Not because they are superstitious but because they know how many opportunities that they have been denied which we get without even asking. My mom would often talk to them, once we were waiting for our train and they came asking for money my mom paid but she noticed a newborn. The newborn was abandoned(she was a girl) which they decided to raise as their own. My friends often said "they are so vulgar" but i always remember what my parents say, "when people are not given an opportunity to survive, their survival instincts will kick in and make them do whatever needed to exist." Next time you see someone(anyone) acting out, if you are uncomfortable handing out money, help them with food or a piece of fabric. I am not saying there arent bad ones, but isnt that just the world we live in?
