosophyas a hobby. Me: OMG LIFE IS BURNING DOWN AROUND ME... WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?!?!?!?
Literally
you are not focusing on yourself . that is what he did . he never let culture and his surroundings dictate his life . he lead from within , and listened to no one .
DO MORE OF THESE PLEASE!!!! This made me laugh so hard, I really needed it!
I feel the "likes to have fun" is now "someone to go on adventures with". Everytime I see that I'm like what does that even meann 🙃
These 80's dating videos remind me of how awful I am on job interviews.
It's like looking in a mirror and not respecting the image you see.
1:28
Pewds - "Hi, I'm PewdiPie." You have all the dates you want.
Ken - "Hi, I'm best friends with Pewdiepie." You have all the dates you want.
“We don’t like to take out the trash”
All I could think WHO DOES?!?!
Someone helping out the household?
12:18 Lol I am glad im not the only one who thought "Is that freaking Seth Green?!" I guess this is how Seth was made xD
I’m glad that Felix guy said he liked to have fun at the end or else I wouldn’t have known.
man saying "we don't like to take out the trash" and "we prolly don't like to clean the house" bruh do they think women are all excited doing house chores or something
It’s very possible that yes, these are some men who grew up LITERALLY being told that women are incapable of difficult jobs, enjoy doing the housework, etc
I literally almost choked on my food when Felix said milk cartridges 😂
😂 The 1980s in America was a whole drug itself.
All 57 countries in America, damn 😂 but true for the US 😂 this was 1987 LA winter holidays time
Honey, you don’t know the half of it.
🤣🤣🤣
Being 25 and newly back into the dating scene....nothing has changed its just over snapchat and dms now 😂
God it's been the best seeing you two collab again after all these years
yeah , been like six years . awesome .
At 4:10 I was actually smoking a cigarette when he said that. 4th wall break 4 decades later 😂
Wait till the Australian accent rubs off on you. These things still exist for the guys that want to date girls in other countries and they spend so many thousands in this phase alone.
Shoutout to Love on the Spectrum. I am autistic and that show is one of the only honest portrayals of autistic adults in media. Plus I learned a lot 😂
Back in the 80s, saying you were a 25-year subscriber to anything was probably quite the flex.
“Some big OVERGROWN monster that’s always thinking about food” AHHHHHHH NOOOO😭😭😭😭😭
3:48 “my whole life i’ll just be made fun of for being bad at languages”

I thought Pewds said "Satan shirt" 😩😂
"Milk cartridge" is so funny too 😂😂
I would be single for the rest of my life if it wasn't for the internet. This would of been my worse nightmare D: I can't even do face time because I'm so shy D: how I got a boyfriend was through online video game lmao now we live together for 6 years xp
Same, my fiancee and I met through anime and gaming communities. Pretty and shy girls gang
yall youngsters
They have a better chance than I do. I don't get a vacuum, a cow milker, a manikin, a farm animal. Nothing.
their odds were actually better . lol : )
I feel bad because I’m sure that being in front of a camera was likely embarrassing and uncomfortable but some of these guys legitimately scared me. I really appreciate that they understand how scary dating can be, I don’t even go on dating apps @-@
“What is this fun they speak of?” Every girl every time a guy says they just wanna have some fun 😂😂
A Toxic Waste cleaner. What a chad.
When they started talking about “fun” I got an ad for tanks, or something that goes in them. Idk what exactly lol
Imagine you find your parents tape and this is how they met.
Some of these guys make it painfully obvious why they’re having trouble dating.
Not sure why people wouldn’t get how cringe the whole “looking for fun” type of statements are. Depending on how it’s worded it usually is either a red flag that you’re the kind of guy who would instantly bring up your crazy exes and act like it’s women who are always the problem (type of guy who would also put “no drama” in a profile), you’re a guy with commitment issues who’s just looking to take care of his needs and nothing “serious”, or you’re just kind of stupid and stating the obvious.
Also that guy looked so much like Seth Green-it’s like he travelled back in time to be in that video XD
Oh my God this had me laughing so hard! I love it when you Felix said," oh my God, guys are so weird and they're so creepy! I feel sorry for women having to date us!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I felt that on so many levels!
I love how honest people were before the Internet. Nobody today is adding "Subbed to Playboy" in their dating bio.
I appreciate you two understanding the pain of anyone who is attracted to men, god i wish i was lesbian sometimes 😂
And deal with neurotic and annoying women instead? No thanks, I prefer men.
Good thing you seem to attract the weirdos, means I'll continue to get the good ones. ;)
Just goes to prove $exuality isn't a choice, lol!!! 🤣🤣🤣
When each one of them was saying fun... Each one meant fun in diff ways. Some meant intimacy some meant actual fun...
Felix calling them milk cartridges almost made me choke to death on soda
I've always thought this video was hilarious and your reactions just makes it even better. If I ever wanna rewatch this dating video, I'll just watch this again instead. I just wish there were a lot more videos of these. I can't imagine how much cringe each of these dude's actual videos might actually be.
Dead ass I hit my vape as the anti smoking guy popped up 😂😂
Imagine in 50 years people will be reacting to Tinder in the same way
Omg I remember sending you this video months ago !!! so happy you decided to do it!
I'd love to say this didn't age well -- but, no, it was *_exactly_* this creepy. Also, these companies would spam people with junk mail. My married grandparents got envelopes, a bunch of people in the neighborhood, and no one was safe. The biggest one was "Great Expectations." I never knew anyone who used these places (or maybe they did it secretly?). The envelope had a read heart on it. It was very common, if you wanted to play a messed-up joke on a friend or you were angry at someone, to fill out the "Yes! I'm interested" card with another person's info. I'm so happy those envelopes are in the past. Content is gold.
I was looking for the female version and came across an article from 86 and some did but you had to shell out a lot of money too, like for Great Expectations...
Ahh, the 80’s teased hair, bright colorful spandex and Lisa frank. Lol!
God bless Felix & his milk

this is like swiping on tinder.. nothing has changed LOL
5:38 I’m a huge Godzilla fan so I would definitely take the op to date the king of the monsters. Gimme that nuke breathe all night 😂 (it’s a joke calm down)
This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen, you guys made this even funnier
Every guy in this video makes me so glad I was too young to date in the 80's. If this was how people found love, how is humanity not extinct?
These are the same guys who slides into DMs being "nice" today....
I appreciate their honesty at least they won't waste your time. There's guys now who would pretend to like bigger women and stuff just to use you as a virtue signal. I haven't experienced that personally but I know many people that have been
theres so much more
